This used to be my favorite Chinese restaurant locally, but the quality has really went downhill. Ordered a DoorDash from them tonight, House Special and Moo Goo Gai Pan. The House Special was ok, nothing much to say about it, it was just ok. The Moo Goo was drowning in sauce and bland. We also ordered the Steamed Dumplings and the Cheese Puffs. I was a customer here a couple of days ago, and I noticed the manager which's name is Rosa trying to make jokes with her employees but the "jokes" were harsh comments directed towards employees and they were said in front of customers, I also noticed there was food sitting on the counter outside the kitchen uncovered, and when I went to pay the food was still there, another thing I have noticed in my experience there was roaches crawling around the place. read more

I have lived in houston half my life, and traveled quite a bit but the liberty china wok still has the best fried rice I've ever had, hands down. When I cook fried rice I shoot to recreate the thai basil fried rice from libertys china wok. Although mine is good I have not been able to master a total recreation. FYI My other favorite from this restaurant is the Vietnamese egg rolls. Throughout my years of random stops at this restaurant the food has always been served in large portions, and extremely hot(heat not spice, but yes spice as well). It would not surprise me if everything was made to order. The appearance from the outside is not appealing, it use to be a dairy queen. The inside is ok, and I've never had a problem with staff. If any restaurant is able to stick it out in liberty tx for years it speaks volumes, other than fast food! Good job China wok! read more

Customer service is spot on. Food is ok not that great or bad. The right place for a quick dinner near home.

The food always is hot and tastes great, but often the orange chicken, General chicken, and Kung Pao chicken is covered in sauce. Other than that, the sushi is delicious and affordable. The only two downsides, which are pretty major, are they stop serving soups way too early and the inconsistency in their seating times. Some nights it's an hour before closing other times it's 30 minutes before closing and it is ridiculous that they can't be consistent. read more

Great low mein, egg rolls, wonton soup, and sushi! Sometimes they have gross people working the drive through, but it's a small town and it's hard to get nice people in those kinds of jobs. The drive through sometimes takes a while because the food is made to order (which is good), but you can call your order ahead, so it will go faster! It is really hard to find food like this in small towns in Texas. I live in Houston where we have tons of selection when it comes to all sorts of Asian restaurants, and I was very pleasantly surprised to come here and actually get GREAT Vietnamese eggrolls, Thai curry, pad thai, and sushi...all through a drive-thru! Some of the sushi is actually better than what you would experience in some Houston restaurants. I always make it a point to stop here on the way home when I am in the area. There's another restaurant by the same name in Houston which doesn't have nearly as many awesome options and is not as good, which is disappointing. Love this place! read more

Certainly a pretty good place to get chinese food in texas country. The place was clean, had some nice and common dishes to order from, and was cooked fresh and not overdone. What more could you want besides being in china town, which we weren't. I will come here again for sure. read more
