Wegmans Pub is really good. A small but fun menu. Portions are decent so we usually share something. Today we ordered the chicken quesadilla appetizer the salsa n lime sour cream make the dish. The store as a whole is very good and most accommodating. The bakery should get one star. When they first opened and you wanted a chocolate seven layer, they said do your shopping and it will be ready. Every time I have asked recently, they said they would do it the next day. I have watched them do this. They take the frosting out of a container and frost the cake. It takes about five minutes. I don't get it. They need a new bakery manager that wants Wegmans at the top and realizes it is the customer service that gets them there. read more

i love to grocery shop here i think they sell high quality items at a fair price. On the other hand, i am not as big of a fan on there hot food bar. I have eaten from the hot bar on several occasions but the food is disappointing and in my my mind, is no better then mall food. Yesterday, I had there chinese food and I got sick immediatly after eating it. i felt as a unhappy costumer as i spent 13 dollars on the hot food bar, and left the store feeling very ill. How can you be in love with a grocery store??? Well this place makes you. Ok I have to confess being from Upstate NY I have always proclaimed my love for Wegmans. Now saying that. This place is like the Mecca of all grocery stores. It's like a wine & beer shop, gourmet deli, fresh bakery, cheese shop, pizza stop, meat counter, the best salad and hot bar, restaurant and pub all wrapped in a one stop shop. It's my favorite store now! They have everything I need. It's like a Whole Foods but bigger and a bite cheaper. Great wine section, excellent deli, delicious bakery, good chose of meat and fish. I'm fortunate to live in an area of Short Pump where there are eleven grocery locations within 2.5 miles of my house. I've shopped at them all, and Wegman's is the best -- best produce, best selection, definitely best prepared foods. Well stocked, clean, pleasant, fresh flowers, gifts, etc. The prices on pet food are the same as Target's. Masks required, which is a definite plus. read more

I don't really know if a grocery store or market really needs reviews. Wegmans deserves one for the great selections of organic products with affordable prices. I'm pretty strict about buying organic. Wegmans offers plenty of organic products, including their own. I have tried many of their own products, all very delicious and AFFORDABLE. This is Paradise! You need groceries, this is it! What about having some food to go? Oh definitely you have to try the buffet, anything for anybody. Maybe it was all the hype, but I really expected a knockout spot. Yeah, they've got lots of products but beer & wine is not as good as Total Wine, and in general prices are at the high end, not crazy expensive but definitely the high end. So I'm psyched to try the prepared foods because that's their big selling point, right? We hit the lunch line, for lack of a better term, and got a tuna sub and some pizza. One word describes all food consumed: tasteless. How can you mess up pizza, fer cryin' out loud?! Like eating cardboard. The tuna was that low-grade brown stuff. Got a side of shrimp bisque that was as thin as water and about as tasty. Got a prepared dinner to go, chicken breast with vegs. Cut to that evening after popping it in the oven ... Hello, the Dead Sea called and wants their salt back, ohmygod, downing pitchers of water like a crazy person. On the plus side, they really do have a nice variety of items (Illy coffee, a hard to find shampoo I like) , I'm sure I'll go back for something or other but really don't see this becoming a regular spot. Nice new Wegmans at the short pump area. The store is very clean with extremely friendly staff. I love the international products the store has to offer. Makes it very convenient to shop for those items. The prices are definitely on the high end compared to other grocery chains in the area but their quality is also top notch so I guess it evens out. read more

I went to Wemans yesterday to buy some nice meats and produce, and hopefully experience some good customer service. Well, that didn't happen. First, I gave the hot bar one more chance, and that set me up for disappointment. The same sad selection, and after sitting down to eat, realized it wasn't even hot. So, not just a rip off, but might have made me sick. In this area and in produce, every employee and groups of managers had their heads down, avoided eye contact and didn't talk to me, so I felt like I couldn't ask them a question. Really do want to know if the same food put out at 11 is there at one or 2. Just like all the other new stores. Gotta talk and little effort to maintain their reputation. read more

Don't understand the hype some people give this store. Management seemed very uptight. Lady running the front end seemed to have an attitude and only talked to her friends. Everything I have heard from Wegman's employees is that it is like a cult. Also overheard that the store failed miserably on store safety inspection. Customer service is great. But it is noisy, very noisy. Prices are ok, selection great.

