One of the things we loved most was that, even though everyone worked under the same company, we were still able to choose the specific professionals we wanted from their roster of talent. It gave us the perfect balance of convenience and personalization. We were fortunate to have Andrea as our photographer, Hai as our videographer, DJ Tri as our DJ and MC, and Brad as our officiant--and every single one of them exceeded our expectations. Andrea was absolutely amazing to work with. She was creative, patient, made us feel comfortable in front of the camera, captured every meaningful moment so naturally, and was always one step ahead in anticipating the perfect shot. Our wedding photos turned out so beautifully and brings us to happy tears. We cannot wait to cherish these photos for the rest of our lives. Hai did an incredible job capturing the details, emotions and special moments throughout our day. He was extremely professional, creative, knew how to get the best footage/lighting, and somehow managed to document everything without ever feeling intrusive. We fully trusted Hai in documenting our wedding day. We are confident that our wedding film that Hai produces will allow us to relive the magic of our special day for years to come. DJ Tri completely understood the vibe we wanted for our wedding. We hired a string quartet for our ceremony and cocktail hour, and DJ Tri provided his own sound system in order to amplify their music. For the reception, he kept the energy exactly where it needed to be, and transitioned the music we requested so well throughout the evening (from island reggae, to country music, to hip hop). He also kept the timeline running smoothly and made every transition feel seamless. Brad was the perfect officiant for our wedding. He delivered a meaningful ceremony that felt personal, genuine, and truly reflected us as a couple. We received so many compliments from our guests about how beautiful the ceremony was. What stood out most about Elegant Events Media was how seamlessly everyone worked together. There was clear communication, coordination, and teamwork throughout the entire planning process and on the wedding day itself. All around, the venue is beautiful and offers great amenities - the package upgrades are totally worth it - plus very picturesque settings. When it comes to upgrades, I will note that something I noticed during our initial tour and their spring showcase was that the champagne chairs are pretty damaged. I would definitely recommend that the team replace those if possible. Otherwise, I highly recommend upgrading to the photobooth if possible! The day of, everything was beautiful. Keilah was incredibly organized even while navigating through delays at our separate ceremony venue. Summer was also amazing at everything and made us feel like we didn't even have to worry about the itinerary after taking over later in the night for Keilah - apart from a slight delay in handing out LED party sticks we had brought in to be distributed to the dance floor once the partying kicked up - which after a reminder from the groom to the best man and best man to staff was quickly sorted. Food was delicious with many of our guests complimenting it still - big thanks to Chef Jamil for stopping by our sweetheart table and going above and beyond for our day. We're unsure if it could have been freshly delivered from the bakery or if it was the kitchen, but we would have loved the cake to have been a little more thawed out by the cake cutting as it was still slightly frozen which did lead it to fall apart at that time and took away from the taste for us as the couple - the cake was thawed out in time for the guests slices though! We heard plenty of compliments from guests about the bartenders service so big thanks to Kelly and Becca who were also so kind during clean-up! When it comes to preferred vendors through Wedgewood, we highly recommend API Photography - Daniel was absolutely fantastic and even folded our groomsmens pocket squares beautifully before the ceremony - I will update with pictures once I receive them because I know that definitely helped me in my search! Pretty Sweet Bakery was great to work with as well, offering affordable packages, great flavor options, and providing beautiful guest favors. Working with Tamara and Brittany from Carriage House Farms (florals) was my favorite. They are passionate about what they do and understand navigating affordability. They are incredibly talented and communicate promptly. We would have loved earlier and more consistent communication from the DJ company that Wedgewood recommended as we had no communication from them until a week before the wedding. Thankfully the Wedgewood team was able to send over our playlist and itinerary ASAP and once we connected with our DJ, Michael, he was incredible to work with and extremely energetic and enthusiastic - even letting the brother of the bride on the decks at one point - resulting in a very fun and memorable night!!
