The timing and sequence didn't sit right. And for someone more vulnerable--especially an older adult--this could have felt even worse. Yesterday, Sunday, Info Center showed the car was operating at Reduced Acceleration - Drive with Care. Code was reduced oil pressure. Call dealership at open Monday morning, Was told to bring car in right away and the would swap out with a loaner. While checking in at dealer, was told they are 30 days out and they will squeeze in at some point. Kicker was they want to charge me $48 per day for loaner until they can verify there is an issue. Called Weber Chevrolet and Bommarito GMC and was told to bring car, they would get in right away and provide a loaner. Guess where we will be buying future vehicles and having service done. As soon as we pulled out of bay check engine light was on.
