not long ago I would have given them at least 4 stars, but lately they are lucky to get 1 star. First, prices are insane these days. $13.59 and $4.99 for a LITTLE cajun fry. Now, let's move on to the real problem - inability to get the order right. The last two times I got food from there, including just now, they got my order wrong. The first time, they gave the door dasher the wrong order and it didn't show up until after I called to complain about it not arriving at all. Today, and the one that really set me off... I ordered my usual meal and they forgot the cokes. When my wife got home with the order, I asked where the cokes were and she told me that was all they gave her. I tried to call and talk to the manager, but they put me on hold and hung up on me in about 20 seconds. So, I went over to talk to them and get my sodas. I asked for the manager, and some kid came over as I was explaining it. Then they tell me "ohh, he's not the manager she is" and they point to a woman there. I started to explain the problem, but when I saw the blank look on her face I decided to leave without my drink because I have no patience for that type of thing. By the time I got back to the hotel my family and I have been forced to live in the last month when our home was destroyed by a tree my food was ice cold and I had no drink. The fries were so cold, I find it hard to believe they were fresh when they put them in the bag like they claim they will be. read more

Five Guys - Burgers Near Me - Stafford, Virginia

Five Guys is pretty basic. What you see is what you get. The no frills step up and order and wait on your food. Restaurant was clean, the guy taking the order at the counter was friendly and helpful as this is not a normal for me to go to fast food places. But I can appreciate a sack of potatoes sitting in front of the store to let you know it's not some processed potatoes and really just potatoes dipped in hot grease. And actually the best fries and a really good burger. read more

Everyone was really friendly that I talked too. Fairly easy to order and the girl at the counter was very friendly. If you have a nut allergy it's not recommended going in bc they have p'nuts out. Fries were a little soggy and could have been more crispy. Burger was good I just ordered the kids one patty which is the same size as the adults. read more

Five Guys - a man standing at the counter of a fast food restaurant - Burgers Near Me - Stafford, Virginia

The food was good, but overpriced. The reason I gave them two stars primarily is their lack of appreciation for military veterans. I asked if they honored a military veteran discount and they said no. It was with great honor that I was able to protect the business owners of this establishment who are thriving now because of the umbrella of freedom I provided for them. Now they just get to make a bunch of money and failed to acknowledge the brave Americans who provided this opportunity for them. i'm not sure if they realize that military are not paid very well, but they're doing OK with their $25 burger combos. I will never go there again while they don't acknowledge the people that protected them with their lives. If you are a veteran or you have family members that are veterans , I encourage you to tag along and boycott this establishment. read more

Seems like it depends on who's on the grill and cooking the frites. No one comes to five guys for a flattened piece of overcooked meat or cold fries that seemed as though the grease is old. For the ladies of five guys: please stop skimping on the fries. The guys get it right! And please don't smash the buns for your call in/online orders. The worst that can happen is you get your burger home and the foil in the bag is super wrinkled as if they rolled it before stuffing it in the bag. read more

Came here to celebrate my nephew's 1st birthday (his choice) and there were 7 of us in total. Employee didn't greet us until I said something to her. It's great you could see the screen to make sure the order is correct on top of it being read back to you. Total was about $70 even though all of us did not order drinks or fries. Definitely on the expensive side. My grilled cheese sandwiches were okay. Not much cheese pull as I would've liked but I absolutely love how they make it on bread buns. Fries were pretty good as well, not super crispy & I love the drink machine since you can "create" your own in a sense. Main problem on this visit was that it was raining and the ceiling started dripping on me as I was eating. No way they don't know their ceiling leaks by now! I hope it's not any worse when it's really storming outside. Also wish they had more options. Aside from maybe the shakes I feel like nothing here has changed at all throughout the years. Would love for them to slide a turkey burger in the mix! read more

This was one of the best five guys we've ever been to. It was absolutely spotless in there and the staff was very friendly. I'm not sure if it was the manager, but it was a gentleman who greeted everybody and thanked everybody as they left. read more

Clean location and quick service, but this chain got really expensive. Just under $25 for a cheeseburger, shake and small fry. At least with the burger, you get two thin patties and you can add all the toppings you want for no extra. You can't beat the fresh cut fries and the shakes are damn good! read more

