This car wash took me by surprise. The service was decent and the service was quick. Pretty much the service was mediocre and sadly the vacuum was not apart of the purchase. This is the 2nd time I've used this car wash and service was bad the 1st time and worse the 2nd. The first time, I got the regular wash and the guy didn't want to give me my receipt back. I had to go through the car wash, pull around and wait for the line to back up before he would give it to me. The 2nd time, I went in and asked which wash would cover getting my car vacuumed. I was told the ultimate wash so I bought the $9 wash. At the end of the wash, i pulled in by the vacuums and waited. No one came so I pulled up to the cashier. He told me I still needed to pay $1 in quarters and need to do the vacuuming myself. I asked where I can get quarters and he walked off. I assumed he was going to get change but he never reappeared. Great car wash. Inexpensive And the vacuum is located outside of the car wash take quarters. It cost one dollar for each cycle for using the vacuums. Keep in mind they only accept cash for the car wash. read more

Cash only! People work there don't treat customers in a nice way! Unfriendly service. And the machine doesn't wash up so well that my car is still not-so-clean (maybe only work for light dust). Not recommend. Came out with bad mood. read more

There are rules to this issh. When it comes to fast, cheap and good - you can only have two of the three, you can't have it all. I was really in need of a car wash and my Yelp App led me here for the closest drive thru. I paid for the most expensive option even with the wax and was looking forward to the bird crap being removed from my car. My hope was good & fast but that equals expensive and well I forgot that part. Before I was allowed in, a man came out of a station and pre-scrubbed my windows with a bucket of seemingly dirt water solution. I came out of the car wash and there was still bird debris on my car. So much so that the gentleman manning the station, came out with another scrub brush to get the stuff off. After it wouldn't come off, he went and got paper towels to remove it. I was glad he gave it a go but I might as well have gone to a hand car wash. Unless you are just looking for a rinse I wouldn't do it. read more

First visit: the whole back side of my car was still dirty. I informed the cashier and he said that he could not let me go through the carwash again unless I paid. What!? The whole back of my car is dirty I just paid for a car wash why would I pay again make sure the back of my car is clean Second visit: I know I should have learned my lesson but I thought maybe it was a fluke and this place is right by my house. Back of my car is totally dirty again. Fix your car wash! You have 1 job. I told the guy in once again he told me that I could not go through the carwash again unless I paid and then he looked at the back of my car and said he could wipe it off for me. That's really nice but I don't want someone just dusting off the dirt I want a freaking car wash that cleans. I wont ever go back. And okay so your car wash isn't the best car wash or one of your brushes is missing that cleans the back of the car. Just added this as a business because I use it a lot and it'll eventually be on my neighborhood list when I put it together. Not that you need them but I couldn't find much info (phone/web add./hours) to fully complete their business info. Right on the corner of Halsted and Archer. Six bucks and three minutes of your time for a basic wash and thorough air dry. You need not even get out of your car and you can cross it off your to-do list. Attendant on duty. read more

Snappy as fast, yes it is. This is a quick machine wash, you can choose the 6,7 or 8 dollar option, I usually get the 7$ one which is the deluxe, and if you need gas fill up across the street first as it's discounted with a wash. This is my emergency car wash place, the place to stop when I need my car to look decent, and haven't had the time to get to a hand wash place, or as in this case today, a crew of pterodactyls decided this looks like a great target to hit. My vehicle got worked over last night and today, last night the windshield and since it wasn't completely set the washer fluid took care of it, but today the hood got it good while I was at Costco, maybe these birds got a hold of some samples, it wasn't pretty. So enter Snappy, because Snappy has these big powerful brushes to scrub the crap off, yes the crap! Why three stars, well if your car is a bit rounded at the bottom, or has a hatchback, it misses those areas a bit. They do try, a guy comes out with a brush before you go through and does a quick wipe down of the back, however there are always some corners missed. I'll be bringing my car in for the real deal later this week, at least it won't look that bad, the humans at the car wash won't be swearing at me in Spanish when it hits the wash lane. I normally do not write reviews, but this one was worthy of writing. I agree with al the negative reviews, they speak for themselves. This place is terrible in every way but the worse was the people that work there, especially the Hispanic old guy. My car was still very dirty after the wash(not just a little) that it seemed it never even went in. The problem however was that the guy who clearly has no CS experience and arrogantly just said I had to pay again if I wanted a clean car. I tell you, I just don't understand how they hire these people and how they stay in business....STAY AWAY from this place!! read more

