Experience: This will be my third visit to this location. I usually come here in the morning to beat the rush, but due to time restraints I had to come around 3pm. Regardless the line does not seem to be too long, so it was not a problem. Parking: If for some reason you are looking for parking, there is free street parking in front. It does not seem too difficult to find a spot. Worth: I usually receive the regular wash and I have no complaints. I think it's worth the money. I've been coming to this place for years, when they were Ritz in Chicago ave. This place has a good system down and has you in and out of there within 10-15mins. Once they're done they'll come into the waiting room and call your car and have you pay. CASH ONLY. If you don't have cash there is an ATM in there. Then they will walk you out to your car. When they're real busy I'll make sure I do a quick walk around in case they missed a spot. Majority of the time the car is cleaned and dried well and I love that they use the air compressor to blow out the excess water from behind the side mirrors and around the trunk. The employees have always been very nice and courteous. As long as I'm in the neighborhood this will be my go to car wash! Not crazy about the fact that they raised their prices! Ruined my car. If you are worried about getting scratches and swirls DO NOT come here. They didn't have a proper presoak and rinse approach. Didn't rinse post the first soak. Used dirty mitts that weren't washed between cars and just scrubbed all the dirt and scratched up the clear coat on my brand new car. Just terrible. All my doors black gloss pillars have tons of new very noticeable big swirls now. The last few weeks walking up to the doors would really enjoy the fact they were so clear in comparison to my previous car. I was very (underlined) happy with my service here. Needing a last minute car wash on a Friday night, and finding my old place shuttered, I headed over to Glitz not knowing what to expect. If it's going to be your first time: pull in, give 'em your keys, go sit in the waiting room, and... wait as your car gets pampered like a day at the spa. Without requesting anything, the standard hand wash/vacuum/dry was $15, and covered every single inch of the car. They even vacuumed the leaves out of the trunk top divet... I don't know what car things are called. Should you have a nice ride, you can ask for specific detailing services that look like they run up to $150, or maybe more... but I'm in my bro's Honda Civic, replete with sun spots and bumper scrapes, so standard is alright by me. I was one faithful and happy customer of this establishment since they were located on Chicago Avenue. On 2/17/18 at approximately 4:00 pm I went to get my car washed. After the wash I went to inspect the vehicle as I always do. There were some minor issues which were quick fixes with the manager just being open to listening and not taking my dissatisfaction personal. Now keep this in mind...I am a lady who actually washes and waxes her vehicle regularly even in the winter. The manager became irate regarding wiping the excess water out of door jams, wiping water off of the Weather Tech mats and ensuring that all of the salt residue was removed and spreading the tire dressing evenly on all 4 tires. Instead of the manager hearing me out he stated to me if I didn't like the service...I didn't have to come back and could find someone else to wash my vehicle. Then, when I tried to ask for a number to contact the owner, the manager ran into a back room and when he emerged back he stated to me that the owner said they do well without my business and not to come back. I will admit that I did get angry and knocked down some garbage cans. But, to have spent $19 on a car wash and then for it to start snowing.... I felt like a fool. He and the other staff cannot take advice or guidance to achieve customer satisfaction. I will not return and will find other sites to report this disrespect.
