They paid attention and got everything correct, even the delivery was within the requested time frame. They have specials so we ordered Christmas flowers last week and she loved the red carnations especially within the red pitcher with a cardinal on it! The delivery gal knocked on her door while she was painting and presented her with the bouquet in such a caring manner. It was just like the picture posted on website. My uncle is currently receiving end-of-life care at a hospital in the Sacramento area. I'm in Pennsylvania and, unfortunately, won't be able to be there with him during his final days. I wanted to send flowers as a small way of being present, even from across the country. I placed my order on Monday, and Everest promptly fulfilled it, with confirmation that the arrangement had been delivered to the hospital. Unfortunately, somewhere within the hospital, the flowers disappeared. Despite confirmation of delivery, the hospital was unable to locate them, and two days passed without the arrangement ever reaching my uncle's room. Throughout this ordeal, the florist was incredibly responsive, compassionate, and proactive. He followed up with me personally, even reaching out in the evening to ask whether the flowers had been located. When I explained the circumstances surrounding my uncle's condition and why the timing was so important, he didn't hesitate. He personally delivered a replacement arrangement to the hospital to make sure my uncle received his flowers. I want to emphasize that the original arrangement was delivered successfully. This was not a mistake on the florist's part, and he had absolutely no obligation to take responsibility for something that happened after the flowers left his care. But he did anyway. At a time when I'm feeling pretty helpless being so far away from someone I love, that level of kindness and personal attention means more than I can adequately express. There are businesses that provide good customer service, and then there are people who genuinely care about the human beings on the other side of a transaction. This florist is unquestionably the latter. Thank you for bringing a little compassion into an incredibly difficult week. I won't forget it, and I cannot recommend this business highly enough.
