I've been coming here for 5 years, and today after the car wash someone tapped/moved the emergency brake lever ... this set off my brake light to flash on my dashboard. I even called two workers to come and look to see why my brake light was flashing ... no clue. I was sent on a wild goose chase to figure out out what was wrong with my car and the weird sound - dragging sound. I don't know about cars so this was stressful. Auto-shops couldn't see me since it was close to closing time. Luckily my brother-in-law was able to take a look at my car after work and figured out that the emergency brake lever was moved. I'm posting this so that no one goes through this. I will mention it to the group of workers next time I go and manager -- they need to be more mindful and not so careless. read more

Highly disappointed with my service today. Went in and paid for the platinum wash ($25) which includes complete cleaning of the interior. They rush you out of the garage onto Halsted before you can get a good look at the work. My trunk was left dirty and every single open compartment (cup holders, door handles, vents, etc.) up front were completely ignored. Windows were half assed cleaned and streaks were left all over the exterior of the car. The crazy thing, it wasn't even busy. They were in and out in less than 10 minutes, but because they are super over staffed, I didn't think anything of it. Wouldn't recommend this place to anyone. read more

One of the worst car wash ever. They literally only cleaned the first row of my vehicle. They did not vacuum nor wiped down in my back seat at all. When I spoke to the owner, he stated they were busy and did not have the time. The owner was ok with the workers doing a half job. They also use very old dirty towels there were so many smear parts. I normally wash my own car but in the winter I do tend to go to get it done. I just got home from my wash and I checked it out and what do I see, different dirty spots on the car missed. And this is not the first time they miss stuff. Last time they didn't even vacuum the mats in the backseat. Good thing they cleaned it when I went back! The only good thing about this place is the undercarriage wash. Another reason I go here in the winter and they open later than other places. They get it nice and clean FAST which I appreciate because it's nice to just get in and out and carry on with the day. When I used to live on the north side, their North side location was my go to spot. Now, I'm in the South Loop and found it they have a location in Pilsen. In about ten years of going, I've had maybe 1 or 2 small over sights on my washes. They are always very efficient, they know the system and they'll get you in and out. I brought my car in today and this was by far the worst experience ever. I paid for a supreme was which was $15.95 my car was done in less than 10 mins. A handcar wash was not what I received the car was still dirty inside and out. There were materials pieces all on the car from the towels they washed and dried the car with. The car was not nearly dried off and the so call armor all on the tires you couldn't even see. I asked for a manager and he was even more terrible than the workers. I get busy and shit and the next thing you know there are empty frappuccino bottles rolling around on the floor, cig butts (don't smoke), a baby's sock (no baby), and long blong hairs (ain't blond) all up in the piece. He checks over the work that's done (which, as a worker = "get off my nuts, man!" but as a customer = "thank you, good sir"), and his prices are more than fair (the most expensive wash option is less than $20 - and by "less than $20," I mean $19.95). Let's also assume that I got severely hammered and then used the interior of my car to display the contents of my meal prior to me getting hammered. I am extremely disappointed in the lack of safety measures taken during COVID. The majority of employees did not wear a mask. I attempted to refuse service (I could not back out as a car was behind me) and instead was assured the employees allowed in my car would be wearing a mask (by 2 men not wearing a mask). I spoke with the owner about my concern and was assured that he would speak with the employees. Super fast, efficient, great deal, car is clean! These guys will clean your car inside and out for $10 bucks. They will wipe, spray, and vacuum each nook and cranny. 5 guys cleaning by hand! It doesn't get any better than that, and they do a pretty decent job. Want a more thorough shampoo? Upgrade to platinum for $25. Sometimes there is a line on nicer days, but they move along quickly, so we've never had to wait too long. Let me start out by saying that I drive a BMW Coupe and I wash my car every 1 to 2 weeks. So I was happy when my brother informed me that there was a reasonably priced internal/external hand car wash closer to south loop. So far I've been four times and although the hand washes were great, I dread handing over my car to the employees who always seem to be rushing. On three occasions my car was flown down the line with the doors open, almost hitting their own equipment. The kicker was exactly two weeks ago when they somehow backed the car in front of me straight into my front bumper and nobody could recall who was driving the car... I understand that this is a business and time is money, but there is a big difference between being efficient and just rushing. I would rather pay a few more dollars upfront for quality care than having to pay hundreds to remove dents and dings afterward. read more

I actually worked here, eleven years ago when it was first known as the Pilsen Detail Center. I typically get my car washed here because it is on the way home from work and for the price, it is good service. I would recommend the 'Super Wash,' because it includes an undercarriage rinse which is necessary to get the road salt off in the typically snowy Chicago winters. While the quality does seem to fade somewhat the busier they get (Usually avoid this place on weekends), most of the time they do a great job of cleaning the exterior and interior for the vehicle. I would recommend giving them a try, but avoid if you see a line forming around the block. read more

Meh... I was debating between 3 and four stars and since I go here regularly for a car wash, I figure they get the 4th star. If you go in the AM from 0800-1030, you get $2 off your wash for being early. Mind you the line will back up into the street and even onto Halsted so just be prepared to wait to save $2. Overall they do a decent job and are relatively quick as they move a lot of cars through here. While it is nothing spectacular and I feel the prices are a bit high, it's one of the closest car washes to me and I just haven't found another place to take my car to. read more

