This place is one of the best car washes that I've ever been to! The prices are reasonable, service is fast and efficient, all in all, this place is everything you could want in a car wash. My car had a ton of debris from the wintertime in Chicago and this car wash did a pretty good job of cleaning it up. Would recommend overall!

Fullers Car wash on Lawerence Avenue

This is a relatively new Fuller's Car Wash located on Lawerence Ave just west of Cicero on the north side of Lawerence Ave. Fuller's Car Washes have been popping up all over the city & suburbs. They vary in price from $3 - $4 dollars for a basic wash. They also have vacuum stations outside the car wash that are free for customers (nice touch). The beauty is they are fast and inexpensive, but they only wash the exterior of the car. The other negative is that as the weather starts to freeze you can have issues w/the door locks on the car. When I want a through car wash inside and out I go to my car wash in Forest Glen. I just had my car washed the day before and of course it rained. This and the dust from road construction left my car filthy so I went to Fuller's to have my car cleaned. They dobserve a purpose for keeping your car clean for a quick inexpensive car wash.

Today I went for a wash and while I was vacuuming the inside, I noticed that the machine may have missed a pretty big spot on the passenger side.

Even though he had previously agreed over the phone. The painting quality is extremely poor. Bubbles and defects are everywhere. He dropped bondo crusts everywhere on the adjacent panels. The core issue isn't just that there's always a line--it's that the line is chaos. There's no clear system, no active management, and no sense that anyone is responsible for keeping things orderly. Cars cut in front of each other, people inch forward aggressively to claim space, and what should be a straightforward wait turns into a stressful, almost competitive experience. I've seen more than a few tense exchanges between customers, and it completely undermines what should be a routine errand. To be fair, the staff seem young and well-intentioned. They're not disengaged or rude. But they also don't appear trained or empowered to manage the flow of traffic or address the disorder. When things back up--which is often--there's no visible effort to step in and create structure. It feels like everyone is just reacting rather than running an actual system. And then there's the wash itself, which is... fine. Not terrible, but certainly not worth the time, frustration, and unpredictability of the experience leading up to it. For a place that clearly has high demand, you'd expect a more polished operation and a better end result. What's most frustrating is that this feels fixable. A clearly defined queue, active line management, and some basic customer flow discipline would go a long way. Instead, it's left to chance--and the result is a place that feels stressful and, frankly, unpleasant to visit. There are too many other options out there to justify dealing with this level of disorganization.

Upon entering, I noticed that the place and equipment looked a little run down, and only 1 of the 2 touchless stations were open, but there was a already cleaning in progress, which was a good sign. After a short wait, someone came out to ask which wash I wanted, ranging from $4 to $10, took my cash (no credit cards), explained I need to roll in between the tracks until my front tire hit a bump until I saw the "Stop" light. About halfway in, my car was already getting sprayed with a foaming substance so I could barely see. Once fully stopped, I was nervous, because the equipment got a lot closer to my car than the ones I'd previous used, however that probably helped in getting all the grime off. I went for the full treatment with wax, and it took a few more minutes to dry clear after the actual wash was done, but I was very happy with the results.
