Pretty solid car wash! We got the classic car wash for $19 and they first spray down the car with power washer and the guys go in with a vacuum and microfibers to do light interior cleaning. Then it goes through their drive through car wash which does a pretty thorough job. The car wash also has an undercarriage wash which is so helpful during the winter months. After that, there was about 6 guys that wipe down the whole car with towels to make sure no water spots are left behind. All in all, I'd say that it's a pretty good deal for a car wash, especially to keep our car clean during the Midwest winters! We'll be back again soon. read more

The car wash only took 3 min when they called me I thought they were going to ask me a question they were letting me know it was done. Honestly, I didn't even get out of my car. It looked filthy going into this place so I didn't instead I opted for just the outside to be washed going through this car wash was like going through a horror movie all the rags and bristles and cleaning things that they use are filthy. Very little soap goes on your car and you're in and out of there in 10 minutes for 20 bucks just for the outside then you have four people at the end of the car wash wiping down your car. I tell you I didn't even want him to touch the car that much cause every ride they had in their hand was Filthy. I'll never be back here.(I was in a pinch). read more

I went in for a $25 car wash and I had an old toll tag on my car I asked the guys if they can remove it. They did and my windshield is scratched! They used a razor blade but incorrectly. I called and left a message with the owner and still no reply. I will go there everyday until I get an answer and a new windshield or I will sue. A car wash should know how to wash a window. read more

Worst car wash I've ever gotten. I got the most expensive one (I think premium is what it was called) and paid $24. The time it took for my car to be washed from start to finish was less than 3 minutes. The inside was not properly washed. My mats were all dirty with snow, they didn't even vacuum them. The cup holders were not vacuumed or wiped. The inside side doors were not wiped. What did I pay $24 for!!!! And I tipped generously too apart. Had I known the job was going to be so bad I wouldn't have. All in all, will never come back. read more

Hands down best car wash. I drive all over for work and have yet to find a car wash with a better experience and price staff is fantastic so thorough and even when there's a long line it only takes less than 10 minutes. My car is always so clean when I leave and smells great inside and out. If there's anything extra that I need them to work on they always take care of that too no problem. Never go there. They stole a cap off my tire for 1. 2. You literally have to ASK them to do what they should already do. You have to ASK them to vacuum your trunk and to wipe down your seats and things. 3. They don't even clean the mats. Absolutely not worth the money 4. Just came through the car wash. I've gone to Burt's in the past and they've always done a good job - until today. Decided to do the most expensive wash and really have my car cleaned inside and out. They completed the job in about 5 minutes. Not sure how they could have waxed, vacuumed and done all that that quickly but I went with it. When I got home, I saw why. If they wiped down the seats, they missed several areas. They didn't clean out the cup holders and though the vacuumed, it was a cursory job with a lot still left. I'm not a messy person so this was not a big ask. Did they wax - I don't really know - it appears they just wiped things down like the other cars. If you decide to use the, just do the basic wash because that's likely what they'll give you if you ante up for the more expensive wash anyway. read more

I rarely leave reviews but I had to for Bert's! We have a dog that comes with a lot of hair. We haven't had our car detailed in 3 years and within that time, also did a cross country move. Our car was desperate for a deep clean. Someone in our neighborhood recommended Bert's and I'm so glad we gave them a shot. I am absolutely blown away by how clean our car is- not a hair to be seen! It truly looked brand new. Not to mention, they even took it upon themselves to fix a loose panel on the outside of our door. For the price alone, you won't beat them! Very poor job vaccuming. Told the guy up front there was some sand from going to beach. It's really not that difficult to vacuum that- done it myself in my old neighborhood car wash many times. These guys didn't care. At the end of the wash there are no vacuums so they literally blew the sand which - yeah- isn't piled up anymore but is probably spread throughout the car/carpet. Total crap. Won't go back. Probably ok if you need an exterior wash only- but still- you're going to have swirl marks as it is a machine wash. read more

Convenient for community in the West Loop. But it is not worth the money and the car never is fully clean after. The front hood/grill, back & random spots on the side just simply do not get cleaned going through the wash. They don't spray long enough at the start in the front. Any "highway" dirt, spots, etc you get from day to day driving on windshield/front of car will not get cleaned. They do hand dry and clean inside after but it's very quick and the attendant will say it's done and to come over before they're done. I'd recommend looking elsewhere. read more

I'm a loyal long-time customer (I like the loyalty punch card). Seems the "special" price has risen to $16 and if you go on the weekend there's long lines (expected, no big deal) but the service is rushed and sloppy. My car came through with the whole front bumper covered in physical dirt that they spray wiped off. They wouldn't clean off a spot I pointed out and just moved on to another car. I grabbed a towel and spray bottle and did it myself. Got home and noticed un-wiped spray on my door panel and the backseat had something sticky on it that you could physically see from the front seat. I'm cool with the long wait if it's because they're doing a good job...but in this case they weren't. They've got one more try outta me before I find someplace more detail oriented for the raised price and lowered services. read more

I wish I could give this place 0 stars. NEVER bring your car to this "car wash" ESPECIALLY if you are a woman! They took 5 hours to do a horrible job on my car. I've never gotten a full detail on my car and was expecting it to look brand new when I got in. I was instantly shocked by the scrape on my passenger side when they pulled my car up. You can see what I'm talking about from the photos that I posted. They claimed they did not do it and said, "Maybe you didn't realize you hit something." and "Maybe ask your boyfriend about it." How degrading. After getting home, I realized how many other areas were "overlooked" as the manager said after I went back and showed the scrape, which they also claimed was "definitely there before." What a joke. There are now stains from their cleaner on my seats and console and a scrape on my car. I wasted $160 for this. If you want a full detail, DO NOT COME TO BERT'S CAR WASH! read more

Boooooooooo! This place was a waste of money. I had the hand car wash too and my car didn't even come out clean. They missed so many spots inside and outside. On the inside, they didn't even bother to go into the cup holder or vacuum correctly. I was in a very good mood that day and had good faith trying out that place for the first time, but they failed. I needed my car detailed before trading it in and I went to this place for its convenient location to my work and home. They did a wonderful job, and my car sparkled! It was so clean, my leather interior looked fresh and the shampoo'd carpets were incredible. I cannot say they are known for their customer service because the two men at the desk I dealt with were pretty short and I felt as a new customer who was unaware of the system in place there, I felt a little more explanation and patience would've been appreciated. The paper of the services you want are all circled with prices next to them, a few other services were circled and although they had prices next to them when I questioned it I was abruptly told they were included and to drop my car around the corner. So I asked again to clarify I will not be charged for these items - He said no and told me to go around the corner and come back in 4 hours. Well, I didn't know what "around the corner" meant and I told the man I was a new customer but was given no direction. so I drove the block a few times until I found the correct 1 way street where you wait in line to drop off your car for the car wash, or maybe if you have detail service you pull up to the front - i still do not know to this day because it was so unclear and disorganized and I just waited in the line. My car wasn't ready for about 7 hours, not a huge deal because I wasn't in a rush, but I was told 4 hours at the beginning so give yourself extra time ! All in all, I would go back because I think the end result of my car was above my expectations but I won't waste my time trying to make small talk. I paid 120 for interior detailing and shampoo'd carpets and I was not charged for those additional included items that were circled on the paper of services. read more
