Classic waffle with strawberry sauce on the side. Classic Weck's breakfast with eggs, bacon, and hash browns

This is a great place if you are looking for "classic breakfast" options as well as "southwest style" breakfast. This should be a "go to" place for anyone who is from "out of town" and wants just a classic comfort food style breakfast. The atmosphere mimics a classic "hometown diner" style ambience, where every one feels welcome. To top off, talk about PHENOMENAL service. Our waitress Ruby was extremely fast, knowledgeable and patient with my mom and I. She was friendly and welcoming. I highly recommend for anyone who wants to eat good food and enjoy a "hometown diner" style experience. We will definitely be making another trip to this restaurant again.

Another GREAT Weck's experience! We visited on a Saturday morning at 10:30 and had no wait for a table of 4!!! We requested a table on the edge and were granted our request. The food was really good! The service was perfect - our server was attentive and polite. I recommend every Weck's location I have visited!! *Beware the parking at this location. If you are pulling a trailer this would not be a location to stop at. If your party has those who struggle with walking you should drop them off at the door before parking. This location is in a strip mall location so there are lots of busy businesses.

Wecks is a personal favorite. Service is always personal and great. Food is delicious enough that we make Wecks a stop whenever we travel in New Mexico Especially the chili verde and pork. With eggs it is the best!!! Also the papas with chili verde omg I love it. Affordable as well.

My second time here and it was very comfortable for breakfast. My server, Jessica recommended the waffles so I decided to try their waffles. It was light and delicious. It came w 1 egg and 2 pieces of crispy bacon all cooked perfectly. Coffee was fresh so my breakfast was very good. Prices were reasonable so I'll be back for sure. Man more menu items to try out.

First time here and the food was so delicious!! Sad I'm only here for 2 days in New Mexico and I would love to try other menu when I come back in the future ! Service was great and amazing people ! The best ever breakfast I had so far in New Mexico ! And it is very clean and well organized inside ! The food was so good that it got stuck to my braces and I can taste it all day !!

Severely burned rye toast. Almost no butter either.

I wish they had a better estimation system because it left us feeling underwhelmed. Being HANGRY with two young kids is not fun. The food: Kid's pancakes They were just okay. Nothing special. My 5 year old son ate the fruit (a piece of strawberry and a grape cut in halves) and bacon. Only a few of the pancakes were eaten. I tasted it myself and didn't care for it. Kid's waffles These were a winner!! The waffles were fluffy and yummy! We asked for fruit instead of the eggs since my daughter doesn't like eggs. I can confirm that these were legit waffles, because what kind of a parent would I be if I didn't do a food quality test? Crab cake benedict This was the highlight of the entire family order!! My husband is a super picky eater. With that said, this dish did not disappoint. Was it worth waiting 80 minutes for? Probably not. Would it have been worth waiting 40 minutes for? Absolutely! The eggs were cooked to perfection! The crab cake was plentiful and full of delicious flavor. The potatoes were the weak link on the plate. They could have used more seasoning. Bacon Avocado Scramble It was average without the green chili sauce. Once I added that delicious sauce, it saved the meal. I was already hungry and disgruntled from having to wait so long that my first bite without the sauce made me immediately regret sticking out the long wait. Once that sauce was added, it made me feel less jaded. The potatoes could have used more flavor. Unsweetened peach tea Great flavor! The peach didn't have an overly artificial taste. The tea strength was perfect. Coffee Excellent bold flavor. Not overpoweringly strong. Just right. The service: The service was good given how busy it was. The waitress was friendly and attentive. Refills were offered. Plates were cleared promptly. We didn't feel rushed. Overall experience: It was a good dining experience. It wasn't worth waiting 80 minutes. We would have picked a different restaurant if they had been more accurate and transparent about the wait time. I would say the food is slightly above average, but definitely not one of those places where people should waste an hour and a half of their day waiting for. If we are in the area again, we MIGHT give it another shot. Added note: The 4 seater table felt super crowded due to all of the items on the center of the table. There was a flower vase, a basket of sugars, a bowl of creamer, a bottle of salsa, salt and pepper shakers, a basket of jelly, and a little advertisement stand. With the pitcher of water and the coffee pot added to the mix, , it made it uncomfortable and claustrophobic.

