Came in for an issue with onstar system, dropped car off at 9am and was told it should take about an hour or so. Got picked up by a friend, went home and never received a call from dealership or service guy..had to call back to find out status, was advisesd they needed to order a part, so i picked vehicle up after 4 or so hours with no communication from dealership. Returned to dealership once part came in. Made appointment for 9am, again told it should take 45min to 1 hour so I waited Hour fifteen passes and nothing, so I contact them and told need another few minutes. Another 45 minutes go by and nothing, now told at least another hour or so. Absolutely no upfront honest communication by this dealership, expecially my service guy Brian Wilson. I would not have waited in their sh$$ty waiting room if told how long it was actually going to take. I will never return to this dealership, only went to them cause close to home. Will happily drive to Advantage Chevy in Bolingbrook or Naperville Chevrolet in the future. read more

I had a 12 o'clock appointment with Kevin Leon on March 11, 2025. I was interested in a black 2024 Corvette that was advertised online. A day earlier Kevin emailed me the deal sheet when I requested it. All the information was disclosed and transparent. All the numbers matched the deal that was advertised online. I arrived early and I did not expect to make a purchase that day. I intended to get some information and I was going to get his business card and leave. I'd think about the potential deal and if I felt comfortable with it I would come back and make the buy later. When I got there I was early so I waited until Kevin got there. He went to the trouble of coming in early when he was notified that I was already there. I liked dealing with Kevin because he was honest and up front about everything. It all comes down to principal, rate, and time. How much are you putting down? Do you have a trade? I independently verified the monthly payment amount based on the total vehicle price less the down payment. When the paperwork came back from the finance guy their number was within $1 of my estimate. There were no add ons, surprise fees, no warranty got slipped in without my authorization. These guys were completely honest. I knew the best case interest rate and I knew I qualified for it. The approved interest rate came in exactly where it should have been and nobody was trying to shave additional profit through the financing. I was amazed. The deal sheet pictured below is the first one that he emailed to me the day prior to the sale. He updated the deal sheet to include the GM Supplier discount the next day. I did not take a picture of that one. But the accurate figures were included in the final sales contract. The advertisement also said additional savings were available with a Costco membership. Kevin helped me get the approval code through their website. His help was also greatly appreciated with the GM Supplier discount that was available through my employer. I had to wait a while to get the insurance straightened out because I was an out of state customer and law requires a specific policy on the vehicle instead of just a quick approval from your insurer. It took a while for all the documentation to go through but Kevin has done all this before and he made it easier. Just make sure your phone is fully charged when you get there for all the downloading pdfs, confirmation emails, and phone conversations with insurance agents. Finishing up with the signatures in the finance department went smoothly. There were no hiccups in the paperwork. There was no unnecessary waiting and there was no high pressure sales tactics for additional warranty or service. I was pleasantly surprised after dealing with a different Chevy dealership earlier that day. Webb Chevrolet made the sale and I'm still happy with it the next day. read more

Disappointed with my recent experience at Webb Chevrolet in Plainfield. I had a 3:00 PM service appointment for my 2018 Silverado and arrived early at 2:00 PM. I was told the wait would be about 1 hour and 20 minutes -- instead, I didn't get my truck back until 4:12 PM. If appointments don't help manage wait times, what's the point? Before service, I made it very clear that I did not want the truck washed. That request was ignored -- they washed it anyway. On top of that, a plastic steering wheel protector was left tossed on my center console, and a wet paper floor mat was left in the truck. I took pictures of how my truck was returned because I was so frustrated by the lack of care. This isn't just about the wait or the wash -- it's about not listening to the customer and returning the vehicle in a sloppy state. I'm not here to bash the dealership -- I've used them before -- but this visit made me question whether my business is really valued. I hope management takes this feedback seriously and makes changes. I'd like to continue coming here, but only if things improve. read more

