Fred, owner of the company contacted me within a few hours and said he would be out at 8AM on Monday morning. He arrived as promised and determined that it was a problem with the motor or gearbox. Discovered, broken leaf spring on our travel trailer when we got to the KOA in Barstow. It was Friday at 3:00pm and the campground recommended Hero RV. Contacted Fred and gave him info on broken spring. He told me right away it might be tough this late to get part but would try. So Monday was the earliest he could get parts, we were only a little over 2 1/2 hours from home and really wanted to get home after 5 weeks on the road. I asked Fred if he could come look at the trailer to make sure I gave him the correct info, he was there in less than 30 mins. He check everything out and informed me we also need to replace the spring on the other side I had not noticed. I was able to move the trailer to KOA storage on Saturday and we decided to pack up the truck and head home. Fred repaired the spring and short part of the propane line that got pitched by the broken spring. After he repaired the trailer and moved it to his place so I would not have to pay storage fees. The pricing was great more then reasonable, I was expecting quite a bit more. We drove to his place early the following Saturday picked it up and headed home. Fred came well recommended from a neighbor in our RV park. He was very friendly and accommodating from the get go. After explaining the issues with our water heater to him, we arranged a convenient time to meet. After checking out the water heater, he explained my options and quoted me for the parts and work. His quote was extremely reasonable and he was transparent about his parts pricing. While Fred was replacing my water heater, he noticed a few issues with my piping and took it upon himself to correct them. Fred took the time to make sure he did the job correctly. On the date I am discussing it was 106 degrees when I had a wheel/tire completely shear off of my triple axle toy hauler. It was a Saturday around 2 p.m. The lug bolts actually sheared off from going over one of our fine California bridges outside Barstow. Anyway, when I finally realized this had happened (stopped to let my dogs pee) I was all the way out to Rasor Rd., close to Baker. I found Fred on Yelp and saw the excellent reviews. I called him, sent him photos of the damaged hub, and waited. Within ten minutes he called me and told me he had to go to his shop where he believed he had a hub that was new and would fit. He told me that it would be about 1 1/2 hours before he could get to me. I was stuck and asked him to come. Man was I so pleasantly surprised when about the time Fred had promised, he came rolling in. This guy knows his stuff and has a truck with every tool I think one needs to do any RV repair. In about 45 minutes my toy hauler had six wheels and tires again. He had cleaned and lubed my bearings on the wheel that had to be replaced, offering me new bearings but advising he felt mine were in good condition. That saved me some money when he could have made a little more. He then inspected all my other wheels for tightness any potential problems. He took my credit card for payment on the spot and prior to leaving asked me if I wanted him to order me a new tire and rim to replace the one lost. I did, damn he just made the whole situation completely better. I am telling you, if you are anywhere between Mojave and Baker and you have a problem with your RV, there is no one else but Fred to call! read more

Took my 31ft c class toy hauler in from a good Sam tow from Baker. Accepted it in late night due to arranging tow took forever. Tow was a great company also. Allowed me to unload what I needed, plugged it In to preserve my refrigerator. Told him, I wasn't in a hurry. Explained what two different Mobil companies in Vegas has done, what happened and what left me stranded. He replaced fuel pump, had to put drive shaft back together after poor tow guy had to deal with a Brocken bolt and other rusted screws. Also had him tune up and oil change the generator. Went back to pick up the Rv, got almost to the Hwy. check engine light came on. Told me to stay where I was, he rushed over, ran diagnostic, then started checking stuff. Turns out air filter from oil change three weeks before had broken. Told me to meet him at parts store. He replaced it. How is THAT for follow through!!! Got home safe and sound. I will be returning for follow up work, I want done. Well worth the drive. Thank you so much. read more
