I got my eyebrows waxed here. Unfortunately it was too long ago to remember who did them. I do remember that the atmosphere was nice and relaxing and they did a good job, even with my bump prone sensitive skin. I recommend it. read more

I had Sarah for brows and Angela for brazilian... and BOTH were total rock stars! My brows were expertly shaped and the brazilian was professional and thorough. I highly recommend them if you get waxed regularly- they are clearly pros! read more

Quick and great brazillians. Good experience better than Habitude or Gene Juarez.

FIve stars for Wax On and especially Ruxandra. Great service and comfortable atmosphere. When I left a message for an appointment, it was returned promptly and professionally, and my appointment was smooth... pun intended. read more

The first time I ever went to Wax on, it was about 3-4 years ago. I don't remember the gal that did it but she was awesome! And now that I live in Seattle, I got back to getting waxed at Wax On Spa in Belltown. Just started again recently. I'm very happy with Gina. She's really sweet, and does an awesome job! Professional Salons for hair removal are typically pretty expensive, so I guess they are too, but so worth it! read more

LOVE this place! They ladies at Wax On Belltown are always so friendly, flexible and accommodating. I found this place after relocating to Seattle from the midwest. I love that I can walk to Wax On, and even more that my eyebrows look amazing after a visit. It's such a great treat and provides an instant make over for my face :) read more

Go to Wax On. Seek out Stephanie. She's fabulous. She works so quickly it's almost unbelievable. Seriously. I used to spend an hour getting waxed every few weeks, but she gets me in and out in a matter of minutes. Plus, she has a wonderful little trick to distract you from the pain: just as she's pulling the muslin strip off she'll give you a little spank on the leg. Works like a charm. And she IS just plain charming- always has a good story or a fabulous recommendation for me. While you're there, do yourself a favor and pick up some Wax On Rose Butter. I stock up every couple of months because it comes and goes sporadically. Smells like heaven and moisturizes your skin like nothing else. read more

Wax On Spa does an amazing job! I absolutely love Sara! If you are in need of any waxing services, go see Sara!

If you need a wax, go to Wax On Spa! Oh and Sandy is the greatest!! I have not been able to go to Wax On in a few months due to the economy, plus I'm a student, but I think they have the best prices around, they are very gentle, and they really get to know you and remember when you come back! I love the decor inside and they even sell lingerie. I love how they call you to remind you about your appointment and all of the employees are super friendly. I highly highly recommend Was On Spa! read more

I really like this place! I always do the Brazilian waxing with Nicky she is awesome and it doesn't hurt too much! If you go each 5 weeks you have to pay 55 good deal for the good people and the cozy place read more

Still a regular customer and still receiving great waxing from Brandi! She is the best, go and see her!

Another great appointment at Wax On. Getting the job done with comfort and efficiency. Kudos to Alex.

Go see Alex. Have her wax you-anywhere. She'll do it and do it expertly. Have her tint your eyebrows. She'll get the color exactly right and it will stay that way for weeks. Reasonably priced, professional, laid back, and a tempting collection of French lingerie. read more

Great place! I felt very comfortable as I was half naked on the table and the tech did a terrific job. No complaints - highly recommended!!!! read more

I've been going to Melissa since October 2012 and I'm glad I switched from my other wax person. Melissa is gentle, professional, quick, and I feel comfortable when getting my legs and Brazilian wax services done. She keeps a watch on my skin to make sure it's in good shape and gives me tips about how to get the smoothest waxing results. I go every 5 weeks to stay smooth and save time. It's great to not use a razor - no more nicks or cuts. read more

I have tried other waxing spas and nothing comes close to Wax On! Scheduling an appointment with anybody has always worked great here - however I highly recommend Athena. She listens to what you want and delivers perfection! I go to her for brazilians and brows - quick, low pain and beautiful results! read more

Wow! Considering that waxing isn't the most pleasant experience in the world, Wax On Salon really does a fantastic job making up for it! The salon is small, but clean, well lit and professional. The staff were really friendly and helpful - my wax was one of the quickest, most efficient ones I've ever had! I also felt very comfortable (which is important for a bikini). The Shea butter finish cream - perfect. Would most definitely go back again!!! read more

Alex is a fantastic choice. Cheerful, compassionate, and filled with a joyful and kind energy, Alex is very thorough and will take the extra time to hunt down challenging spots. She is my favorite waxer because she always puts me at ease and does a quality job. I really like her work and recommend her highly -- also if you love arts & local culture and theatre (which I love) you will enjoy her music taste!! read more

I've been seeing Alex for awhile for Brazilians and she is awesome!!! She does an amazing job, very thorough and as pain free as a Brazilian can be. She is so warm, friendly and easy to talk to. Definitely recommend going to see her. read more

