Hi. My name is Ericka and I have mice. Correction, I HAD mice. This was my first experience. I also have kitties but they are fancy country club kitties so they aren't used to catting. So, mice are what I had. This company is contracted through my COA. They came out in a timely manner. The technician (owner's son) educated me on the mindset of a mouse, what to look for, techniques that work and don't and how to revise how I store my ramen in my pantry. He pulled out my appliances and found holes and droppings were nearby. He filled the holes, and brought traps and discarded my mouse in my electric trap. He even found a hole in my garage. Given I wasn't infested, caught it early on and the location of the droppings we deduced that my issue was secondary to that of my neighbors. My house was basically their resting place to their trek on the Underground Railroad. The visit was about an hour long, because we chatted throughout. He was very thorough, helpful, transparent and professional. I would recommend this company to anyone who needs to prevent an infestation, has the beginning of one and those in the midst of a full blown one. As much as I was impressed by this company, I hope to never need them again (for the inside of my home). So... now that "this house is clean" **in my poltergeist voice** I can sigh in relief. read more

The guy they send out to my place is nice, but the treatments they provide for roaches are ineffective. No matter how many times they are sent out and treat their is no end to the pests. They put out glue traps that the roaches completely ignore. However, the glue traps called Roach Motel from lowes attract the roaches. The spray Weir uses is supposed to sterilize the roaches but after 2 and a half months I'm still seeing the youths in my place. I'm kinda of stuck with Weir because it's the company my condo association has a contract with. I read a article somewhere that said pest companies have been known to spray sugar water instead of insecticide in order to get repeat business. I'm not saying that is the case with Weir but it also seems like they aren't spraying anything effective at stopping roaches. read more

Had an issue with yellow jackets forming a nest in the roof overhang above our deck. I gave Weir Pest Services a call on a Monday and they came out immediately the next day (they would have come that same afternoon, but I wasn't going to be home then). Josh was very nice and knowledgeable. After surveying the area he explained what he was going to do. Our roof overhang where the nest was forming was nailed down so Josh couldn't get to it as he would have liked. He checked with me first before he did anything further as he did not want to damage anything on the overhang. The owner, Paul, happened to be in the area and also stopped by to take a look. He also explained everything to me very clearly. I was confident in their services because both Paul and Josh's assessments and recommendations were the same. I'm quite pleased with their work and the best part is that the yellow jackets are gone and we are able to enjoy being on our deck again! read more

April 2 - Weir came to my condo for mice. I had only seen one, but since a family moved out it was recommended that we contact Weir who is under contact in my community. We have had other contractor, but Weir by far is the best. That is due to Trevor who service my unit today. He is the only contractor in 20 years that pulled the oven away from the way to inspect for holes. This was no easy task for him, but he did it and found a small opening which he sealed up. He then check throughout my unit for any other openings and sealed several closed. He then went on my patio and check the box they had put down at their last visit. He added more poison to the box. He answered every question I had with experience and knowledge and was so very polite and courteous. He, by far, is the best person to every check my unit. Not only Trevor, but I called to make sure our building was on the list . The kind man who answered the phone contacted Trevor, who was in the area but working in another unit. Two us in the bldg. talked about how great Trevor was and we really appreciate his service. I have never given a five star to any service person, but I had to today. Thanks Weir. read more

About six months ago, I had noticed that a few of the oak floor boards in my dining room were showing signs of rot, which became progressively worse over several months. After a little investigating, I found a termite mud trail in the basement, along the underside of those same floor boards. A few days later, some swarmers started to emerge from the damaged boards. My friend, who is a real estate agent, referred me to Paul Weir, who came out the next day to validate my suspicions. Three days later, Ron came out to douse my house in Termidor at a very reasonable cost. I have never experienced such wonderful, personable, kind, and patient customer service as I did with Paul and Ron. Paul was easy to talk to, and Ron kept me laughing the entire time. I had about ten bumblebees living near my deck. I called a different pest control business that told me their minimum charge to come out was $225. Then I called Weir pest control. The secretary took my info and got me in touch with the owner Paul. Paul called me within an hour. He explained that I probably have Carpenter bees which are not dangerous to humans. He explained that Carpenter bees drill holes into side of wood whereas bumblebees live in the ground under debris. Paul quoted me $100 to get rid of the carpenter bees but insisted that I can do it myself. I verified that my bees drilled holes into the deck support beams. I decided to get rid of the bees myself but will definitely call Weir pest in the future. read more

I have to give a BIG shout out to Weir​ Pest Service. We recently purchased a property that our daughter will be moving into. I called Paul last week to come out and inspect. Over the weekend my husband and I did some demo work in the basement. The very last piece of wood I removed had termite tunnels......s**** I thought it may need a termite treatment.$$$ Paul went out today, I did not mention the wood, he called to say that he did not see any termite damage in the house and no evidence of termites. But he did see the wood in the backyard, examined it and he saw the tunnels. He called me immediately to discuss. WOW I thought he went and looked at the wood that was by the trash... In today's world it's nice to know people that are generally looking out for your best interest and not all about the money. Totally recommend...superior service...thanks Paul!!! read more
