Drove to Stuart from Orlando after a late night flight to visit family, and I was so happy to see the glowing Wawa sign. I love their deli sandwiches and they are open 24/7, so we stopped in for some much-needed food after a brutally long travel day. The deli being open all day and night makes Wawa a lifesaver when everything else in town has long since closed. I love how you can customize your sandwiches with an easy to use kiosk. I got my small sub just how I wanted it and for cheap, too. Service was fast, the people watching was off the charts, and the store was clean and well lit. This location features tons of snack options from healthy (hard cheeses, salads, sliced fruit) to unhealthy (ice cream, chips, candy), and it has all of Wawa's signature items like special coffees, hot snacks, Freestyle soda machines, and more. Prices are another win. Compared to a lot of quick bite options, Wawa keeps things pretty reasonable, especially considering the portion sizes and the fact that it's available literally anytime . Add in the convenience of grabbing gas, snacks, or a coffee all in one stop, and it's easy to see why it's a go-to. As always, the staff at the Wawa off of Kanner Highway is above and beyond. And as you check out there is a ballot box about eye level to "cast your ballot for employee of the month" except.. it's just for the employees. Though that makes sense the placement is misleading and too performative. Why have it in a customer's view, with easy access, that long message just for it to be for employees? Being from South Jersey and growing up with WAWA and having them here in Florida is a true treat. WAWA has evolved from a convenance store that sold the best hoagies, cut to order deli meats and cheeses and coffee to a full service store and gas station. I do think they have too much going on and should stick to their roots but, change is good. The hoagies (these are not subs) are still good even though they bake the rolls in house. They would be better if they still used Amoroso rolls a great Philly staple. And they carry Herr's potatoes chips, these are the best chips ever if your from the Philly area. This location is always clean and the staff is friendly always have a smile and are polite. Always a great stop for a hoagie or sandwiches on your way to the beach or a road trip. read more

Today, Saturday, it was very crowded and we had to drive around the parking lot twice to get a parking spot. New, clean and convenient, it's all we wanted, including a gas station. That piece of paper was in my sandwich in between the melted cheese. This place has gone down the drain recently. The night staff is rude and has no ability to contain their personal issues, it's all out in the open for the guests to experience. When you order food, you do so at a kiosk. There are several to use in various spots. They have a great selection of hot and cold subs, paninis, and more. So far, we have ordered the Philly cheesesteak. Complete your order, a slip prints out, which you can shop more or just go pay at a register for your food. After paying for your food, if you put any special orders on your slip, they will call you up to inquire about it. I really love the food here I can get a healthy bowl or a small omelet an this place is efficiently ran. My problem is the customer service they don't even acknowledge you , no smile , no eye contact . I just wanted to express that I am deeply upset an disapointed in the quality of customer service received from a store manager named John. It all started when I walked up to the food counter and said "excusse me" the gentleman acknowledged me and I told him i had an issue with my sandwich. (BLT) Now, on the receipt it clearly states that a BLT was ordered but yet no lettuce or tomoato was on there. His response was "our sandwiches are customizable" i replied " i understand that, however, why do u have a BLT button if your just going to make customer pick what they want anyways?" he replies "im being rude an interupted him"...now, i said excusses me the moment i walked up, all he had to do was say...mame, ill be with you in just a moment, im just finishing an order. But no he didnt. He continued to speak over me in front of 2 other male employees, clearly trying to assurt his dominance and wouldnt acknowledge that he was wrong. Im exteremly upset with how the situation was handled and will not be returning. I was a frequent visitor at this wawa since my ER was across the street; any many of my co-workers go there on a daily basis. My point....If your company is going to have "CUSTOMIZABLE'' sandwiches. Than what is the point of having a designated button for a BLT, Turkey & cheese, or meatball sandwich, etc. It literally makes no sense. My receipt clearly states that the BLT button was pressed but was lacking 2 major ingredients. However, the receipt did NOT say to 86 (not add) lettice or tomato. If who ever is reading this would like priof of said mistake, i will be happy to email pictures. In the end, i was offered another sandwich and declined due to unprofessionalism and disrespect an humiliating experience in front of other customers an employees. Hi !! To all Customer I when today to this location with my Wife and kids for lunch. We purchased some sandwiches and drink. My 11 year old daughter wanted to try a smoothie and she when back to order one . I give her some money to purchased the smoothie . When waiting she so a guy pudding in a basket at the cashier the tickets and did the same thing. She tall that I oredy pay the smoothie the first time I pay . ( Very honest mistake ) . Wawa is basically a gasoline filling station with a twist. Coffee urns of pure caffeine delight, a high tech deli with touch screen ordering stations, low fuel prices.... What's not to like? There are several newcomers into this arena of "slightly boutique" gas filling stations. Cumberland Farms comes to mind as a direct competitor. I've eaten and gotten gas at Wawas in NJ, Kissimmee and now here in Stuart. The sandwiches are delicious and the frozen drinks are too. I love the variety of snacks that they have to offer even if you're not in the mood for a sandwich. The problem with the one in Stuart is that the people who work there are unfamiliar with the system it seems. Every other sandwich I order gets screwed up in some sort of way. Last time, the wrong ticket was placed on my finished sandwich so someone got mine and I got someone else's! I called the store when I got home. I had to insist that I didn't pick up the wrong sandwich from my error-it was labeled wrong. The manager was nice and let me comeback the following week for a do over. I stopped by again today and I didn't get half the toppings I ordered. How difficult can it really be to build a sandwich? You're just following a list for goodness sakes! I didn't bother calling them about it. It was skimpy but edible. I figured it was about time to right a review on this place.
