Ducky's was a drive by find as I was overdue for a Spring cleaning car wash, and the reasonably priced touchless options caught my attention. Upon entering, I noticed that the place and equipment looked a little run down, and only 1 of the 2 touchless stations were open, but there was a already cleaning in progress, which was a good sign. After a short wait, someone came out to ask which wash I wanted, ranging from $4 to $10, took my cash (no credit cards), explained I need to roll in between the tracks until my front tire hit a bump until I saw the "Stop" light. About halfway in, my car was already getting sprayed with a foaming substance so I could barely see. Once fully stopped, I was nervous, because the equipment got a lot closer to my car than the ones I'd previous used, however that probably helped in getting all the grime off. I went for the full treatment with wax, and it took a few more minutes to dry clear after the actual wash was done, but I was very happy with the results. read more

My car was l dirty after I went through the $10 "deluxe" car wash. I spoke with the manager about it and he accused me of lying about the car wash I paid for. The machine did not print a receipt and he claimed to have no way of showing that I got the deluxe. He was very rude to me and it felt racially motivated because he was kind to the other non black people. I would never go back or recommend to any one. Unfortunately I was a long time ducky's customer until today I had a back and forth with two employees about my sticker being displayed INSIDE my car they accused me of theft instead of knowing the whole matter and questioning the situation in a professional manner I'm extremely appalled and can't continue to do business with ducky's after todays experience I refuse to return and I'll be taking my business elsewhere I'm greatly disappointed with the employees and as well with the owner whom I've had the chance to speak with after finding his phone number on a negative review The owner became irate after I mentioned involving an lawyer and posting this situation on social media I'm am truly disgusted Also they advertise u get "unlimited" car washes if u join the monthly membership but that is a complete LIE You're LIMITED to ONE car wash per day I should have cancelled my membership then Save ur money and go else where read more

My car wash they don't speak English. I been busy there 5 times they took my $20 I them for the monthly service the women took my $20 I didn't know you was suppose to get a sticker in the window. So the manager is a Hispanic took my receipt I told him to give it back he can take a picture of it time don't present me to get there doing the morning time so he told me he was going to have my $20 put back on my car and the next time I'm going to come up there I can just redo it and just get my monthly wash he haven't did anything but I'm about to go back up there today and it's not going to be nice have a great blessed day please don't go there for no car washes it's not worth it. read more

For all you frugal friends this place is a fantastic find! They have a very reasonable automatic wash that comes with free vacuum! Definitely make sure you're not too close to the car in front, put your car in neutral and enjoy the soapy ride! I came on a weekday afternoon and it was pretty packed already, I imagine it gets super busy on the weekends. I would say try to go at a not so busy time to avoid them rushing cars in one right after another and to make sure you get a spot to vacuum! read more

Wash speed is set too fast. Car wash leaves a lot of soap is not dry. Plan on staying by the vacuum cleaners an extra 15 to 20 minutes to dry vehicle and wipe down an area that was not cleaned. read more

An affordable car wash, does a pretty good job cleaning my car considering some non-hand wash places can be hit or miss. The vaccine are okay, I just wish they had a little bit more suction power. After 4 years as an unlimited customer I tried to rewash my vehicle this morning. During the first pass the wash failed to get some bird waste off the sides of the car. First I pushed the help button and waited and waited and waited. Nothing so I exited the vehicle and approached the manager. The manager that I have seen several times a week for the last few years. He told me I only get one wash a day, I explained that it failed to remove some waste during the first pass. The manager then said he was going to give me the second wash and cancel.my account. 1 time I have asked to re wash the car. There's about 10 different DIY stations so unless the Dust Bowl does a second coming in the heart of Pilsen I can't imagine there ever being a wait. They've got vacuums, car freshener vending machines, and there's an attendant usually staffed if you need quarters or just some advice on whether to go with Pine Tree or Tropical Breeze. Prices are pretty on par with the industry standard depending on what type of wash you want. Overall a solid spot to give your baby a bath. read more

The old blonde woman with the painted on eyebrows was helping a customer and started yelling at me about guiding me to drive through a car wash . She raised her voice pointing the windows are rolled down ! Then said she wasn't after I screamed back at her , I went to find a manager . So she walks over tough woman from the hood attitude . she started escalating the situation involving another customer ! She should've stayed in her line but she wanted confrontation , she charged at me with her fists balled up and wanted to fight , I guess that's how people ducky's act at their job . Obviously she's never worked with people she thinks she can talk to anyone how she feels like it . The customer didn't want to get involved which made the situation more uncomfortable A man claiming he was the manager ; tried to diffuse the situation and the painted fake blonde came over still talking ! ESCALATING instead of working ! He only said sorry and he'll talk to her , while she was denying the whole incident ! Of course! The manager said I'm escalating the situation cause he learned a new word, when I'm trying to reverse out and he's standing in front of my car , there's no exits to get away , I had to tell him to move away from my car , I guess he don't know how to look around . Upon vacuuming out my car.. The woman who was sweeping up the parking lot was not wearing a mask.. Going up to customers including myself .... Not maintaining any kind of social distance.. She was 1' away from me.. I kept walking away from her.. Upon talking to the manager he tried to get up close and personal and he had no mask on as well.. I deal with the elderly as well as sick in my family.. I can't afford ticket covid.. It may not be important to them but it is important to me as well as the entire nation and world.. The manager was not adamant about any kind of safety.. I didn't stay in for months avoiding it to go catch it from this guy or woman.. You might not care about your health but other people do.. That's why only patios are open.. That's why people still maintain social distancing.. That's why hair salons and nail salons are still limited to the amount of people inside.. A couple years ago, I had a horrible experience at Ducky's on 23rd Street but I was sufficiently impressed with my wash and the facility itself that I gave a positive comment. Unfortunately, over time my combined experience forces me to change my mind. The facility remains closed at the most inconvenient hours when they are supposed to be open for business. In the last few months, my car surface is as messy as if I hadn't washed it in a week. I recently had a temporary replacement rental car as my original car was stolen and even after explaining I was consistently denied service that I had pre-paid monthly. As recently as March 11th, 2021, I spoke to the location manager, Israel, who always just left when I arrive. This time he returned to the facility and while I waited at the side of the office building he fabricated a narrative that I was causing a disturbance when I pointed out that at staff member could be authorized to handle these situations when he is absent. Israel refused to provide service I had already paid for. The business owner should take note. read more

Absolutely need a better entry system. For the 1st time, I encountered 2 cars jump the line than extended into the street. I went for simple car wash and paid $3 for my car to crash into other cars while in the car wash. How does someone let 5 cars crash into each other while being washed? The owner or whoever talked to us didn't even apologize or offer to refund or give us a free wash. At the end of the day my car didn't even get completely washed.
