Since then I've been taking my car here and only have good things to say about their business and specifically about their service shop team. Omar is hand-on for a great customer service. Very honest and straightforward guy. I have taken my Toyota Venza here a few times for different reasons and always leave with a sense of peace and a problem less in my shoulders. Pricing is very reasonable and they have always been on point when finding the exact issue and getting it fixed very quickly. I need to state that I'd used this shop off and on for minor service on a Japanese luxury car which was 15 years old. My opinion soured b/c I asked them for a control arm replacement price estimate, and went to a Lexus shop a few months later and they claimed the work done was inferior-using glue on points of mounting (rather than Lexus bushings or OEM compliant parts). When I thought to give them another chance on a minor issue a year or so later, the guy who wrote up the last service goes "oh you asked us for repairs and then you went elsewhere", chiding me! I replied "I have the right to get estimates" (I didn't tell him their work was inferior on the prior job they'd done). He just walked off, and I told myself never to go there again. IF you do go there, make sure you insist on original equipment mf. parts (brake pads, all the bits)..but of course I'd recommend not going.

I accepted his offer of $1,150 for the repairs and get the work going leaving the car there at the workshop. He offered a rental car, but refused and called my wife to pick me up at the workshop. On the following day afternoon, I called him up expecting car would be ready bynthen, but he said that the mechanic was still working on and told me that he would call me when the car is ready. He also told me that there are two additional problems with a pair of rear struts that need to be replaced( He told me that they were old, but OK the day before when I brought the car over) which I found rather surprising. Anyway, he never called me on that afternoon. On the following day in the morning, I called him up, but his secretary picked up the phone: she told me that the repairs have been done and getting an inspection sticker and she will call me within 3O minutes. I waited for 30 minutes, but no call was made( February 7,2020 10:10 a.m.), so I called the office again: the secretary told me that she was about to call me back and asked me to come to pick up the car. When I entered the office, Llyod could not be seen. Instead, I found a bill laid on his table. The bill shows $300 more than the amount that we mutually agreed upon. I pointed out the discrepancy to the secretary, and asked where is Llyod. She told me that Lloyd is gone for next couple of days. I was pissed!! Lloyd lies and Lloyd cheats!!! He wants to rip off the people's hard earned money. Lloyd is type of a man who say something favorable to my ears and get the work going, but then later he revert what he promised and say something different.

I was told that shops do charge to run diagnostics and that $209 was very high, especially given that the charge will not offset the cost of the repair. My agent suggested that I go to AutoZone and for $10 they can retrieve the code that might give a clue as to what the problem is. Among the possible causes for the engine-light was loose gas cap. Low and behold, that was it and for $10 I solved the problem that Sullivan tire would have charged me $209 to discover. Why didn't the technician at the front suggest that before trying scamming me out of $209 unnecessarily? Does he know that? I'm sure he does and Sullivan tire does as well. I'll spend my money elsewhere in the future.
