I wanted to take a moment to recognize the outstanding customer service I received from John in the repair department. As a homeowner who relies on my Ryobi lawn equipment, being without my lawnmower during repair season was stressful. John personally reached out after my mower was brought in for service and went above and beyond by arranging for me to borrow a loaner lawnmower--something I understand had been discussed as a possibility but had never actually been implemented until my situation. That level of initiative and customer care saved me from having to hire someone to mow my lawn while waiting for repairs, and I was incredibly grateful. This wasn't my only experience with John's excellent service. He subsequently helped me navigate the replacement of a defective Ryobi battery through Ryobi, which was a huge help. Most recently, he took the time to troubleshoot my Ryobi weedwhacker, which he now has working beautifully. It's rare these days to find someone who is knowledgeable, proactive, and genuinely committed to helping customers. John exemplifies what outstanding service should look like, and because of him, I would absolutely return and recommend this store to others needing Ryobi sales or service. read more

I've been going to the store for over 10 years. It's an ongoing joke with my brother-in-law and I but every time we go there for something they just happen to be out of stock. No matter what it is, they're out of stock. Even white painters caulk... which they should just have cases of sitting there ready to go, out of stock. Very inconvenient! read more

Quoted me a price to replace screen and rollers on patio sliding door and charged me double due to the incompetence of person doing the repair! He only replaced 2 of 4 rollers and struggled doing it. read more

A Friend Indeed. We are so fortunate to have a locally owned hardware store right here in town. Very friendly people, knowledgeable & give good advice. If they don't have it, they'll order it. My husband has his own shop business & Weiders has found parts for him that you couldn't get at Home Depot. They may be a little more pricey, but it's worth it not having to drive 15 miles to Home Depot & then not have what you need. read more

Kids that work there know nothing, told me to find grout/tile sealer in the automotive section "because that were we keep the sealants". After searching the store and 3 other "suggestions from him" could not find it (you think they would have it with the grout) drove out to Lowe's to get it. Lady at the checkout for the one item I was able to get there was more worried talking to customers who came in the door then checking customers out. read more

Had a flooded basement. Although they were closed, Neil was responsive and helpful via text. He reserved a floor fan and offered to have one sent from the other store. When we arrived at opening hours the next day, the fan was there and available. I have visited this store about ten times in the last year and have never had a negative experience! read more

They have some of the worst customer service of anyplace I've ever been too. It's a small town so I am forced to go sometimes. It's always unpleasant. The younger employees are always kind and helpful. However the upper management is arrogant and to busy to help find anything. The upper managements poor demeanor is only exceeded by that of the owner. If u enjoy being talked down too while being looked up at, then the owner is the "man" for you. Don't even think about asking them to stay 1 min late. Be sure u have your rental agreement looked at by a lawyer as they will likely tell u one price and then charge u another when u return. Also be very carful and watch the price. I once spent $20 for 4 bolts and nuts because "they are metric". They know it's going to take u 45 min and gas to go anywhere else. After today I would rather wait for it in the mail then go there again. read more

The customer service was absolutely terrible. We were given the wrong paint and when my fiancé attempted to return it the guy working there was extremely rude and condescending towards her. if it is your policy not to take back open products then it should be explained politely instead of blaming the consumer for lack of attention. Will not be returning. Small businesses that are more expensive aren't worth supporting if your not treated like a valued customer. read more

This is a great store with extremely helpful and knowledgeable staff. I came in to buy parts to repair a toilet and the staff directed me to the right items to get and asked if I needed any advice on how to do the repair. They offer recommendations for local contractors, plumbers, electricians, locksmiths, roofers, etc. Great local feel and so much easier than going to a big box place. Prices were the same as at big places and the selection is surprisingly large for such a small place. read more
