Jenna was amazing and very sweet. I've only been waxed twice both here and both from Jenna, she was very calm, even when I almost caught her in the head the first time. She helped keep me talking the first time and I chattered the second time to distract myself and she was nice enough to keep the conversation going with me. I always try to request her now just because I know she knows what she's doing and what to expect every time. Apart from the service, the atmosphere is really calm, which is definitely needed. And everyone else I've met from there is really nice. read more

Got my first Brazilian here, it was much less scary and less painful than I thought it would be. Amy did a great job and had a great "bedside manner." She also had me breathe and exhale before the hardest bits and that was a great help. The prices are comparable with other establishments, but I like that they are eco-friendly and use inexpensive products like 100% witch hazel (which you can pick up an any drugstore, Whole Foods, etc.) It' a bit of a schlep, but it's a fun neighborhood to grab a meal or a piece of pie in before or afterward. read more

Angie is awesome. I have seen her twice and each time my experience was great. She is a good conversationalist, makes you feel comfortable and does an amazing job that is quick and relatively painless. read more

After long hesitation I decided to get my first Brazilian. Connie was great! She made me feel very comfortable during the entire process. I also got my brows done and the process was nearly painless! This is my new place for all my waxing needs! read more

This is by far my favorite waxing place and I have visited a lot of places! Very professional, the best waxing job I've ever experienced, fast (comparatively), and not too painful. I live down south now and I have still made time to go and visit. I wish I could make the happy hour specials sometime! I would highly recommend Wax Sabbath! read more

I've gone here a number of times now and had pretty much every lady that works there wax me so I can say each experience has been great! I love the rock/artsy decor of the place and the feel it gives off. It's always a relaxing and friendly experience for sure. Be sure to hit up the happy hour specials. read more

My friend first told me about this place because she had bought a group on deal and has been going there regularly ever since. I've been getting Brazilians on and off for about 7 years now. My friend told me that Sandy, the owner used to work at WaxOn and that she was very good and thorough. I normally do my own Brazilians at home with hard wax, but it always took a long time because it's hard to see. One day I received a Yelp Deal with Wax Sabbath and decided to give it a try. I went to see Sandy just in time before my wedding. The decor was simple but nice. I kind of got a goth vibe upon entering, maybe it was the music playing? I'd say she did a pretty good job, but I think I usually am more thorough when I wax myself. I think it would be nice if they use hard wax because it's a lot less painful since I've experienced the traditional wax and hard wax for Brazilians, though I do have a pretty high tolerance for pain. I think I'll definitely go back to Sandy whenever I feel lazy to do my own. read more

Love the ladies at Wax Sabbath! The happy hour is a smoking deal. Totally worth the trip to Georgetown!

I went to Wax Sabbath because of the proximity to where I live but also because of the Yelp reviews. They have earned every one of those 5 stars! I had my first experience in sugaring and I am now a convert. Katrina was my aesthetician and she put me at ease and made the process as painless as possible (because let's be real folks, removing hair is never completely painless)! I am now a Wax Sabbath (Katrina) devotee! read more

Love love love the happy hour! They do a great job and are super quick! I come here routinely and won't go anywhere else!

I first heard of this place from the Tippr coupon that was offered in Aug 2011. I just used the coupon and visited for the first time. I left a message after hours and Sandy replied the next day to book my appointment. The place is great, decorated so nice and has that old brick building charm. There's even water and tea to serve. I arrived 30 minutes early (do to some anticipated construction on Airport Way S) and Amy was able to see me right away. She was smooth and fast. She was so great at what she does that I realized that for the past 2 years I must have been getting bad waxes at another salon. As soon as I left I told two girlfriends how wonderful the service was. They will be checking it out and I will be back...for sure! read more

I've now been to both locations (Georgetown & U District) and have seen Katrina both times for Brazilian & half leg. I am sold! She is amazing!!! She makes an otherwise awkward situation seem totally normal. She talks to you and tells great stories, so rather than cringing in pain (it doesn't hurt nearly as much as I expected) I was laughing and didn't even notice what was happening "down there". It's not painless, but it's minimal and passes quickly. Both locations are very clean and relaxing and have a really nice comfortable feel. I've done the sugar for both Brazilians. I've done both wax & sugar on the legs and can now say that I think I prefer the sugar. It seems to have a smoother end result which I prefer. I will definitely be back and will recommend Katrina and Wax Sabbath to anyone who will listen!!! read more

I've see Jenna probably about 4 times for sugaring and I've always had a good experience here! The rooms are nice and warm, a plus for me since i'm always cold. Also, she's quick and we have good distracting conversations while she's doing it. As painless as it can be for a "hooha wax". No issues after with redness, bumps or irritations. read more

I really love Jenna ! She's the best. Quick. Painless. Makes you feel comfortable. Super nice ! Makes sure she gets everything the way you want it. I def recommend her ! read more

