I've been going to this car wash location for a few years now. Overall it's a good deal for what you get. There are many levels of wash options to choose from - and very reasonably priced. They also have an area where you can vacuum and clean out your car. The wash does a solid job of getting the car clean and keeping it clean - even with the cheapest wash and the worst of weather. The only complaint is that lines to get in build up and block the area at 90 and Fullerton. Avoid going there on a weekend - especially with nice weather! It's rare I give such reviews but this company (not just this location but even the one on Ridge) are pricks, liars, cheats and just plain dishonest folks. Purchased a buy one get one platinum wash on Sunday 7/28. Was told by the guy selling it (and also says on the code attached in the review) that I have 5 days to use the free wash at any of their locations. On Thursday 8/1, went to their Fullerton location and the code would not work. (BTW, I went on their website and both the Ridge location and the Fullerton location are on their website under 'locations' so I know it's the same company). I tried 3 times but it errored out. I spoke to a person working there who by the way was confused and asked me who issued this, etc. Then he asked me if I had gotten it at this location (Fullerton). Told him it was from the Ridge location and he said it won't work there. I pointed out to him that the receipt clearly says that it works at ALL their locations within 5 days AND the person who sold it said that too. I asked for a manager/supervisor but he kept saying nobody can help me. I'd have to go back to the Ridge location. Just disheartening that this sort of disgusting dishonesty still exists. I looked at receipt closely when I got home and see contradicting information. It says it is accepted at all locations and then the paragraph below it says only at this location (Ridge). The employee outside was so incredibly rude and started banging on my window out of nowhere telling me not to block the driveway which I was not doing. Large sign says car wash closes at 8pm. They turn off all of the vacuums at 7:30pm and stop providing services with no signs or notice anywhere, and will not turn back on. I would have gone to any of the other car washes open if this was posted anywhere. If you stop providing all services promptly at 7:30pm then you close at 7:30pm, not 8pm. 7:30-8pm is only for staff to clean up. You are not open at that time, so your signs are incorrect and you shouldn't charge people for services. read more

TERRIBLE experience. I had to hit my breaks two times to avoid hitting the car in front of me as the cars were packed in extremely close. The car behind hit me and left several marks. I had to immediately get out of the way as more cars were pulling into the lot and I lost track of that car. I was told they have to pack cars in close to avoid traffic on the street. Not a solution, especially at the customer's expense. Avoid this place, it is too small to accommodate cars safely. I was offered a free car wash and that was it. I have been coming here for a very, very long time. My car is a little older, in great shape, and it gets the job done for me. (I wouldn't bring a new car here). I haven't minded paying $10 for the deluxe wash, especially when they raised it to this price from like $8. Shockingly today the same wash was increased by five dollars. That is a ridiculous increase at one time. That was a horrible move to inflict on its customers. I paid it today, but it was painful. For a little bit more, one can get it washed by hand. But if you take the time to wipe down the edges and missed spots right after, can't complain too much as it does get a majority of the car cleaned off. The nice thing about this location is there's an parking section you can pull into to do this and has free vacuums in each spot. The line to get into the wash can be annoying when it get busy, but it seems to move rather swiftly. Have those towel and detailing kits ready for afterwards! It was definitely tight in the vacuum area parking lot. The employees there weren't too friendly, which is not a big deal but would improve the experience. The only real issue I have is with the tire cleaning. I purchased the best car wash they have which included tire cleaning. I've been coming here for years almost 4 times a week mostly just for the vacuums in all honesty. The vacuums are very convenient which is nice, but get a wash somewhere else. Riverview hand wash isn't much farther away on clybourn and it's pretty much the same price for a full detail (at least with my car). I wouldn't be upset if I didn't watch the guy hosing down my car hit my mirror with the hose and then watch half my mirror fall off without even a 'whoops my bad' or anything. The vacuums are a huge pro, but go through the wash at your own risk. My car is wrapped in different color. When I pull up I asked Marcos to turn off the brushes so it would not scratch the wrap which this facility did many times in the past. Marcos rudely tells me "You need to be ready to tell me this" meaning I should have told him 20 feet away before pulling up? He tells me to put on neutral which I did. When I put on neutral I heard a pop or crack on car. I went to dry my car and noticed the front driver side wheel trim cracked. I called Marcos who told he "we give you 2 rollers to put your car in neutral." I didn't know what that meant. He would not give me his supervisor's # but gave me an email. Stan replied to me but asked me how I think their 3" diameter rollers caused the damage and would not take responsibility. There is no phone # posted anywhere at any of their facilities to call in case of an issue which shows their lack of customer support. read more

It has been broken for over two months. Tonight I forgot, got in the left lane and was stuck behind someone having the same problem for over 10 minutes. I wound up just paying in cash and am sitting on the gift card. When I mentioned it to the attendant, he told me they've told management many times and nobody is doing anything about it. I hadn't gotten my car washed in an embarrassingly long amount of time -- probably about three months, which isn't great -- and finally decided to run this errand during Easter weekend. While driving back into the city from visiting my family in the 'burbs, I noticed this clean-looking, price-friendly spot on Fullerton off of I-90/94. I figured while pulling up that the $3 wash offer was probably the most basic out of a few other options, just based on similarly-named spots I've been to over the years. I was correct, and chose the $10 wash since it came with a few add-ons. I pulled around to the car wash tunnel (what is it called?! haha) and a gentleman directed my wheels in the right direction until I was on the track. Then, of course, I just drifted through 'til it was done. I appreciated the signs inside that encouraged drivers not to hit the brakes at all, because whenever I'm in a car wash I wonder if I'm supposed to just let it take me all the way through, or when I should drive, or brake, or what! Just remember when you're leaving the wash to keep an eye on the curb getting back down to Fullerton, because it's pretty steep. Otherwise, stop here for a quick, inexpensive wash! read more

Just had the absolute worst experience. I've been going here for a few years now, it's on my route to and from work. Today, will be the last time I ever go to this location. The employee, taller, slightly older, African American man, kept yelling at me that I was breaking his machine. He kept telling me to figure it out because I had "15 cars behind me!" Apparently, the only thing they wash here is their hands, from any wrongdoing. I signed up for the Lava Shield & Wax Monthly Club a few weeks ago. It was "okay" at best until tonight. The attendant didn't pre-rinse the car! If you don't, the brushes drag dirt and dust all over the paint. I left with scratches and water spots all over the clear coat on the hood. I tried buffing out right after I pulled out of the garage bay with Meguiars Quick Detail spray, but no luck, the damage was done. Sometimes they get off their butts and Pre-spray the car and wash the back where the car wash doesn't get get to well, other times the lazy guy just waves you in. He then yelled "FUCK" and told me to do it again.
