I wish they had a better estimation system because it left us feeling underwhelmed. Being HANGRY with two young kids is not fun. The food: Kid's pancakes They were just okay. Nothing special. My 5 year old son ate the fruit (a piece of strawberry and a grape cut in halves) and bacon. Only a few of the pancakes were eaten. I tasted it myself and didn't care for it. Kid's waffles These were a winner!! The waffles were fluffy and yummy! We asked for fruit instead of the eggs since my daughter doesn't like eggs. I can confirm that these were legit waffles, because what kind of a parent would I be if I didn't do a food quality test? Crab cake benedict This was the highlight of the entire family order!! My husband is a super picky eater. With that said, this dish did not disappoint. Was it worth waiting 80 minutes for? Probably not. Would it have been worth waiting 40 minutes for? Absolutely! The eggs were cooked to perfection! The crab cake was plentiful and full of delicious flavor. The potatoes were the weak link on the plate. They could have used more seasoning. Bacon Avocado Scramble It was average without the green chili sauce. Once I added that delicious sauce, it saved the meal. I was already hungry and disgruntled from having to wait so long that my first bite without the sauce made me immediately regret sticking out the long wait. Once that sauce was added, it made me feel less jaded. The potatoes could have used more flavor. Unsweetened peach tea Great flavor! The peach didn't have an overly artificial taste. The tea strength was perfect. Coffee Excellent bold flavor. Not overpoweringly strong. Just right. The service: The service was good given how busy it was. The waitress was friendly and attentive. Refills were offered. Plates were cleared promptly. We didn't feel rushed. Overall experience: It was a good dining experience. It wasn't worth waiting 80 minutes. We would have picked a different restaurant if they had been more accurate and transparent about the wait time. I would say the food is slightly above average, but definitely not one of those places where people should waste an hour and a half of their day waiting for. If we are in the area again, we MIGHT give it another shot. Added note: The 4 seater table felt super crowded due to all of the items on the center of the table. There was a flower vase, a basket of sugars, a bowl of creamer, a bottle of salsa, salt and pepper shakers, a basket of jelly, and a little advertisement stand. With the pitcher of water and the coffee pot added to the mix, , it made it uncomfortable and claustrophobic.

It has a modern, bright, aesthetic vibe with marble-style tables, clean decor, and a great atmosphere to sit and hang out. Visually, it checks all the boxes for a trendy brunch spot. The staff were very kind and went out of their way to be helpful and attentive to all guests. Unfortunately, the food and value simply don't match the ambiance. We ordered two straightforward breakfast plates and iced coffees, and the bill came out to around $40--which feels way too expensive for what actually ends up on your plate. The first dish was a basic breakfast sandwich on an English muffin served with a small side ramekin of kale salad. While the presentation was neat, the sandwich itself was fairly standard and underwhelming for the price tag. The second plate was a traditional breakfast layout featuring scrambled eggs, toast, bacon, jam, and the same small kale side. The eggs were cooked fine and the bacon was crisp, but there was nothing unique or memorable about the flavors to justify charging high-end prices for staple breakfast ingredients. All in all, while the aesthetic and atmosphere are definitely inviting, paying $40 for two plain breakfast plates leaves a sour taste. For our meal, we ordered two Chicken & Waffles plates, a Blue Corn Lavender Waffle, and a kids' plate. The Chicken & Waffles were the highlight of the meal, offering a satisfying balance of sweet and savory flavors. The Blue Corn Lavender Waffle was a unique touch and a fun way to try something distinctly New Mexican. Neither my wife nor I cared for the drip coffee, so we asked a staff member if we could swap it out for double espressos. They were happy to accommodate us, and the espresso was a significant improvement. The service was friendly, and the staff made a positive first impression from the phone call all the way through our visit. For our family, the total came to about $80, which felt a little steep. We ended up eating inside since the patio tables were either occupied or unavailable (due to a sleeping homeless person). The restaurant is housed in a renovated older home, and they've done a nice job making the most of the space. One of my favorite touches was the collection of retro waffle makers displayed along the walls, which added a fun, nostalgic charm to the atmosphere. Weck's is a great local restaurant but, I have to say, after trying several different locations, the Osuna location has the best atmosphere, food quality and staff. Everyone greets you with a smile and makes you feel welcome. Ana was my waitress today and she took very good care of us. She explained new items on the menu and was very patient while we slowly decided what to order. Luis, the manager, also visited our table to ensure the food and server quality. Sandra has also been our waitress in previous visits and always has a smile on her face. The staff at this location is really amazing. I don't know that it is, but feels that way. Eggs and hash browns were good. Sorry to say the biscuits were quite dry, they kind of sucked the moisture right out of your mouth, even after you slathered them in butter. My wife's Denver omelette was good, not exceptional. She liked the chunky bell peppers and ham. She said the same thing about the biscuits. Service was good, we didn't sit long before the waitress arrived, the food came quick, and they got our check quickly as well. My waitress watched our table and kept my coffee warm.