I usually don't eat here, but not because it's not good... it's just not healthy. One thing im not a fan of, is that they don't make your fries till you get there, when you've placed a carry out order. First of all, I want to eat the fries on my way back without burning my mouth, and second, if i'm picking it, I probably have limited time to do so. The options for toppings are pretty vast, and there's no charge unless you're adding cheese and bacon. I love getting the little cheeseburger with 7 different additions! Or the bacon cheese dog! I did, once, have a bacon cheese dog and immediately after felt like I was going to have a heart attack. Order at your own risk! The workers are nice and friendly and my order is usually correct. The place is pretty clean whenever I come in and I don't usually have any complaints. read more

What a horrible food experience! The business was filthy (greasy floors that almost made it impossible in which to walk; no working lavatories; no sanitation for hands offered because of bathrooms). The drink machine dispensed mostly carbonated water and the flavors of soda were minimal and undrinkable. I tried 3 times (after talking w management) and all of them were throw away. Waste of my money. Waste of my time but mostly so disappointing for my guests that had wanted to experience Five Guys. Never again! read more

Sweet Jesus I remember why I don't come here very often. A cheeseburger, a little fry, and a regular drink was $18.70. I could have gone to Outback and had a steak for that much -- that's ridiculous I won't be coming back here anytime soon. You're not that busy, kind of slow, while the burgers are good they are not worth $18 for the combo. read more

The staff is rude as hell!!!! I have never been to Five Guys where they had ZERO customer service. However, there was one guy who was decent. In addition, I paid over $25 for hamburgers, fries & banana shake. The hamburgers & fries were good, but the a banana shake was almost $7 and was literally like water! While I was getting my water, they called my number for the watered-down shake. The extremely rude Mexican lady put my shake on the other side of the counter on the other side of the store and when I asked her for it, she ignored me and walked off with her nasty attitude! The decent guy handed it to me. I will NOT be going back to this establishment. Five Guys, you just lost a lifetime customer! I hope they close down or hire people who actually enjoy and appreciate their job! read more

During a drive from Harrisburg, PA, to Holden Beach, NC, we decided to stop at this Five Guys in Virginia for lunch. Sometimes you need more than fast food on a long road trip. While some might say Five Guys is fast food, I politely disagree. First, each burger is made to order, and with my gluten allergy, they will change gloves, wipe down the cooktops and ensure a safe, cross-contamination free zone for me. No fast food joint I'm aware of would do that for its customers. I prefer the salad to the lettuce wrap, and I load on lettuce, tomato, pickles, and grilled onions to complete the scene. Also, fries! The servings are huge, so it's easy to share. And I love the peanuts in the shell you can eat while you wait for your order to be called. The beverage kiosk is pretty cool too - one for sodas, and another for iced tea. Clean restrooms, easy on/off highway access, and ample parking are added bonuses. A welcome respite for the weary - and hungry - traveler. read more

Five Guys rocks. The first time I went to a Five Guys, it was in DC. I was absolutely amazed. The Stafford location is no different. I ordered a hamburger and they threw two giant patties on a bun, which were all ridiculously amazing. They gave me a giant list of different toppings to choose from. You can pick items like fried onions, mushrooms, jalapenos if you are daring, whatever. You can't go wrong. Then you get some fries and they just fill up a bag with them. When you take a bite of your hamburger, your mouth literally will dance. If you want to experience this second hand click on the link below or youtube search 'oh my dayum songify" https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=DcJFdCmN98s If you have never experienced a Five Guys, this is a must. If you have eaten at one before, the Stafford Location is pretty great. Comfortable seating (inside and out), *should* be enough tables, and at a good location. We actually tried a hot dog for the first time last weekend and it was pretty great too. I would still prefer a hamburger, though. read more

Been a couple of times in the past month and service has been mediocre each time. Not rude, but one lady at the cashier seems to not speak much English and also doesn't seem to care much about delivering god service, almost like we're bothering her by being there. The other lady working on Saturday (when I last went) next to her at cashier treated her customers a lot better. Food tasted nice, hot dogs are amazing. Fries are always good. Just don't really need all the grease on the wrappers and on the buns of my food. Overall, we stop in when we really desire a good hot dog and don't care about the overly greasy food, as it tastes good consistently. read more

