I waited before updating my review; they never pick up the phone! I ordered on Ubereats and was notified they were out of an item. Uber must had a glitch bc I couldn't directly update it but restaurant never picked up so whole order was cancelled. I did get to re order but pick up the phone. Then a few days later I attempted to stop by for breakfast before work. They were supposed to open at 7:30 am but the person there didn't acknowledge the people there and started putting out the tables. When another customer asked if we could come in he then stated they would be opening at 8 am. No apology or anything.

Cute spot in the MIMO area. Outside seating has shade & inside its warm & quaint. I ordered a Cafe con Leche & when I went to add my sugar the cute art was a nice touch. The coffee was freshly brewed and delicious! I ordered 3 croissants - Apple, Dulcet de Leche & Guava & Cheese. I was happy to give a try to a new filled croissant. It was like a nice savory piece of apple pie without all the heavy sugar. The Dulce de Leche was okay but I am biased with another favorite bakery in Aventura. As for the guava & Cheese I truly enjoyed it warmed up the next day with my own Cafe con Leche. They were most definitely fresh & for the price ($4.75) they were worth it. Service was quick & welcoming. The place was nice & clean. The decor was a somewhat rustic & warm. Will definitely be returning if in the area.

The food was delicious I got the breakfast tacos and friends got omelets and the breakfast plate The waitress was helpful and nice/ we ordered cafe con leches and a turmeric cocoa latte and two iced mochas to go. They had free lemon water and sold art that has French bulldogs on it as well as chocolates! Street parking and outdoor seating with umbrellas

Great neighborhood spot. Excellent fresh pastries made on site. Good variety of traditional and healthy breakfast and lunch options. Friendly service. What else could you ask for?

My new go-to bakery! Sooooo YUMMY! This is a cute little bakery by Mimo district. Had the empanada Arabe ( ground meet with species) its baked to perfection. We also had the dulce de leche croissant but the white chocolate coconut was absolutely delicious, never had a croissant like this before. The coffee was good and service was great. Prices are also fair. Will come back for brunch or even dinner!

My favorite breakfast spot. Their croissants are my main reason to go there haha! The chocolate and cookies and cream are my all time favorite! I always order a baguette sandwich as well cause they bake all their breads in house that same morning so everything is fresh and delicious.

Went to meet up a gf of mine who literally lives a few blocks away from the cute little hole on the wall as it was recommended to her. Let me tell you my dish was absolutely delicious! It was actually one of thee best French toast I have had since living here! Oh, her's look just as good! Yes definitely will be back!

Amazing spot for breakfast! I visited this place the first time while they had a sort of pop up store in Brickell area. Unfortunately it seems to be closed permanently now. I had an apple croissant and it was superb! And this is why I decided to go to the location in Biscayne Boulevard. The food is amazing. This time I tried the pancakes. The taste is wonderful you can eat them without the syrup (Which I did) and of course after my first experience, I wanted again an apple croissant but unfortunately they were sold out. What I didn't like was the coffee. I normally order coffee with non dairy milk and it is OK but this time was too watery and no coffee flavor at all. Probably just a bad day. Sitting may be challenging in peak hours and even when the place seems cozy I think the chairs are not the most comfortable. Service is great, but it could be slow. They changed our coffee once we gave them feedback. Prices are OK. $20 average per person. I will come back to try some of the salty dishes and hopefully I can get an apple croissant again.

Delicious little gem! Came here on Monday midday. Started with a cafe bon bon and a macchiato. Both delicious! The coffee is very high quality. Kids got a Nutella croissant and cookies. They were very happy with them. I tried the Nutella croissant and it was great! Hubby got the breakfast tacos and loved them! He said they were loaded and a good portion. I had the burger and fries and they were great! Looking at the menu, I can't wait to come back! The service was also great! Very friendly and attentive. 10/10!

The place is small but has a nice ambiance. You order at the counter and someone bring you the food to your table. The food was good and plentiful. Egg Benedict with seasonal fruit. Yum! Wait did I forget the iced latte....Yum again.

I tried the pistachio latte, which was delicious - it wasn't too sweet, but the pistachio creme and actual nuts added some fun to the beverage. The cookie croissant, warmed up, was decadent and such a crazy sweet treat to start the meal. I opted for the Israeli breakfast - it was just hearty and everything was so fresh and flavorful. I love the halloumi cheese, tomatoes and olives in particular. My husband went for the truffle croque madame and it was massive - he had to take half of it home, which he almost never does! Service was quick, without us feeling rushed. We will definitely be back to try more of the menu!

First off, the service really stood out to me. Everyone was so welcoming, attentive and genuinely nice. I especially loved seeing how much the staff helped each other. You could literally see the teamwork throughout the restaurant, and I love that because it makes such a difference in the overall experience. Everything flowed, the food came out in a timely manner, and we always felt taken care of. We originally sat outside because the patio is adorable, but Miami started Miami-ing and it was just a little too hot for us lol, so we moved inside. They were super accommodating about it. Also, a little warning from your Yelp friend: downtown Miami parking is atrocious if you don't know the area. Save yourself the character development and Uber. Nowwww, the food. I ordered the passionfruit smoothie, pain au chocolat and the steak & eggs. When I tell you the steak & eggs is a REAL meal, come hungry! It's tender short ribs over roasted potatoes with two sunny-side-up eggs, cilantro dressing and a delicious sauce on the side. The short ribs were incredibly soft and tender, almost like a brisket situation, and the portion of meat was HUGE. Honestly, it could easily be shared. I ate about half before my stomach politely told me we were finished and the rest came home with me. The potatoes were delicious, the eggs were cooked perfectly, and I really appreciated all the different flavors in the dish. Everything worked so well together. Definitely not your basic little steak-and-eggs brunch situation. The pain au chocolat was approximately the size of my head... and I have a big head, so please understand the measurements here lol. It was really good! I do wish it had been served warm and had a little more chocolate inside, but I'd absolutely order it again. Next time I'd probably get it by itself with a latte or hot chocolate and have myself a cute little pastry moment. And the passionfruit smoothie? Soooo good. Refreshing, flavorful and not overly sweet, which I appreciated because we don't need all that extra sugar. We have figures to watch around here. My mom really enjoyed herself too, which made the experience even better. Between the food, generous portions, cute atmosphere and especially the service, Café Bastille definitely gave us a reason to come back. Until next brunch... mwah! S/O Jeffrey our wonderful server!

I ordered the Truffle Bun with Avocado, and I have to say, it was really good. The Flat White was also good. My friends had the Guava & Cheese Danish and the Salmon Eggs Benedict, and everyone seemed to enjoy their food. I would give 3 stars for the food and the nice outdoor seating. It had just rained, so sitting outside was actually really pleasant--not too hot or humid. The other 2 stars I'm taking off are for the service. The servers never really smiled and seemed like they didn't want to be there. We honestly felt like we were bothering them whenever we asked for something. Maybe they were just having an off day, but a little friendliness would have made a big difference. The food was good and the place itself was nice. I just wish the servers were a little more welcoming and pleasant.

My first bite was of the Oreo pancakes and Oh.My.Gosh. I couldn't even believe that was happening that I was eating the most amazing pancake in the world. The pancakes were super fluffy and somehow tasted like there was butter throughout the cake itself. It did not need any syrup. The Oreo flavor was bursting throughout the pancake. The whipped cream was homemade. To die for. Then there were the breakfast tacos which were delicious having eggs and chorizo out of a pancake, are you kidding me? The chipotle sauce was awesome.
