It raises serious concerns about disability discrimination. I will be filing a formal disability discrimination complaint. Families of children with disabilities deserve to be treated with fairness, respect, and dignity. Based on our experience, I cannot recommend this to anyone.

The mats were rolling everywhere and the coaches sat and watched. The obstacle course wasn't very safe. The barrels roll and the coaches would just kind of push them back and the next kid would run over it and it would roll again. Such a disappointment! Do not recommend at all.

They told us she didn't make an All Star team at all, only the mini prep team. She was devastated. She worked two years towards her tumbling and stunts. She was already doing mini prep the year prior. She learned and perfected handsprings and many other skills prior to her first year of mini prep, but it was our first year of cheer so we accepted it, but a second season of mini prep is not acceptable for her with her skills. So we decided we would try out at several gyms just to find out if GEA was right or wrong. Yep, GEA was totally wrong to place my daughter on Mini prep a second year, according to all the other All Star gyms. My daughter made level 2 All Star at every location she tried out for. So what did we do? We packed our bags and moved on to another gym. Couldn't be happier that we did. Half of the All Star coaches, office staff and both owners are fake at GEA. If you are there favorite and fake like them this is the best place for you. If you question them they will treat you like a snake, for asking. My daughter was treated unfairly by the owner several times. She would come home crying and crying when I told her she had to go to cheer practice at GEA. My daughter moved to a different gym. She goes and comes home a happy girl now. She has come so far at her new All Star gym. At her new All Star gym they treat her like she matters and she is off soon to compete at Nationals in Orlando Florida. We are looking good and confident. Even if we don't win, we are happy just to be free from GEA. Her coach at her new gym and her tumbling gym all say she is ready to try out for level 3 now. If we were at GEA not sure they would let her move up. They tend to try and keep the girls stale. Unless you are their favorite and yes, they have those favorite girls. Those favorite girls are turning out like them at GEA fake and they will treat your girl badly and get away with it. However, don't stick up for yourself there against those mean favorite girls because they won't get into trouble, you will. If you're not their favorite you will get into trouble for sticking up for yourself against them. I would not recommend this gym. I would recommend if you are a real honest person keep looking around for a gym that treats you and your kids with respect and kindness. We were not the only family who left this gym because of how they were treated. I know a lot of those people who left. They are so much happier now. Tryouts coming soon. My daughter will be trying out for level three but not at GEA. Never ever again.

She has a full community separate from her school friends that love, support, and encourage her to do what she loves. I will tell you that cheer was the last thing on my mind when it came to what I wanted for my daughter - simply because of the harsh and negative experiences I have heard from other mothers from other cheer programs (local and afar). I prayed on it, and after months of tumbling with Just Tumble, I was comfortable with taking the leap into this crazy world called cheer. My son does competitive sports, so I thought I knew what I was getting into, but the level of community that is within this program is unmatched. My daughter loves every minute of the grind, and it loves her right back. Just Tumble, home if GEA, bolsters a full tumbling program with unlimited tumbling packages for GEA athletes. GEA instills integrity and character into its young athletes, while respecting their youthfulness. Johnny and his team have a very unique teaching method. Funny and joyful but firm and clear. I can see how they help the kiddos learn to focus and be more attentive. We love the circle time where they talk about a moral or a concept. They repeat the store many times to make sure the kiddos get the message. I signed the contract, I brought my daughter for about 5? Classes. On the 5th class there is 3 orange cones they set out have the kids run up to them when the yell the magic word and they were supposed to touch to cone and run back and hit their stance. My daughter was BRAND NEW, the drill was NOT explained I sat there and watched I was one of the only parents not on my phone. The instructor yelled the word my child bolted the opposite way. She came back the word was yelled again... again my child bolted the opposite way. With NO explanation a simple "run to the cone" was not said. The instructor now is next to my child ... yells the word and he almost expected her to bolt (she tried) he grabbed her upper arm and tapped her face with two fingers right by her ear. ABSOLUTELY NOT OKAY IN ANY CIRCUMSTANCE!!!!!!!!! I (as a professional coach even just a mother) WOULD NEVER EVER .... Grab a child OR even tap their face. I was EXTREMELY uncomfortable and even embarrassed that my child didn't understand the drill and was not explained the drill. I never came back, I kept paying but I cannot bring her back here. As a domestic violence survivor this situation made me extremely uncomfortable to speak up about. My child is 4 you NEVER grab or get physically frustrated WITH A CHILD. The instructors name is Johnny. When your payment does not go through (I keep my card locked) they call you and harass you and INSTANTLY charge your card before you even can finish your sentence!!!! Stay away!! They clearly are money hungry and CLEARLY have not had ANY safesport training.

There are a huge number of dancers, and the fact they can coordinate all of the competitions, activities, shows, information, etc. just shows how important this all is to the studio. The teachers are professional and there are so many options for helping your child further their passion and development. The competition teams have bonding nights and activities throughout the season to build relationships and connection and it shows in how the dancers all treat each other. We had a similar parkour gym when living in San Diego and it was only $80 a month for you once a week Class and your member price for drop-in open play was $15, $10 if you brought in more than one kid and $20 for nonmembers... this place would have more members if their prices were more reasonable.

The teachers showed the kids what to do then leaned on the parents to do it with them. And finally one of them mentioned that the foam pit is only cleaned once a year. Ew. For the price and this experience, we won't sign up again.
