From the start of the planning process, until 12am on our wedding day, they never stopped showing how much attention to detail and passion they had for our wedding. We booked with beatfleet from a preferred list of vendors from our venue and the ease of the website and not having to dig too far, made me click that consultation button. We had our consultation meeting with Jorge and he really made it seem like they were invested in making this the best day for us. The packages were easy to understand and everything was laid out. No secrets. It wasn't until about maybe 30 days before the wedding, when Tina, our MC reached out to discuss the vibe we wanted for our wedding and music. Our wedding brought together Persian, Mexican, and American families, and Jeremy blended Persian, Mexican, and English music together perfectly. His mashups were amazing, every transition was seamless, and he knew exactly how to read the room and keep everyone on the dance floor. One of my favorite stories from the night was something I didn't even find out about until after the wedding. My aunt, who traveled all the way from Mexico, asked Jeremy if he could play "La Chona." I had told him beforehand that I didn't want guests making song requests, so he kindly let her know that the bride wasn't allowing requests. But once he realized she had traveled all the way from Mexico, he went back up to her and basically said, "There's no way you traveled all the way from Mexico and aren't going to dance to La Chona!" He played it, and everyone was dancing! The funny part is I actually LOVE La Chona and had completely forgotten to add it to my playlist! I'm SO glad Jeremy made the decision to play it. I didn't know any of this happened until my aunt told me afterward, and hearing that made me so happy. That moment says so much about Jeremy. He genuinely cares about his couples and their families, reads the room, and knows when to trust his instincts to create a special moment. And Jeremy was so much more than just our DJ. Wedding planning can be incredibly stressful, and there were times when he literally talked me through my stress and made me feel like everything was going to be okay. My dad was also really nervous about giving his speech, and Jeremy took the time to talk to him and reassure him. My dad ended up doing AMAZING, and that meant so much to me. Jeremy always told me, "Don't worry, I got you." BELIEVE HIM. He also told us, "We could do your wedding tomorrow." Believe that too!! He knows exactly what he's doing. Everything was perfect. The music, the energy, the mashups, the transitions, the way he handled our multicultural families, and most importantly, the way he treated us and our guests. It never felt random or forced, and people were dancing the entire night. One thing we especially appreciated was that we are very much not "Top 40 people," and Kyle totally understood that. He helped start the evening with music we actually listen to and enjoy (classic rock, bluegrass vibes, etc.) before transitioning naturally into more dance-heavy music later in the night. He also absolutely nailed the transition from the first dances into opening up the dance floor. We requested "The Payback" by James Brown -- our 3.5-year-old's favorite song -- and it immediately got people laughing, dancing, and set the tone for the rest of the night. He was also great at reading the room and rolling with unexpected moments. I am generally not a karaoke person whatsoever, but he let my 6-year-old cousin do an impromptu singalong to a K-pop Demon Hunters song she had apparently been practicing all weekend.