Yes they are fast for a reason...NOT clean and thorough. Every time I come here i discover they do a half-a** job. I've given this place so many chances because they are in my neighborhood and want to support them but today was the last straw. When I got home I realized they did not clean the inside of my rear driver side window where my daughter sits. When I opened door (note my kids were not in the car) there were the same messy fingerprints on the window...Ughh! I went inside to get Windex and cleaned myself. Cleaning the inside window is a necessity for a hand car wash and they simply can't get that right. For better hand washes make the trip on Wabash st. (Strictly Hand) or State St. Car wash. I was walking to my car the other day and thought I was at the wrong vehicle, since my black car was starting to look gray. That's when I knew I needed a wash - bad. The city is apparently doing some repaving not only near my work, but my home as well so all the dirt on my car built up fast. My brother has been going to (and recommending) this wash for years but I didn't really see the point when the Lexus dealer does it for free - at the cost of an hour, or more, of your life waiting. So I decided to go here during my lunch break to ensure that I wouldn't get stuck in the middle of a long line/wait . Success. I was the 2nd car in the wash at the time I had pulled up. For $15 (Super Wash), I watched as they washed my car bumper to bumper, rim to rim. "Wow, I can see my tires." They even wiped down everything inside, vacuumed the carpeting, and wiped down my floor mats - which was a shock, though my feet were sliding around on my mat. I then ensued to drive my car in pride, as it is now returned to its full shiny, black (not gray) glory. I love We Wash and have designated it my regular wash. First thing he said is that not my problem really ? But I will clean it this time usually its ten dollars .... but you should tip the worker . After I done tipped before i left . So the guy cleaned it with a brush and it came right off ....then the manager proceed to come yell at me for no reason .. Saying this suppose to be extra cost . I came here to get a wash on 11/4/16. Guys did a decent job. But I'm not sure what cord was pressed under the drivers seat while washing it. My airbag light indicator turned on when I entered my car after the wash. Was not on before I entered the car wash. I don't see the purpose of having 3-4 guys washing the car when I had to tell the manager that there were dirt spots. This is not the 1st time either. Also I want to mention that the employees need to make sure they don't peel off the rear trunk emblem letters while washing. There is no need to be pressing that hard back there, which will result in losing those letters. There is much room for improvement needed. read more

I usually take pride in washing my own ride. Can't really do that living in a condo bldg. This place is professional and the next best thing to doing it yourself. Decent prices and good service. My only gripe is that the wash is never consistent. They usually do a good job with attention to detail but the last few times they left soap suds all over the little cracks in my car. I've lived down the street for three years and never went here. I always thought these kinda places only did $100 car washes. My car was super bad with dirt so I pulled in on a Saturday. Line wasn't long, and before I even pulled into the building there was already somebody washing my car. Pulled in, and for $15 had the entire inside and outside done. Amazing!!! I purchased a groupon for this place because it was a great deal. $37 for 3 SUV "platinum washes." I have two more so we will see when I get those done as well. However, my first wash was so fast that clearly things were missed. For a "platinum wash" this was definitely a typical rushed inside and out car wash that you can get for $10 or maybe less elsewhere. By far the worst car wash I have ever had in Chicago. I stopped by yesterday due to the proximity of the place to my house. I've tried Fast Eddies and Quiroga's car washes before, but I was in a bit of a rush so I had to choose a place that was close to home. When I arrived, there was a line of cars going out almost to Halsted (the entrance is NOT on halsted). Thankfully, it moved quickly. But moving quickly should have been a RED FLAG. The attention to detail is virtually non existent. I have a very small car. There aren't that many surfaces to be cleansed. But here is a list of major pitfalls: Back seats were not even close to wiped. I had dropped my snowbrush a few days ago, and there were some simple stains that could easily be wiped. Just water and salt I suppose. It wasn't even touched. My car has black leather seats, very easy to wipe clean and to notice there was a stain on them, yet it was totally overlooked. The center console had still hair and debris on it. This means it wasn't even touched. Of course, the cup holders behind the console towards the rear seats still displayed coffee spills on them. Though the top of the car was squeaky clean, most of the underside had not been wiped at all. Behind the tires there was still black gunk from the snow. I basically paid for them to clean my windows, the top of the console, and the tires and half top of the car, and to do a very quick and bad vaccuum job. The price was not bad at $14.99 when compared to other car washes, with options of 10 or 20 instead. Bottomline: They are fast, very fast. If you want to have a fast service, but do not care AT ALL about the quality of your car wash, this is the place to go. Just don't complain when you notice your car is still completely dirty, because at least they were fast. (Wow, I can't find anything good to say besides their speed). I guess next time I'll be heading back to Quiroga's, which now does a better job than Fast Eddies. read more

It saddens me to say that after almost a year of writing my original review of this business that little has changed in the services provided. Your vehicle will leave with soap still in the grille, areas of the body unwashed, rims filled with dirt at the crevices. It boggles me that for something as simple as washing a car would be such a chore to expect from such an establishment. My vehicle is washed there to simply remove the snow, salt and dirt from just penetrating the surface. For a deep clean I go elsewhere where the service is not rushed and the end result desirable. So spend your money here for the normal standard car that gets washed once a decade, but for your regular maintenance of your sports car, go elsewhere. read more

Place has seriously gone done the shitter since Aaron, the Hispanic manager left. They vacuumed around the floor mats without pulling them and didn't even bother vacuuming between the seats and console! There was still hair and "kids crumbs" all around the shifter on the console, so I how that wasn't even touched! Rear hatch mat wasn't even touched! Tires weren't dressed either and this was all for what should have been the $19.95 Super! The body was clean, I'll give them that. However, I do not like having to drive home only to have to clean all the lint off the paint and glass not to mention re-vacuuming what they missed!Must be using the original towels since they opened!