Fast, friendly, and fabulous. They are the best! Love the Wax On, and their ads tickle my funny bone!! They also understand the value of said waxee body part and treat it respectfully. All of the staff is very nice. I would actually drive (gasp! Use fossil fuel?!!!) to go here. read more

The what - first time brazilian, full (why bother with the "landing strip" really? I mean if you are going to all the trouble of having everything else taken off????) The who - Sandy Roden, esthetician The how, when, where etc...waxed it all off...Great experience...left making a followup maintenance appt, that as I read here are discounted w/i 5wks... Also, on advice read here and elsewhere, I did take something ahead of time to take the edge off any excessive pain(say a handful of advil and/or something stronger-I mean why suffer?????), and let's face it nerves...and on getting there, took a shot of the proffered tequila sitting out...again, why not? I rarely drink or even take much advil, but, again, why suffer unnecessarily was my thought? I was nervous, as well, and why worry about freaking out? Anywho, Sandy totally delivered, it was an easy comfortable experience, barely flinched the whole time, and I left thinking it was easier than the brow waxes I have gotten(elsewhere).......seriously...perhaps I should try a shot or so for those too...I am kidding. Moreover, it was so much less awkward than stories I have read / heard etc...no awkward positioning, no helping pull skin, etc...really easy! The whole concept of the brazilian...that is just so popular now, had previously left me curious, and I was suddenly motivated to try it out...this first, experience has left me willing to keep it up, or rather off. Great salon, and Sandy was fabulous, highly recommend! read more

Best ever! Ruxandra has been my esthetician for years and she does the best bikini wax in the area! Hands down, I've had to make appointments with others when she's not availalble (or my schedule can't accomodate)and no one comes near to the quality. She is very thorough and wants you to get a great wax every time! She is fantastic! read more

I've been going here for a couple years now. Shelly rocks! Personable, efficient, professional.

After going on and off for a few years I would have to say I am not gong back. The technician did not listen and I am extremely disappointed in the outcome. read more

Wax On is known as "the home of the Brazilian" and they most certainly are. I have been getting Brazilians done for almost five years and have never found a place better than Wax On. (I have tried three other places in the Seattle/Bellevue area and none even compare.) Sara is my waxer and she is wonderful - charismatic, fun and, most importantly, EXTREMELY good at her job. The ONLY reason that I am giving them 4 stars instead of 5 is the lack of a receptionist. (As echoed in other reviews.) I don't think that I should have to walk into the Salon and not be greeted by someone. I also don't think that my waxer should have to be the one to run my credit card. They are particular about what qualifies as a maintenance wax vs. a full, but they have to make money too! read more

I'm going to try to make this quick. The client before me had a brazillian done. The same lady then did my brows. She did not wash her hands. Having her hands all around my face when they smell of some other chicks who-ha is not a pleasant experience! YUCK!! Will not be returning. read more

I wish I could post pictures of my eyebrow burns. This place is dangerous. I saw Alex on the 27th of December 2016 for a male maintenance eyebrow wax (keep the uni-brow away, etc). It doesn't take much waxing at all to do this right and I am usually out of other places in 5-10 minutes. After she was done, I knew immediately that there was something wrong but I had no idea how bad it would be until the next day. Walking out of the storefront, I could barely open my left eye, scorching pain in both eyes. The following day, that persisted but the burns were blistered and red. People at work were asking if I got hit in the face... saying, "Oh my god! what happened!!??" That day I called them to give them a chance to offer me a refund and good grace in the form of some kind of treatment/ help to get this repaired. I really just want my face back to normal. I NEVER HEARD BACK FROM THE MANAGER. The receptionist, a pleasant girl named Jessica, gave me a ring and told me that the manager would give me a call but it has been 4 days and I have not heard from them. These burns were 100% not caused by the products that I was using. I'm a guy!-- I use moisturizer and sunscreen on my face... not peels and stuff that would be an issue. I have gotten eyebrows waxed at other places without issue before. Do not go to this location for your brows or anything else. read more

I live in San Francisco and went to Seattle for an unexpected business trip an year back. I needed a quick service that evening and went to this place. The reason I am writing this review after an year is because everytime I get my eye brows done, I miss this place. I do not remember the name of the beautiful lady who did the job for me but I do remember that she was super amazing! She spent a good time and left my eyebrows the best I have ever had. I remembering telling her that "I can feel that you have an artistic hand". I have hardly cared enough to write any reviews on yelp, but this one made me go an extra mile :) read more

Received an amazing wax! Great spot, service, and expertise! I'll be back! I was able to book an appointment and get in the next day. I'm already for my tropical vacation! Thanks Wax on spa! read more

