They need 35 psi in the winter because the rims are aluminum and cause the tires to lose air in the extreme cold. Within two and half weeks, I received a warning from Onstar that my tires were at 28 psi with one at 27 psi. They did not lose all that air in that amount of time but were not inflated properly per my request. I took in my older Chevy Malibu which had dashboard lights going on including check engine light and service engine soon light. The tachometer was also not working. Auto Zone read the codes for FREE and I took that printout in with the car. They kept the car for three days. All they did was clear the codes, did not fix the tachometer and by the time I went a mile away from VIP toward Rt. 30, the check engine light was on! This car is older but always well taken care of and garage kept. No attention to detail plus I was charge $99 for nothing vs. Auto Zone putting the car on their computer to test for codes for free. I will not be back to VIP ever.

I strongly discourage anyone from doing business with Lifetime Automotive. My experience was…read moreextremely disappointing and left me feeling that honesty and transparency were not priorities. I paid thousands of dollars for repairs with the expectation that my vehicle would be properly diagnosed and repaired. Instead, I continued to experience problems after the work was completed. Throughout the process, it seemed that new issues were identified as we went along, making it difficult to have confidence in the accuracy of the diagnosis or the recommendations I was given. I was also disappointed by the lack of detailed documentation on my invoice. For a repair bill of this size, customers should receive clear information about the brands and part numbers of the components that were installed. That level of transparency should be standard. As a woman, I left feeling that my concerns were not taken seriously and that I was treated differently than I would expect any customer to be treated. Rather than feeling informed and respected, I felt pressured to accept recommendations without receiving the level of explanation and documentation I deserved. Professional auto repair shops earn trust through honesty, transparency, and quality workmanship. Unfortunately that was not my experience with Lifetime Automotive. I WOULD NOT return, and I cannot recommend this business based on my experience.

They were incredibly low maintenance when it came to me explaining the issue, dropping off my car, and contacting me right away with a diagnostic and a realistic quote. I'm so glad I went to t&t auto care for a second opinion. As a woman, I appreciate an auto shop whose staff doesn't talk down to me and is polite through-and-through. Shout out to Gavin for understanding my frustrations with the dealership and providing top tier customer service despite how busy his business is.

They advised me that to get into the trans and change that, they should replace the whole transmission for a couple hundred more, otherwise they couldn't guarantee the work. And they charged $150 for this "diagnosis". They wanted thousands of dollars for a new transmission, and I was stuck because I couldn't take the emissions test to renew my plates with a check engine light on. Brought it to Tony's Transmissions, and he replaced the sensor in a few days for a few hundred dollars. I can't remember the exact amount because I paid cash and it was about a year ago, but I just saw his business pop up when I was doing a search and remembered that I should have left him a review back then. He really did great work. Check engine light was off, car passed emissions, and we drove it for another year before selling it a friend for his teenage son. Car is still running strong.
