After placing a mobile order, I went through the drive-thru to pick it up. The employee was unwelcoming, did not greet me at the speaker or window, and told me to pull forward and wait. When my food was brought out, it was the wrong order. I went inside to have it corrected, while several employees saw me at the counter and did not acknowledge me. When I was finally helped, I was directed back to the same employee, who appeared frustrated by the mistake and responded rudely before getting and handing me my order. Even then, my order was still missing items. At that point, I chose not to return again. While the food is usually fine, this experience felt unwelcoming and poorly handled from start to finish. At 11:43 pm March 14th, 2026, a friend and I went ahead and thought it was a bright fucking idea to go to wendys on our beloved night. McDonalds wanted to say they were closed and Popeyes didn't even have french fries. Wendy's used to be my number 2 burger joint to go to for its freshness, but it seems like the Stafford Wendy's is under different management. It was the worst tasting burger that I have ever had. The meat was beginning to dry along the edges from what tasted like being under a light for too long. The lettuce was so old and rubbery that I couldn't bite through it, and the fries were so old and dried up that I couldn't bring them back to life even in my microwave. Very poorly done and it seems they have no pride in what they do. Normally Wendy's is on point with a fresh taste of being straight off the grill. Not Stafford's Wendy's. Do yourself a favor and travel north or south to a Wendy's that remembers when Dave was around and what he stood for in food quality. Slowest. Fast. Food. Ever. This location is known for 30-45 minute drive through waits with half the cars of Chick Fil A. They clearly survive on their uniquely convenient location by the Interstate (all of the other fast food in the area is several miles away or buried in a suburban shopping center hellscape). I keep going here because of the convenience, but I have yet to experience good customer service, reasonable prompt service, or an order that was both fresh and correct (sometimes they get one or the other, never both). Thanks for overpacking my bag of food that could have easily been put into two bags, so that the bag tore from top to bottom before I even got to my car. Now half of my order is on the pavement outside. Stuffing a large fry, two ten piece nuggets, two burgers, and a baked potato into one small paper bag is stupidity of a whole new level. I'd love to have gotten the missing food replaced as the bag tore open in full view of the restaurant, but I was told that once the food leaves the restaurant, it is no longer replaceable. The remodel is nice. Been eating there for 20 years, or as long as it has been open. Service has always been slow, sometimes unbearable, but hey, it's Wendy's and when you want Wendy's you wait... at least at this one. Tonight I went in for a meal. Walked up to the register and waited while no less than eight employees and a manger walked around doing various things. I cleared my throat a little and a younger blond girl walked up to the register and just stared at me. No "welcome to Wendy's, May I help you, kiss my butt," nothing. So I asked for a certain combo meal and she rang my order up. Meal came out and it wrong. No big deal, manger fixed it, so I said politely "I told her (register girl) what I wanted." Immediately register girl gets in my face and starts telling me I was wrong. I replied with "you need more training." She kept on voicing her displeasure with me and her manager was standing next to her. I looked at her manger and said "are you going to let your employ stand there and talk to a customer like that?" I placed an online order for curbside pickup, paid for it and then headed to Wendy's. I parked in the curbside pickup space and clicked "check-in" on the email provided. After about 15 minutes WAITING, I double-checked the email and checked-in again, just in case I did something wrong. Fifteen minutes later, I went in. They said "we don't have an order under that name," so I showed them PROOF that not only did they have an order that WAS in fact placed, but they also had my payment. Again, I was told they didn't have an order for that name. It wasn't until I asked for my money back that they finally offered to prepare the order for me. UNACCEPTABLE. Since this Wendy's was rebuilt it has been great. Much faster, orders are right, food tastes great. The change was well worth every penny because it used to be slow and bad. If there were three cars in line you could generally expect to be there 20 minutes and it was a 50/50 whether or not you would get what you ordered. But after they rebuilt and changed staff it has been a great fast food stop. read more

Okay, strap yourself in for this tale cause this is almost hard to believe. I've been coming to this Wendy's for some time now and never once had a problem with my food, the staff, or anything. So i decide around midnight I'm going to Wendy's cause i want some nuggs. I get here and there's some guy pulled over in the parking lot blocking the entry. Cool. Cop waves me past and I go to the drive thru. I order two separate orders. combination of sandwiches and nuggs for myself and then some nuggs for my roommate. I get to the window, i hand the guy my card and he's like "hey man, we don't have any nuggs ready, if you pull forward we'll bring all the food to you" sweet. I'm sitting in my car and this guy comes out with my food. Only one bag tho. He says "i only charged you for the first order, can i see your card and I'll bring everything out in a second?" Yeah sure no problem. About 5 minutes passes and I'm like wtf is taking so long. About that time a manager comes out and is telling me that they accidentally gave my card to another customer that had come through the drive thru. And on top of that i checked the first order right in front of him, and it was wrong. I was still annoyed about the cop thing so i was pretty angry. So While I'm sitting in the parking lot they're trying to figure out what they're going to do. The manager, sultan, offered to call the police. I look at him and still being angry, i yelled at him. I was pretty mean and i wasn't meaning to direct it at him specifically but at that shift as a whole. Sultan, if you're reading this sorry for being a dick. What is the point of a mobile order if you still have to wait in the drive-through line, announce you're arrival so will then start your order and then continue to wait as if you're just another drive-through customer? I guess it's supposed to reduce contact by not paying in person? Since I didn't realize this until I got there, it was way more annoying than helpful. I have idea why I'm writing a review for this place on yelp as if people go to yelp before choosing a McDonald's. If you're reading at this point, you're either a stalker or mentally unstable. We visited this Wendy's in May 2014 at 1:15 PM. In their favor: The food was fresh and hot. I had a grilled chicken sandwich and baked potato. They made it to order for me. My husband had a Spicy Chicken sandwich and fries. His was great, too. Cons: It was hard to find a clean table in the dining room ( and it is large). The person who took my husband's order kept calling him "man" and "boss" as well as other customers that were his elders. What happened to "sir" when you represent the front of the house in business? Was he trained as how to address his customers? The tables were dirty, the trash overflowing and we couldn't add any more, and in the bathroom someone had stuffed their bags of trash in the toilet (maybe because they were angry about the overflowing trash cans in the dining room?). I told the manager about food bags in the toilet and he laughed and said, "Really?" They did a great job on the food, but the place was just NOT clean and the staff was disrespectful in the way they addressed customers. We had to give less than average marks for that reason. To the manager: Set expectations for cleanliness in your eatery, and a rotation so the tables get cleaned, trash taken out, and restrooms cleaned and checked. Train your employees about how to talk to their customers and hold them accountable. read more