My mom brought my Dad's, who recently passed, 2020 Silverado for a service brake light. The dealership told her she needed new brakes and rotors. She agreed to let them perform the service and then was hit with a $1800 bill. $1800 for pads and rotors is beyond ridiculous! I firmly believe they took advantage of an elderly woman who didn't know any better. I only found out after the fact. Even being a dealership, and parts being twice as much as they should be, it works out to be around $1000 in labor for a what is a 2 hour job. By far one of the most expensive dealerships out there. Overcharge on just about every service offered other than oil changes. Do not get any work done there unless under warranty. $189 to "diagnose" issues including a check engine light. (Autozine does this for free). Make sure you get second opinion on anything they quote - you will find thir cost to always be high. Top it off they charge an extra 1% if you pay with a credit card! Only dealership I've ever been to that does that. Lastly I asked for an estimate on the value on my used chevy and the sales guy said we can give you $500. KBB value was almost $5K. Came for an oil change / tire rotation package. I'm used to going to the Webb Chevy in Oak Lawn for my service routine. I tried this place out finally since I moved. Getting an appointment is easy but navigating through their website was trickier than usual than what I'm accustomed too. Service was really quick and swift! I loved it. Great selection of used cars to check out while I was waiting. Definitely better than hanging out in the waiting room. Staff was very friendly. When buying my car new in 2021, I purchased the extended warranty. When getting my oil changed in May 2025 (Which I had to pay for since the oil changes were only covered until Feb.), John told me that a small door ding was covered by warranty that expires in Feb. 2026. He said that the manager approved, and they will call me back to schedule the repair. After waiting patiently for a return call, I called back a week later. John said that paperwork was right in front of him and would call me right back after lunch. He didn't. I called again the next day, again he said he would call me right back. I called back and he said it wasn't covered. Talked to a manager-that didn't know what he was talking about. I went to body shop that said it was a dentless repair, and a little spot, the size of a pinhead, could be buffed out. I am now in the process of dealing with General Motors. I told them that I wanted my money back for the extended warranty as that the dealership hasn't held their part of the agreement. As a pensioned former employee of GM, I normally wouldn't complain about a dealership, but I wouldn't buy anything from this dealership. They give you the run-around, and do not anything. Please listen to me a run to another brand vehicle. I have purchased 6 vehicles (including immediate family members) from Webb. My mother in law's vehicle was bought new in 2016. After being quite sick for a couple of years and barely using the car my son got it after her passing. We have found that the vehicle leaks when raining. Chevy knows of this issue and has a bulletin stating that repairs need to be done on the third brake light. My vehicle is under by miles but out of the bulletin by time. Out of 4k in repairs they will only pick up 2300. Webb will do nothing else to help with assistance for a problem which they are well aware of after purchasing 6 new vehicles. Please know there is no longer any benefit for loyalty to a brand or dealership. They will sell you a vehicle ,take your money and say that is all they can do when more is needed on there end. When you think of shady dealers these are your guys. Found out after I took my vehicle in for a check engine light issue to a shop after 6 months to find out it was in an accident that was not disclosed to us. Salvage yard struts were put on the vehicle and dry wall screws were used to keep certain body parts in place. Called and spoke with Devin who only gave his advice and opinions on the matter. Did not even get an apology or a single solution/offer of help anything on that matter. There's More to it to list of course. When I asked about this charge I was told it is a non negotiable accessory charge added to all their new vehicles. I asked the salesman what are the accessories added? After a brief run around I was finally told the accessory charge was for sanitizing vehicle due to COVID-19. $1500 to sanitize vehicle? I had my 19 Silverado in for service, truck wouldn't recognize it's in Park. So after a week of me calling for updates they finally repaired the issue. My issue is the fact the service advisors are rude like you're there wasting their time, and even more rude after they tried to squeeze $148 out of me for a diagnostic fee. 20k on the dash they charged GM over 500 and still want 148 out of me, not going to happen. Good luck getting a service advisor to call you back they're either on the phone or at lunch all hours of the day. I get my truck back the steering column plastic was broken, smudges everywhere. No pride in their work or customer satisfaction. Go somewhere else. read more
