I called the store right away and was told the only option was to drive back to get the dressing. At that point, I was already home, and it's a 10-minute drive each way. No apology, no offer to make it right, no customer service recovery at all. They also forgot to include a spoon for my ice cream. Mistakes happen, but how they're handled matters. This response lacked the courtesy and care Chick-fil-A is usually known for. Hopefully they take feedback like this seriously and do better in the future.

After waiting long enough to reconsider my life choices, I loudly said, "Hello?" and asked if anyone was working. Bold move, I know. That's when an employee--possibly a manager--who was comfortably seated at a table deep in conversation with another worker decided to grace us with his attention. No name tag, of course, but he offered up "Jacob" when I asked (sure). Instead of something radical like, "Sorry about that," I was informed that I "had to wait." Wait for what, exactly? The conversation to wrap up? The stars to align? I stayed patient and didn't match the energy, but the highlight was when "Jacob" said he couldn't wait to get my complaint. Confidence is admirable. Customer service? Not so much. If the goal is to treat paying customers like background noise while prioritizing table talk, mission accomplished. That 3.8 rating isn't a mystery--it's generous.