Absolutely flawless burger and fries joint. Few places have been able to hang with me through this battle against cancer, but Five Guys is still amazing. This place has, and continues to, deliver consistently one of the very best burger experiences. If you're in the neighborhood, have the hankering for a top notch sandwich and don't mind springing a couple extra bucks compared to drive-thru joints, this one is an easy call. read more

Online ordering was accurate and quick , the team was friendly and organized. The large outdoor seating area was very clean and trash can were kept clean , so no flies or smells were present. I love this place, the burgers are awesome and so is the service. I am on Keto right now so this makes an amazing dinner for me when i order my hamburger bunless. I ask for a lettuce wrap, they will ask if it is for an allergy or for preference, be sure to say preference if u really dont have an allergy. It creates more work for the cook when all u are doing is watching your carbs. I ordered the Bacon Cheeseburger no bun with lettuce wrap, tomato, mustard, mushrooms and extra pickles. Amazing! Also, if u are not familiar with Five Guys Burgers, they are super juicy, so be sure to stuff a couple napkins under your burger and always lean over to eat it because u WILL get it everywhere if u dont. I have found that because the burger is so big i simply cant take a bite without getting it on my face... so maybe not the best place for a date lol. Unless u are like me and love good food more then perfect manners! If u are not watching the carbs, please get the fries! I order mine fried hard and ask for extra seasoning. There is also vinegar available to dip your fries, at least try it before u dis it! And last but not least get a shake, my fav is the coffee shake, it is delicious! read more

Five Guys - Keto option, Bacon Cheese Burger without bun , in lettuce wrap. - Burgers Near Me - Stafford, Virginia

Came during lunch to grab some food to go. Place was crowded but plenty of seating inside and outside available. Patio seating is nice on a cool day. The line moved quickly and everyone was friendly. The cashier was patient and took her time as we ordered. My only complaint is it takes longer for your food to come when you order a hot dog but its a hamburger spot so I guess it should be expected. The food is ok to me but my family enjoyed it. We ordered hotdogs and a cheeseburger with a large fry. There was plenty of fries to go around for evreyone. Place was clean. Would visit again. read more

I've been to many Five Guys in the VA area, and there is just something about this one that makes it stand out. Each time I'm there the restaurant looks as clean as a hospital, the guys/gals working the counter are friendly, my burger is served hot and just as I ordered it, and the fries are perfectly salty and almost overflowing from the bag. I've gotta give a huge amount of credit to the owner, who you often times see working the line with this employees, because it's clear to see that he runs a tight shift. If I can suggest something to guests who are unfamiliar with the Five Guys code: put a dollar+ in the tip jar, and make sure the cashier sees it. If you do this at a Five Guys that follows the code, you'll get an extra scoop (or two) of fries topping off your bag. I do it every time, and without fail I get more fries than I can usually handle. Not that I don't try! ;-) read more

Came here for the first time and was pleasantly surprised! This place is reminiscent of In n Out. Ordered: veggie sandwich with hot sauce, bacon cheese burger, and a milkshake with oreo, cherry, and sea salt caramel. Pros - Fresh ingredients. There was a sign that indicated where the fresh cut potato fries came in from. I think on the day we went in, the potatoes came in from Idaho (no surprise there). The veggies in my sandwich were fresh and grilled right there rather than cooked earlier, sitting there for a while, and then scooped out. - Cleanliness. You can see the open kitchen. The countertops and grill is clean and well maintained. You can see how the employees maintain a good standard. - Good portions at good prices! I don't like sharing fries with my fiance, because he's eats so much and so fast, so I insisted that we order a large order of fries. They came in a large cup and I'm pretty certain the staff scooped in an extra scoop of fries into our bag, which was way cool! It was definitely enough for myself and my fiance. - Helpful and friendly staff. It was our first time there and the guy who took our order was helpful in answering our questions and wasn't pushy when my fiance was undecided on his milkshake. Final Answer This is a place I would definitely return to. It's quick, fresh, tasty, and inexpensive. read more

Had 5 hungry movers all day so we ordered bacon cheeseburgers and fries all around and one BLY. Excellent quality every time. The toppings for the burgers are the best around, and always fresh. The grilled cheese sandwich is a lesser known menu item, but always part of our order.
