Wasn't overly crowded and several tables were available. A table which was just vacated was quickly wiped off and the owner sat me at that table. The table was wet and was dirty. There were paper droppings all over the floor around the table (see picture). I went back to the cash register and asked the owner to reseat me and I showed him the dirty table. He reseated me and went right back to the cash register. Then he immediately sat a couple at that same table without cleaning it. At my new table, I picked up the menu and there was a food chunk stuck to it (see picture). Gross. Also 3-5 flies hovering around throughout my meal. I had been to Kelly's many times but never saw this kind of filth and carelessness. I was ready to walk out when my server came and I decided to stay. Service and food were good as usual for Kelly's. I think what happens when a place becomes successful, apathy sets in. Kellys is such a local staple that I guess the owner doesn't need to care enough about cleanliness any more. If the dining room was this bad I can't imagine the kitchen area or the rest rooms. Again, food and service were good but I don't think I will be going back there for a while. I'd like to see a few Chester County inspections first. Too bad because I like Kelly's. Two-Star for Kelly's onlt on the strength of their food and service.

They had their specials listed, and one of them was buffalo chicken "tot chos ", "Tater tots, topped with smoked and shredded buffalo chicken, diced jalapeños, white cheddar cheese sauce, bacon, shredded cheddar, and topped with celery salt and spicy ranch dressing." I will say, that what they gave me was delicious! The kids that were working there, were personable, friendly, and funny. The customer service was great. Someone should have taught them how to make the special the way it's presented. I got ripped pieces of fried chicken tenders , on top of tater tot's with slices of jalapeños, shredded cheddar, (I'm not sure if the cheddar sauce was on there or not), bacon, and the spicy ranch dressing on the side. I don't know if the celery salt was there either. I would love to see and taste what it supposed to be like if I ever get that opportunity. I will definitely go back if not just for the customer service, but to try some of the burgers and other things on their menu. It all sounds fantastic. I just hope it's made the way that it's stated on the menu.