I went here because of a LivingSocial coupon and it's a great. Sandy definitely knows what she's doing. In addition to being friendly, she's fast and thorough, which means much less discomfort. The space is clean and well decorated. Everything else seemed as top-notch as any of the luxury spa places as I've been to. Only caveat: parking might be a bit difficult, as there is no dedicated parking for the business. read more

I've now gone here three times for a Brazilian and have gotten Angela each time. She is quick and precise, just what you want for this kind of service. She is very pleasant so I enjoy getting to chat with her, and it never takes away from her focus on getting the job done. I can't believe I found a good waxing place on my first try after moving to Seattle, but I am a loyal customer now! read more

Been twice, once for legs and once for the Brazilian. Awesome, professional experiences both times and can't beat the happy hour specials!

Found out about this place from yelp's deal for Brazillian and loved it! I forget her name, she has black hair and very pretty perfect white teeth, saw her twice for Brazillians and loved her service. She was fast, professional, friendly, and perfectionist i can tell b/c she made sure they're all gone by tweezing. She made me feel comfortable b/c gosh darn it i always feel nervous every single time like its the first time! The place is very clean and nice and the waxing bed and room was very hygienic and soothing. read more

They were able to work me in on relatively short notice, which I appreciate. The space is funky and old-fashioned, which I adore. This is the second time I've gone, and both techs have been friendly and efficient. Both good at sustaining conversations without awkward pauses (I'm not great at being chatty). And most importantly, they've both done very nice jobs, including going back over and plucking remnant hairs. Plus, I had my lower legs done, and when she was doing the back of my calves, she reached up and took out the approx. 5 dark hairs I have on the backs of my thighs. Overall, their pricing is good, their business aesthetic is great (love the sustainability) and they do a good job. Plus, you then have an excuse to visit the restaurants & shops of Georgetown, which is a neat and overlooked area. read more

After about a year of going to Wax Sabbath, I have to say I've continued to receive consistent, pleasant service. I've been seeing Jenna and she is the queen of the brow! She is sweet and knows her stuff. I had to see someone else twice due to my schedule and never again. She had a very heavy hand and did not really strike me as a "people person". read more

Abby is awesome! She talks the whole time making things go by quickly and never once was I uncomfortable or self conscious. The only thing that sucks is the parking but happy hour prices make up for that! read more

Sandy is amazing at what she does and is so friendly on top of it. She is very careful, clean and a perfectionist. I have go to her for several years now and love that she has her own space. There is no way anyone would be disappointed by visiting her for whatever service. The products she uses are top of the line and organic. Her space is very cool, extremely convenient and clean. Couldn't recommend her more! read more

Hmmm.....well, I went in here recently. I said "hi--how is your day going?" and the woman at the desk said, "oh, I've had better days." I said I was sorry, and she told me how bummed out she was that she couldn't be out in her garden, but she had to work. OK, that's a little weird to say to a new customer. She did wax my brows nicely, so that was good. But I have to say I didn't feel totally welcome, and I doubt I'll go back. Too bad, because it's a cute place. I must be alone in this, as there are tons of 5 star reviews. So maybe I'll try it one more time. Undecided. read more

I had a fabulous Brazillian here, one of the best waxing experiences I've ever had. It was quick, thorough but gentle and I enjoyed chatting with my waxer about the great music she was playing. I also appreciated the cute decor and the environmentally friendly practices--first time I've seen a compost bin in a spa! As a fat woman, I'm often a little nervous about getting such an intimate service from a stranger but Wax Sabbath made me feel comfortable with their non-judgmental friendliness. I'll be back! read more

you're kidding me right?! this place is a joke. came here thinking I would get a professional waxing but ended up feeling like I was trapped in a dungeon. the rooms are super warm and cramped, barely enough room for 1 person let alone 2. the lady that waxed me, "Abby" kept bumping into me and was super rough while stripping the wax off. I've had waxing treatments done before and this is by far the worst experience ever!! weeks after the treatment, I still have big red irritated bumps on my skin that will not seem to go away. this has never happened to my skin before EVER. definitely will not be coming back and will spread the word on how terrible this place is!! read more

So 3 years since my first review here and the customer service has always been amazing each time. I recently went in for a sugaring appointment and did not search for anyone in particular.. but luck was definitely on my side - because Jessica H. was my esthetician during that session. I have never laughed so hard while getting waxed or getting any similar type of service. What made the experience so much fun was not only her sheer knowledge of her craft, but her passion for the job and amazing sense of humor. After my first session with Jessica, I was wanting to book another appointment for a Brazilian service. And so I did - again not really paying too much attention to who I was booking.. but I'm pretty sure it was my subconscious that was drawn to book Jessica online at the time. So luck had been delivered a second time within a week, when I did my first Brazilian service with Jessica. Absolutely incredible, super informative throughout the session and taught me about home-care. And like before - laughing throughout the session while getting waxed down south. I'm hooked. She's only in Georgetown on Saturdays, but is worth the trip to U-district location. Hopefully more Georgetown availability in the future. Regardless of where though - she's amazing, thank you Jessica! read more

