This was my first experience with We Wash and I wish there were places like this in Grand Rapids! You get what you pay for - they work fast and are detailed. I think for $16, you get a hand wash, dry and even wipe your interior. We were probably there for about 15 minutes and they do ask you to get out of the car, but not bad. There's a small area to sit and buy snacks if needed. The only reason for 4 stars is that they messed with the radio settings while they're cleaning and it was a little annoying to try and fix. There were also some fibers still left on the dashboard and doors, but all in all, still a good experience. read more

These clowns left FOOTPRINTS on the leather rear seats of my wife's vehicle. When made aware they didn't even try to remedy the situation. She has a Mazda CX-30. That rear seating area is TINY. I don't even know how or understand why feet were on the seat. I had to go purchase a specialized leather cleaner to remove the footprints because of the chemicals they step in transferred and would not wipe off or out. read more

This is one of the hubs favorite go to hand car wash. We are a two car household and he prefers hand car washes. They literally scrub the mess out of your car. I went to automatic car wash a week or so ago. My hubby immediately noticed a few spots of bird still on the car. Let me say there was nothing left once they finished. It is $10 buck! 0 stars: They broke my gas tank cap and claimed it was an accident, and I received no compensation. To any customers considering getting their car washed at this shop, I strongly advise you to leave immediately. It seems accidents are bound to happen, and you'll be the one paying hundreds of dollars for it. It all started when I asked one crew member to vacuum the dust and leaves around the gas door. Unfortunately, another crew member, without noticing that the gas cap was open, forcefully snapped it off. They didn't inform me about the incident; instead, I discovered it myself after they had finished washing my car. Filled with anger, I immediately returned to ask what had happened. The manager admitted that their crew had broken it, and the entire incident was even recorded on CCTV. To my surprise, the manager then accused me of asking them to clean the gas tank cap, suggesting that the accident wouldn't have occurred if I hadn't requested it in the first place. Ridiculous! Did I ask them to break it? The manager gave me a multitude of excuses, mentioning that they have numerous staff members and only one of them was informed about the opened fuel tank cap, crews didn't understand English and so on. In conclusion, my experience with this car wash shop has been nothing short of infuriating. More than $500 cost of repairing my gas tank cap is a reminder of this disappointing experience. Have these guys another chance and it will be the last time I step foot in here. The broke my license plate off my car and refused to fix it. I also found a broken off piece of plastic inside my car I'm not sure what it's from at this point. They handed my my plate and said "it's not our fault". Whose fault is it? One of the guys grabbed a screw driver to try to fix it and the guy from behind the counter told him NOT to. This place is so w reckless and lazy. I don't like writing bad reviews but I got a car wash yesterday and asked if they could remove an old permit sticker on my windshield. I was told no problem. The guy who removed a portion of the sticker ended up scratching off part of my tint. When the manager ended up walking over to take a look at it somehow tried to blame me because I didn't tell them my windshield was tinted??? And said "well you have a crack in your windshield so you have to replace it anyways". Didn't offer me a discount or reimbursement for the inconvenience. I was on the hunt for a new "go-to" car wash. A friend of mine recommended We Wash. I gave it a try and am obsessed with it. They do an amazing job and are WAY faster than any other hand wash place I've been. I always add the clear coat, which I highly recommend. Also the price (especially for the quality) is very fair. DO NOT GO HERE UNLESS YOU WANT YOUR CAR DAMAGED!!! THEY TUG THE LETTERS OFF YOUR CAR. When I got home from my wash, I realized they yanked the "C" from the "4MATIC" letters on the back of my Mercedes down with the towel they used to dry it. I know it was done during the wash here because the towel fibers were still caught behind the letter, bringing it down. I called the shop and they asked that I come back so they could look at it. All the owner did was pull the towel fibers from behind the letter, move the letter up and say "do you want glue?". DO YOU WANT GLUE?!?!?! ARE YOU FUCKING KIDDING ME?!?!?!?!?!? All he kept repeating is that they don't offer a warranty on your car. No shit sherlock, but you can at least admit when your business is in the wrong and offer to fix things somehow! Absolutely no customer service skills. I can't believe after coming here close to a year faithfully every/every other week (see my good review below) they would dismiss me and the damage to my car. If my car were an old crap car I might not be as pissed, but it's a Benz of this past year. Come on man. I explained to the owner that the reason why people go to hand car washes is because they should take better care than the $3 machine washes. My old Malibu never had this happen even at the crap automatic washes. After arguing with the owner, I received NO APOLOGY, NO OFFER TO REPAIR THE DAMAGE, NOT EVEN A FUCKING REFUND FOR THE WASH THAT DAMAGED MY CAR. Save yourself the eventual disappointment and go to another car wash in the area. I paid extra for vacuuming my trunk (I had Xmas tree there day before) they didn't vacuum it plus they stole a bottle of soda from a back seat. It's like 2$- is it really worth it to steal stuff from car you are cleaning? Hands down one of the worst car washes in Chicago for a huge chunk of change! I asked for inside and out price they replied 16 bucks... I gave them a chance, didn't notice til I got back in the car that... THEY DO NOT VACUUM, WIPE DOWN, OR DO ANYTHING TO THE INTERIOR OF THE CAR! The outside is all that is done, and that is done poorly too! I was distracted by the hand held air blower they used to get leaves and nooks and crannies dried, looked cool...oops!