I'm giving this place two stars, because although most of the waxes I've gotten there have been good, it's nearly impossible to get an appointment unless you rebook when you go. They don't have a receptionist, so you have to leave a message with your desired time and then wait for someone to call you back. On more than one occasion, I've called and left a message and then received a voicemail saying my desired time was available and I just had to call back and confirm. I've called back to confirm and left another message only to get a call back saying that the appointment was no longer available. Last night, I called back within 10 minutes of receiving the call and left a message, only to receive a call this morning that in those 10 minutes, they had filled the appointment. They supposedly let you request an appointment online. I've tried that, too, received confirmation that my request had been received and I would receive a call to confirm, only to never hear from them again. So, while the waxing itself isn't bad, it's not worth the hassle of trying to book an appointment. read more

I have been getting my face waxed for over 30 years. I can count 2 bad experiences. This place is one of them. The place seemed clean enough. The girl was friendly. After I had my browser, lip, China and hairline done, I had some redness, the next day I had a terrible rash and pimple like eruptions. I assume this was from double dipping...yucky. the owner did not care. Please go elsewhere, I wish that I had. read more

A friendly atmosphere, on my last visit I saw Sarah at the location on Wall Street. She was super friendly, took extra care to do a great job, was meticulous in her work, and was warm, kind and caring. I'd highly recommend seeing her and was glad she was at the Wall Street location. read more

Yesterday I had my first official Seattle eyebrow wax and it was the best waxing job I've ever had in my life!! It was the first "official" because I've had one since I moved here, but it was done in Alaska and was HORRIBLE! Anyways...the lady was sooo nice and super educated. She's taking calculus for fun?? Who does that...definitely not your waxing lady...right? She used to be a makeup artist, so she's really good at what she does. Well, she starts waxing and it seems like she just took a crapload of eyebrows off...so I'm like...oh crap I didn't tell her I just wanted them cleaned up, so maybe she's totally shaping them...she continues to wax...very carefully...and then the usual after-plucking...it seems like she's going crazy...so she's finished and shows me a mirror and I take a deep breath and say yay!! I told her I realized I hadn't told her I just wanted them "cleaned up" and she told me I didn't look like someone who got my eyebrows super shaped...I was like yeah I'm going to Houston and if I showed up with super-shaped eyebrows everyone would have wondered what Seattle had done to me. Anyways...Stephanie is the greatest waxer ever!! read more

I've been going for years and seeing Sarah, a SU alum who is GREAT at waxing!!! Did I say great? I meant AWESOME. Personable, efficient, quick as lightening, friendly, and professional. If I have one "negative", it's that the managers have relocated her to Freakmont, more or less, so her hours are now extremely limited. Bone-headed move, if you ask me. Her clients are here in Seattle, and we like to get "defurred" during lunch hour! So now I don't go as much as it's more difficut to get in to see her during such limited timeframes. Other than that, this place is Da Bomb. read more

The Belltown location carries on the Wax On standards. I can always find an appt that fits my schedule and I've had three qualified aestheticians at this location. Today, a super underarm wax with Alex. She creates a safe place to talk frankly about skin care! read more

I just went to Wax On for the first time as I just moved to Seattle from Chicago. I was amazed!! Best Brazilian I have EVER had! Ruxandra was great. This girl knows how to wax, and also said that when I come back if she isn't available that her co-workers are great too. I love that she supports others there too. read more

Best Brazillian ever, and that's saying something. It's as comfortable as having all of your pubic hair torn out by a woman you've never met before can be. I've had great waxes in this town and terrible waxes in this town and this is one of the best. Masuimi made me feel very comfortable though I don't think that she is a regular at this location, but if you can catch her I highly recommend her. read more

this i sthe wax on ocation i preffer to frquant. fast clean and friend i couldnt ask for more. the clothes and panties they sell here are cute too. honestly if you need to get waxed just come to WAX ON. think about it.....thats all these girls do all day every day they have to be the best in town. read more

Easy to get an appointment, and points for cleanliness. But, it must have been amateur hour here when I visited, judging by the other reviews. That or Seattle doesn't know what they're missing. Took FOREVER and the girl didn't know what she was doing...uneven, not well done, etc. Also super expensive for a wax in 2012. read more

So happy I found this place. How can you not love a waxing place that gives out free shots? It was my first time getting waxes and Carly (sp?) was very informative and kind. The girl who took my appointment was also very informative. I think Carly did a wonderful job. I had a Brazilian, lower leg, and brow waxing and it didn't hurt too much, was quick, and had no stragglers. Like Carly says "no man left behind". Nobody tried to upsell me on shit I didn't need. A few broken hairs but no big deal. Over all a great experience, especially for a first timer. Totally felt private and safe. read more
