I made an appointment here after a lot of rave on social media. First things first, the office is so beautiful which makes you feel extra comfortable. Although the location is tucked away- Shauna helped me in finding the building quickly by responding to my text/call immediately. All the staff are very friendly. I was slightly nervous since it would be my first time but Shauna went over everything with me before hand and made me feel comfortable- I got the underarm special 3 treatments for $100 (SO WORTH IT!) Like most people you ask who have done laser, laser is nothing compared to waxing the pain is either equal or way less... Underarm treatment took only 10 minutes and I was good to go. As far as down time, none at all. I can't speak for any other areas on the body- but after the first treatment I was already seeing results. LA LASER has by far exceeded all my expectations thus far! My friend Bree who works there has reached out to me a few times to get lasered. It wasn't until they gave out the Black Friday specials did I budge, and let me tell you it's so much better than the other laser place I've tried out! I've had about 4 session's now at LA Laser with Deedra for my armpits and a Brazilian. At first I was so hesitate about the whole laser process (I was scared it was gonna hurt) but Deedra was very informative and very knowledgeable about the work she does. If you have a lower pain tolerance they have a numbing cream but honestly for me the pain is not bad. Deedra walks you through the process step by step. She made me feel very comfortable through the whole appointment. She has incredible bedside manner and it's an amazing experience every time I go. I love going to LA laser. It's such a cute office with plenty of parking. A little confusing how to get there if it's your first time but they give great directions with a picture. DEEDRA is the tech I go to and she's always friendly and quick and explained everything so that you're not too scared about the pain. I have got to say that I was shocked with the results! After the first treatment I could see a change in how fast my hair would grow and the thickness. I have thick underarm hair and it grows fast BUT after the FIRST session my hair was growing slower and thinner! You don't know how great it is to not have to shave every other day! If you have been considering laser hair removal... just do it!! I have been going to this place for 6 months now and have done my first 6 sessions and I'm obsessed. When I tell you that I had THICK dark hair in the bikini area I'm not kidding. I would have stubble the next day after shaving and would have some of the worst razor burn. Tomorrow is my last session for my 6 session packages. I got the underarm and Brazilian packages. I was so excited from the beginning. After the first session I was so amazed with my results! Shauna is so sweet. She made me feel comfortable with my body. And now my insecurities about my body hair are pretty much gone. My underarms and my Brazilian are so smooth. Tip: try not to miss a session. I had to go almost 8 weeks between one and I had a new growth cycle. Luckily it didn't effect my process too much. Also I've heard the numbing cream wasn't necessary but I got it every time anyways just so I was comfortable. I am addicted to this place. At first I was only planning on doing my Brazilian. But then did my full face and now thinking about doing my legs too. And who knows maybe other places too. I went to Q Laser about 19 years ago to do my underarms. I love the fact that i no longer have hair under my arms but it was painful. When I came to LA Laser I did my Brazilian and since my previous experience was painful. I asked for the numbing cream. But there was no pain what so ever. So I wasn't sure if it was due to the new technology or the numbing cream worked. So the next time I tried with no numbing cream. And still no pain. The girls are very friendly and welcoming. I feel so comfortable when i go there. I've been telling all my friends and they have gone too. And did I mention the price is good also. So if your thinking about it. I have been going to L.A. Laser Hawaii (Kaneohe) since 2019. I always have an amazing experience. I've had a few different technicians over the years (previously Deedra and another tech while my current tech was on a trip.) I currently go to Tashena. I love her! She's truly an awesome technician and so friendly. Tashena always makes you feel comfortable. I always look forward to going to her for my appointments. When I first started in 2019 I was only doing my underarms but I recently started to do my Brazilians and I'm so glad I did! I never got a Brazilian wax previously to laser so I didn't know what to expect. The difference is crazy! I have very thick and dark hair with lighter skin so seeing how barely noticeable my hair is was shocking even after a few sessions! (I shouldn't have been surprised since the same results happened with my underarms) I've already recommended my loved ones to L.A. Laser Hawaii and they had a great experience as well. TBH I think this is my first review I'm ever doing on Yelp. Been here 3 times for their underarm special and I saw results right after the first treatment. Had to travel to Waimanalo first since their Kaneohe location was still under construction but I was able to find the new location easily when I went for my 3rd appt. A lot of medical stuff to fill out but it's for good reasons of course . The sessions were only like 5 minutes for underarm and Shauna is very nice and laid back. The underarms were not painful; just felt like a quick prick with the laser and if you can handle waxing it's a lot more tolerable. Going back to start their $99 monthly special. I am definitely obsessed with Laser! The ladies here are very friendly and helpful! It's super easy to make an appointment! I did the 3 treatment for underarm special, only $100!! Totally worth it! 1st session - I was very nervous but they make you feel very comfortable! The pain from 1-10 I'd have to say it was a 5. It only took a minute. 1 week after my first session I only shaved ONCE. 2nd session (3-4 weeks later) Pain level from 1-10 I would have to say it was a 7. It's been 2 weeks and I still haven't shaved! My hair grew back thinner and less. I love it! Can't wait to do my 3rd session! Looking forward to doing other treatments in other areas! My first appointment here was very informative. Shauna covered pretty much all of my questions without me having to ask. And the procedure was much faster than I thought it was going to be. I love how fast it was and I love how hairless my armpits have been since then! Shauna started me off on the lowest setting but I've seen the results I want already. Very happy about my results! I've done laser treatments in the past with older laser machines that required application of a gel for treatment and it just gets messy. Don't be afraid of the word laser! Sounds painful but it was definitely PAINLESS! Not gonna lie I was very scared and skeptical about doing laser. I asked my coworkers if they've gotten anything laser prior to my appointment and one of my coworkers said they got burnt on the place they went too. So this got me even more worried. The day of my appointment came and everything went smooth! The ambiance of the salon was modern and clean and the staff was very nice and welcoming. There was quiet a bit of paperwork but the when it came to the lasering it was so fast! Filling out paperwork was longer than the actual procedure.