Drive thru car wash that got all the nasty residue of snow off my car. There was a boy who washed my wheels before I entered into the car wash. Air dry not as strong as I would like, since I don't like water spots, but there was a man (who I'm guessing is not part of the business) who offered to dry my car after I exited. Tipped him for getting most of the remaining water. Cash only. Attendant on site. $6 for regular car wash, $7 for car wash + undercarriage, and $8 for everything. Convenient location, quick and easy. Worst service ever! The employee treated me and an African American woman so badly it was completely uncalled for. Everyone was out cleaning their cars and after the poor car wash (I will get to that later) I tried vaccuming my car, only the vaccum wasn't working. I told the attendant who told me to go to a different machine, so I did. When I put the money into the second vaccum it ate my money and would not turn on. This also happened to an African American woman at the same time so we went up to the attendant together and asked him to turn on another vaccum so we could vaccum out our cars. He said he couldn't do that and he wasn't going to give us our money back. We never asked for our money back, we just wanted to vaccum our cars. He started being super racist and rude to both of us and told us we would have to come back tomorrow and talk to the manager. I asked him who we need to speak to, what is the managers name? He refused to give us the managers name and said if we come back tomorrow we can ask him what his name is. We couldn't believe the words that cam out of this mans mouth, we never asked for our dollars back for the vaccum, we just wanted to vaccum. We told him he needed to at least put a sign on the machine so people stop trying to use the broken vaccum, he refused as again told us to come back tomorrow and talk to the manager...and again refused to give us his name or the managers name. Then he told us mockingly to look at the video camera and ask for our money back, maybe we will get it that way. At this point I was done, but the woman was livid and continued to yell and argue with the attendant. I have never been treated so poorly over $1! To add insult to injury may car was still dirty after the cat wash. The attendant washed the back of some vehicles on the way in but didn't do mine. The car wash doesn't do a good job cleaning either and left a dirty spot on the back of my minivan. I have been coming to this car wash since it opened over 10 years ago, but this will be my last time! No bug-off, tar remover or anything like that offered. Bucket with brush was outside but the guy didn't bother to come outside and put soap on before going in. When I came out the whole bottom portion of my car still had tar on it. Showed it to the guy. He said it was oil. I said you should have something that helps remove it and soak it right before going in. Like many other car washes have. I don't mind paying a couple $ extra. Guy right behind me had the same problem. His actually looked worse. No offer to run it again but he did say sorry. I guess I have to figure out how to clean my car now after after coming from the car wash. I had the $8 all inclusive wash. Two stars because it did clean the rest of the car. read more

No brush for me!!! I had visible blobs of something on driver side of my car. I thought the guy would brush it off before putting the car through. In the past the guy comes out and pre-scrubs it to get the tough stuff off before putting car through. Not today!!! The guy's name was Victor and he didn't offer to brush it before or after when my car came out with all the stuff still on there. He said I had to pay again to go through again. Didn't offer to try to wipe it off or anything. Simply stood there and said "I don't know what it is, it's your car!" He couldn't be bothered. And he said he was only an employee so he couldn't help in any way. There were no other cars in line behind me and no cars before me either. I think they no longer have a policy about customer satisfaction if there ever was one. Very disappointing service and attitude! I'm not taking my CRV here anymore! While paying my gas across the street and choosing 'Yes' for a car wash, the screen displays: 1- Ultimate Wash and 2- More. In a rush and not thinking about what these mean, I chose Ultimate and ended up paying $8 for a car wash, when I would've preferred just a basic wash. Strategic on their part, but a rip off. After getting my gas, I drove across the street to the car wash. The attendant was inside the car wash spraying it down with a hose, but turned to see me pull my car in and ignore me. I waited for him to come to the attendant window, or to signal me to pull forward and he continued to act like I was not there. Finally, after waiting 60 seconds or so, I opened my car door and stepped out. He then looked at me, shouted that it was closed, and went back to spraying. This was about 15 minutes after 9pm. There was no sign to show it was closed nor are there hours of operation posted anywhere. After I redeem my car wash (code valid for 31 days), I will be glad to not bother with Snappy again. read more