The parking is a bit crazy, they do have someone trying to help direct traffic through the parking lot. If you don't want to brave that though, there's plenty of street parking. It's busy but there's a lot of indoor and outdoor seating and the turnover pace is pretty good. Things can be a bit loud if you hit the crowded times, but really it's a popular spot for good reason. I got the sweet potato hash and it had the perfect mix of veggies and eggs and was cooked just right. I also tried one of their tea blends and it really hit the spot. It has a modern, bright, aesthetic vibe with marble-style tables, clean decor, and a great atmosphere to sit and hang out. Visually, it checks all the boxes for a trendy brunch spot. The staff were very kind and went out of their way to be helpful and attentive to all guests. Unfortunately, the food and value simply don't match the ambiance. We ordered two straightforward breakfast plates and iced coffees, and the bill came out to around $40--which feels way too expensive for what actually ends up on your plate. The first dish was a basic breakfast sandwich on an English muffin served with a small side ramekin of kale salad. While the presentation was neat, the sandwich itself was fairly standard and underwhelming for the price tag. The second plate was a traditional breakfast layout featuring scrambled eggs, toast, bacon, jam, and the same small kale side. The eggs were cooked fine and the bacon was crisp, but there was nothing unique or memorable about the flavors to justify charging high-end prices for staple breakfast ingredients.  All in all, while the aesthetic and atmosphere are definitely inviting, paying $40 for two plain breakfast plates leaves a sour taste. If you're looking for an impressive food experience to match the high price point, you might end up

While the wait to order and get a table was lengthy, it was absolutely worth it! We ordered the huevos rancheros and blue corn lemon pancakes, and both were fantastic. The huevos rancheros featured traditional New Mexico red chile alongside a delicious tomatillo salsa, offering a great combination of flavors. The blue corn lemon pancakes were equally impressive, topped with the most amazing lemon curd, whipped cream, and fresh fruit. For drinks, we had a honey latte and a double espresso, both of which were strong, flavorful, and well worth ordering. The place is a bit cozy, but not too cramped. However, if you're wanting someplace more private, look elsewhere. Despite the long wait, the friendly welcome and outstanding food made this a great experience. For our meal, we ordered two Chicken & Waffles plates, a Blue Corn Lavender Waffle, and a kids' plate. The Chicken & Waffles were the highlight of the meal, offering a satisfying balance of sweet and savory flavors. The Blue Corn Lavender Waffle was a unique touch and a fun way to try something distinctly New Mexican. Neither my wife nor I cared for the drip coffee, so we asked a staff member if we could swap it out for double espressos. They were happy to accommodate us, and the espresso was a significant improvement. The service was friendly, and the staff made a positive first impression from the phone call all the way through our visit. For our family, the total came to about $80, which felt a little steep. We ended up eating inside since the patio tables were either occupied or unavailable (due to a sleeping homeless person). The restaurant is housed in a renovated older home, and they've done a nice job making the most of the space. One of my favorite touches was the collection of retro waffle makers displayed along the walls, which added a fun, nostalgic charm to the atmosphere. Overall, it was a pleasant experience, and I'd happily return to explore more of the menu.

I had to pick between savory and sweet, and the menu is huge with lots of options plus build your own! I went for savory and got it with goat cheese and spinach (built my own). It was delightful. The blue corn is just a tinge sweet so was an interesting mix. The waffle is a decent size but is super filling and dense. I'll have to try some sweet waffles or some different waffle bases next time! That said there are lots of gluten free options as well, so if that's for you, then don't hesitate to come check it out you won't be disappointed. There is indoor and outdoor seating, though in general the place is small-ish and can get crowded during busy times. Parking is also a bit of an adventure, but so is anywhere in that area.
