From the first moment I met them for a consultation to the last moment when the lights came on after our last dance at the wedding they were there every step of the way. My husband and I live in Long Beach Ca. and having our wedding in Grass Valley turned out to be a daunting task to execute. So we decided to hire a day of coordinator. We chose Dyane and Jeff for their expertise and experience. Not to mention we clicked right away and I felt completely comfortable in their presence. The overwhelming task of planning a wedding from a fare lessened once my husband and I chose Dyane and Jeff. Let me just say that they go above and beyond what a day of event planner typically handles. They contacted all of our vendors for us multiple times leading up to the wedding insuring everyone was on the same page. They have worked many weddings at the Mines so they are familiar with the rules and regulations that come with having a wedding in a State Park. I brought a lot of DIY stuff and only having 2 hours to set up was daunting task but they handled it to a T. This was because there were multiple e mails and phone calls leading up to the big day. Once again going above and beyond for being a day of event planner! Dyane and Jeff accompanied me on the 30 day walk threw with the park rangers and Dyane was not afraid to be assertive on my behalf with the vision I had for guest once entering the park. Normally the park rangers have the guests enter at a certain location but my vision was to have them enter threw the gardens to get the full experience the park has to offer. One of the Rangers was hesitant to this idea because it had never been done before. Dyane knew this was important to me and was vocal with the ranger and made it happen. Another "issue" was that we had lawn games at the wedding and wanted a place for guest to be able to put their drink and tray passed hourderves while they played their games. The Rangers did not want cocktail tables on the lawn game area which would have made the games difficult to play. Once again they made multiple phone calls to the Rangers on our behalf and needless to say we had cocktail tables on the lawn game area! All of our friends and family said it was the most beautiful wedding that they had ever been to. The venue it self is a great backdrop for an enchanting wedding but the flow and vision of the wedding executed with experts like Dyane and Jeff left it as a magical evening everyone will remember! They kept the night flowing with the behind the scenes details all the while trending to my husband and I to make sure we were taken care of and happy. I can't say thanks enough to these two amazing human beings! They definitely have a great thing going! If you want a stress free magical event where you, friends, and family don't have to lift a finger and just enjoy what should be the best day of your life......... Extremely professional, organized, accommodating and all around amazing! Great listeners and communicators which is huge!! The whole experience with them from start to the actual big day was very positive. They go above and beyond what we expected and are really more than just day coordinators. They were fully involved in the entire wedding planning process, handled the vendors and guests with ease and care. Our guests personally came up to us with nothing but great things to say about them. Especially the family and wedding party they treated them as if they were guests in their home.     I had my son's birthday party here. He and his friends had such a blast. Upon checking in, they had…read morea cart out with my son's name for guests to put their shoes and gifts and wheeled it into the party room. We booked a private party that was allotted for 2 hours. We had 35 minutes of play in the space world and then moved over to 35 more minutes at the candy land. Then we moved on to the private party room for 50 minutes. The host would use a siren when it was time to move to the next room and to guide us over.  I'm thoroughly impressed with the way Wacky Tacky handles birthday parties. They clearly know what they're doing. The host took care of everything which took the stress away from me. She set up the room, put my favors and cupcakes out. She served pizza, cupcakes, and used gloves to serve! She even sanitized all the kids' hands before eating. I love how they take cleanliness and good hygiene very seriously. Plates, forks, napkins, cups, utensils, tablecloth, hand sanitizer, were all provided.  Food orders do have to be made in advance, but I was able to add juice boxes and soda while I was there. Pizza came delivered close to the time it was time to move into the party room and was kept in the heated bag, so the pizza was actually still hot when it was time to be served.  Wacky Tacky was highly recommended to me for birthday parties, and I can see why. Definitely recommend to host a birthday party here! It's very organized. They even played a personalized happy birthday song to my son which I thought added such a nice thoughtful touch.  My son loves going here for open play as well. It's a great place for him to run and climb that isn't weather dependent since it's indoors.

We paid $500 for an all-inclusive birthday package, but from start to finish, the staff made it clear that they couldn't have cared less. The entire event was chaotic, uncoordinated, and stressful. There was no assigned party host, only a disengaged food server in the party room who offered little to no communication. I constantly had to track down staff to ask what was happening next and where we should be. When I arrived to set up, I was told I'd have 10-15 minutes to prepare the room. Instead, I had to repeatedly check in to see when it would be ready and was finally given just a few minutes to set everything up. During the party, the staff member assigned to our room showed no initiative or enthusiasm. He didn't communicate the schedule, didn't announce when food or activities were starting, and clearly had no idea who the birthday child was. He simply stood in the corner, quietly handing out pizza with no effort to coordinate or engage with the group. After pizza and cupcakes, we still had about 35 minutes left in our scheduled time. I was then told that too many guests had been allowed into Wacky Tacky, so the kids couldn't play afterward as promised. The children were disappointed and confused. I asked to speak with a manager, but no one ever came. I've since called multiple times to follow up, and not once has a manager called and spoken to me. Several of my guests mentioned they had attended other parties here before and had much better experiences, which only made this event more frustrating. Save your money and go elsewhere, Enchanted or literally any other venue would be a better choice. This was a disorganized, poorly managed experience, and we will not be returning
