The food overall is okay. It suffices the craving for Chinese food however, I feel it's missing flavor. The shrimp fried rice doesn't taste or look fried. The Lomein tasted bland but we liked that it had big chunks of meat. The General Chicken was good. The food overall was hot which we appreciated. The place looks nice and clean. FRESH CLEAN CUTE I like everything about this place. MUCH better than I expected. Wontons are made fresh and soup is delicious. Although, they mix shrimp in with the pork. Such a great lunch spot! Food was delicious,made to order,and was brought out in a timely matter. We were already fans of the Donut shop hamburgers served next door so I guess I shouldn't have been surprised when they opened a fabulous chinese restaurant next door. My hubby loves general Tso and this is in his top 2 favorite places for general Tso chicken (his favorite being qing qing in Texas city but this is a very, very close #2). My favorite is the wonton soup. I would put their wontons up against any other wonton in Houston, maybe Texas. I've eaten wonton soup all over the USA and these are the best! The noodle is very thin & tender and just melts in your mouth, not thick and gummy like most you get. The broth is simply the best. The filling, OMGoodness that filling! I can tell there's pork and herbs but I almost want to say there may be shrimp too? Maybe or maybe not. I don't know but I do know the filling is perfect. My only complaint is you only get 6 in a large order, but that's okay because if there were more I'd probably hurt myself because I wouldn't be able to stop eating them. I usually get 2 large soups to go and get 2-3 meals from each. Although the wontons are thin and light, they withstand several days in the fridge without getting mushy or gummy (unlike other leftover wonton soups). Enough about the phenomenal soup already! The fried rice is the best! Vegetable egg rolls are what others call spring rolls. Spring rolls are the cold rolls with noodles & shrimp in them and are also good. Hubby loves their pork egg rolls. I've not had anything there that isn't delicious. The best part is they make everything to order so it's incredibly fresh. The staff is super friendly, everything is clean (speaking from a germaphobe's perspective), even during this virus crud I never stopped going in for take-out. It is a must stop any time I'm passing through Dayton. We will happily drive the 17 miles for their food (and there is a Chinese restaurant much closer to us in Cleveland that we DO NOT eat at because it's just gross). OH! There's a complaint! I wish it was closer to us. Nevertheless it's closer than any other really good Chinese restaurant. I would drive right past any other restaurant for their wonton soup! Customer service was five stars. I payed like 8 dollars for shrimp dish and thats what they gave me 8 shrimp. Not too different from other restaurantes in that aspect, but I felt like tipping because the guy there was so nice. He suggested what I should order . The coconut water there was really really good, only had sulfites added but no other artificial preservatives or anything like that which makes it amazing. Okay, the place is pretty small but there were a few tables there its pretty far from where i live but I would so go back there because of the customer service. This wasn't the best Chinese take out I've ever had but it was far from bad. The service was awesome. They are very kind people and always make sure you have everything you need. The food was pretty good though I recommend a non-breaded chicken like the Kung Pao over breaded chicken like the General Tsos. The breaded chicken seemed to be more mush than crunch but the flavor was good. The Kung Pao chicken is very tasty and avoids the mush problem that the General Tsos falls victim to. Both meals had a fair share of tasty fresh vegetables which definitely added a lot. The Lo Mein is pretty killer. All in all I must say that it was a great experience and I will return. Love this place! They are the most kind people. Food is delicious. My husband craves this place every week. Great take out, very clean. They have always taken good care of us.
