After an extended delay in the drive-thru (20+ minutes), I went inside to pick up my order. I noticed what appeared to be my order (correct bag and drink) sitting behind the register instead of in the mobile pickup area. Multiple employees saw me waiting but made no effort to ask if I needed help or acknowledge my presence for a significant amount of time (+/- 25 minutes). More concerning, I observed several employees arriving for their shifts around 10 a.m. and immediately beginning work at the registers and handling food without washing their hands. That alone raises serious health and safety concerns. While I've enjoyed the food occasionally, knowing that this location doesn't follow basic food safety ruins previous experiences. I understand locations get busy, but lack of basic customer service combined with apparent food safety issues is unacceptable. I'm usually a fan of Hardee's, but this visit was a major disappointment.

Turns out she mentioned to a younger employee that she needs to go to the bathroom. If that's the case, then the younger employee should've handed my food so the manager can go to the bathroom. And my food wouldn't been handed off to another person in the drive thru. I hope a new manager or DISTRICT MANAGER OR OWNER teaches these youngin's how to cook. And stop putting cheese & toppings on the bottom of a sandwich. I know someone's world can be upside down but the original sandwiches that was invented in the beginning of time of the restaurant was established is not supposed to be upside down. -Invention of modern sandwiches may pass to those who is willing to try them. I'm sure Wolfgang Puck & Gordon Ramsay would back me up on this even though they're more of gourmet. -Some things are meant to stay traditional.

The staff working there were really friendly and helpful. The menu is still appetizing, I could only hope that the items I was about to order would be prepared to spec and be as awesome. I tried a couple of their sliders; the Buffalo Chicken and the Jalapeño beef and both were excellent. The Buffalo was fresh, piping hot, and spicy too. I also tried their curly fries and they were OK, but a little on the cool side, so they might have been sitting in the bin before being served. Finally, I tried their Smokehouse Brisket and it was decent, but not nearly as good as those sliders. The lobby was decent, but all the sauces were empty.