Best selection from their name brand foods, which honestly taste BETTER than most name brands, vegan options, gourmet options...their deli is insane. Sushi, freshly made pizza, salad bar. I could go on. They have everything. Their prices can compete well with surrounding grocery stores, unless you buy specialty items-which--its hard not to, to be honest. My favorite grocery store hands down. I also love their bulk section, i only have to buy what i am going to use which saves money, but not only that-they have top name brands and wegmans brand. There is a built in restaurant with an ABC license, thats just ok to me. I only went once. Nothing to write home about, but its a good time saver if you have kids..they do movies their at certain times! My only complaint with wegmans is that i have bought meat that expired the very next day- and im talking $40 piece of steak. Now they do take it back...but you can imagine how dissapointed i was about to make a nice dinner and i have to take an extra 30 mins out to go return it. This has happened honestly about 5 times, so be cautious! And no i have never had an issue buying expired meat, honestly ever. read more

Hello Wegmans, i would like to thank Holly in the floral department for here help yesterday. A friend had volunteered to help make 2 corsages and 2 boutonnieres for the prom. My friend was frantic, feeling she wasn't going to find the material and flowers to make them in time . We went to 3 craft stores and couldn't find the wristbands, so finally went to the flower shop on the boulevard and brought them, still couldn't find the flowers she wanted. Now my friend was more frantic than ever, we are running out of options, so i suggested Kroger. My friend went into Kroger at Short Pump and they told her they were too busy and had to many orders because it was prom week. Now i suggested Wegmans and one other store to go to, we had also gone to Stranges Florist, thier prices were high. We go into Wegmans, the floral lady saw us looking around and ask if we needed help just let her know. we needed help alright to say the least, she showed the prices and pictures and in less than 15 minutes my friend had ordered the color of flowers,bows and pick up date for tomorrow 4/20/18 . Nice and ciean. Good variety of everything. But i went to the bakery dept for donuts the other day and wanted to ask if there were chocolate fried cakes that did not have coconut all over them. They had them in the past. Several issues here. Can you make 1/2 tray with and 1/2 tray without? Would have loved to express that opinion in person but i paced in front of the donut display for quite a while and was ignored. I am sure the woman saw me then she headed out the side to restock something else, i guess. Didnt have all day so i made my way to the register and planned to talk to someone at the service desk but there was no one there. Bad experience. Bad customer support. read more

I love this store...especially meat and produce. The employees are friendly. The atmosphere is warm and inviting. I love the trail mix bar! My kids love the lobster tank and the train back in the dairy area. The self check out is great in that you can easily remove your bags during the check out process, but you do have to pay with a card or go to customer service to pay. This location was my introduction to Wegmans and I am definitely a fan. read more

Wegman's Thanksgiving Pre-Cooked Meal was 100% disappointing! Since I was unable to cook due to an injury, my husband ordered the pre-cooked meal. This is the first and last time that we will be ordering Thanksgiving dinner from Wegman's! I would have rather eaten a peanut butter and jelly sandwich! The turkey was dry and bland...skin was plain and tough. Then, they had the nerve to serve pureed squash on Thanksgiving...will save it for my 1 year old grandson. The stuffing was unmemorable and Stove-Top Stuffing would have tasted better. The green bean casserole with canned green beans and a cream sauce was not good. The mashed potatoes and gravy get the 1 star. If there was a 0, then the remaining dinner would get that rating. I would have thought that a $100+ meal would come with a dessert! Our $100+ meal has 90% leftovers that will end up in the trash unless I take the time to "recreate" the dishes. Thank God we were not entertaining this year! Wegman's should consider revamping its Thanksgiving Meals with better recipes!!!! read more

Very disappointed in the beer store manager. I called on the phone, as I live 30 minutes away, and asked for a specific beer. I was told it was in stock, but when I arrived it was not there. The beer store manager admitted that he made a mistake. So, 1 star it is. Next time I'll try my luck with the Wegmans in Midlothian, which is even further away for me. read more