I've been to Wax Sabbath several times for Brazilian sugaring. Most of my experiences were great, one was so-so and left some painful bruising. However, the lady who's slayed the game every time is Jenna C! I cannot recommend her enough! It always turns out flawless and she's not afraid to get in there and make sure every last hair is gone. She's very efficient, yet never rushes the process, and her energy is calm and fluid and puts you right at ease. Book Jenna C - trust me! Additionally, the space is clean, comforting and professional. read more

I recently moved to Seattle, and had to find my new go-to spot for waxing. Fortunately, Wax Sabbath was the first place I tried and it was a success, I heart them. I'm always hesitant when getting a Brazilian wax at a new place because it's such a sensitive, uncomfortable procedure (I'm sure any woman can empathize), but the experience here was about as comfortable and painless as you can get!. My appointment was with Jenna, and she was awesome. Their happy hour prices can't be beat. I would definitely recommend them! read more

I have been getting Brazilian waxing for over 15 years and I can say that Wax Sabbath is the best in the city. CJ in particular is quick and really thorough. To be fair, everyone I have seen there has done a fantastic job! So glad I found this place. read more

WAX SABBATH IS AWESOME ! Great name, great location and AWESOME prices !!! Hilary is absolutely incredible !!! I've recently been in for a maintenance Brazilian, and wow was it exceptional !!! I have seen her now twice (once with sugar, once with wax) and she is very skilled with both, although I prefer wax. She is professional, very nice and understanding and tries to makes the service as quick as possible without rushing. Highly recommend Wax Sabbath!!! read more

I have been getting brazilians for 15 years and seen dozens of estheticians. Jenna is by far the best! She is incredibly fast and thorough. She gets you in & out in 20 minutes or less and that includes paying. She also somehow conducts the most painless brazilian I have ever had. Jenna is magic. read more

Omg, my taint ain't what it use to be. When I cannon ball at my local pool, let's just say it burns a little bit around the rim. Although my head shots shine great! read more

I highly recommend Wax Sabbath to anyone in the Seattle area or anyone new to waxing. Sandy (the owner) was my waxer and she was fantastic! She was very nice and really easy to talk to which gives the place a very calm atmosphere. She was courteous, very quick, and made the process fairly painless. She's definitely a pro and I strongly recommend her. It was definitely worth the drive for me from north Everett and I will certainly be a repeat customer! read more

I bought the Brazilian wax deal from this place because not only did I want to try a new place, but I could not pass up this really awesome deal! I had a wax lady who I saw for all my waxing services a little TMI but ladies you know what I'm talking about! You always want to go to the same person who not only makes you comfortable, but does a really good job! Well I'm in Seattle now and not in Hawaii so I have to find 'the one' haha lame I know, but I get really picky when it comes to getting pampered! Not going to lie! We all want the best for ourselves! The one thing that made me uncomfortable was how cold it was in the room. The lady was nice enough to turn the heater on, but I was still freezing. I was a little creeped out about the window in the room thinking there would be a scary mysterious creeper lurking on the other side.. I'm used to having no windows, period. The lady said that they would add sugaring to their services so I might have to check them out again. So 4 stars says Yay! I'm a fan! That's all I'll be for them :) read more

Cute little place in Georgetown! Jenna was fantastic. She even got me in for a last minute appointment (morning of!) I will definitely come here again even though it's a bit out of the way. I don't think I've ever had such a thorough Brazilian wax anywhere I've gone before. Also, 45$ HH specials! read more

This is a really nice waxing place, the service is great, the estheticians get every single little hair out, very close attention to deteail. The price is lovely, compared to other waxing places (they have a happy hour menu), its clean and neat and the studio itself has a bit of personality. read more

Excellent place to get a Brazilian bikini wax! The women was very friendly and did a thorough job.

Excellent waxing spot. Reasonably priced, super clean, and fast. They can usually fit me in last minute too. I won't go to any other waxing place in Seattle if I can help it. read more

Kyra is fantastic! After my usual sugar studio cancelled me due to an employee injury and unable to successfully reschedule, I searched the greater Seattle area for a new spot. I compared many locations and Wax Sabbath seemed to meet my needs/wants - great prices, excellent hours, sugar/wax/tinting services and great reviews. I booked online and had my first visit yesterday. I will be back! Kyra was excellent. Her sugar/waxing techniques are quick and effective. She was understanding and easy to talk to. I actually had fun while having my hair ripped out, ouch! Above all (and important to me) she respected and protected my privacy when leaving and entering treatment room. Kudos, Kyra! The studio is clean, funky and fun. Thank you Wax Sabbath and Kyra for a wonderful experience. See you in 5 weeks ;) read more
