Food is GAS. Visiting a friend in this area and found it on yelp. I got the Philly cheesesteak and wing combo and it was really good. I personally liked the Philly cheese steak better than the wings but I would recommend both. The wings were fried perfectly but I got the honey barbecue as the sauce and it wasn't my favorite but my friend tried and really liked the sauce so it's just personal preference. Went in and ordered a two piece whiting with fries, a side of Mac n cheese and 2 thighs. My other half says the whiting was ok. The fries were hard and dry. My thighs I ordered had sat so long in the warmer that the bottoms were so burnt the bones were breaking off with my food. They flavor was only in the breading not the chicken. The chicken was salty asf but at least it wasn't dry. The Mac n cheese tastes like it's low budget shells n cheese squeeze packets no flavor at all. Noodles tasted as if they were just thrown in the container and cheese was barely mixed in. While waiting for the food the tables were dirty and the floor as well. I got the mixed chicken combo with fries. My friend got the shrimp sub. The chicken was nice and juicy, however I am used to southern fried chicken so it wasn't what I was expecting. Not bad but just not my usual fried chicken. Added salt to my fries. I'd say the shrimp sub was on point though. Flavorful. Came with a good sauce. Shrimp was fried. I'd say good prices. Found this place searching yelp for something to eat while in the area for school. I was thinking English style Fish & Chips. What I got was crispy and moist but not English style. No Malt Vinegar, thin crispy breading and McD's style fries instead of thick Steak cut fries. I'm not complaining mind you just telling it like it is. Mac and cheese tasted like orange paste. Wings were super salty and served without sauce even though we asked for buffalo with no side of ranch. Regular chicken was ok but honestly KFC is better. Fries are probably the star of the show. The individual over the phone did mess up my order and put me down for two orders of fries and my order ended up being over 25 dollars when I expected it to be around 18. The delivery was fairly fast and was overall pretty satisfied with that aspect of the experience. The fried chicken itself was pretty good! It had a perfect even color, nice and crispy skin while maintaining the chickens juices. The seasoning used on the chicken was very good although it had a little too much salt in my opinion, but to each their own. definitely a hit or miss kind of place. I had really great fried chicken twice. So based on that experiencd, i ordered a whole tray to take to a friends house. Totally different flavor from what I had a few months before when I was in the area. First two personal orders were placed in afternoon. Chicken was flavorful, crispy, juicy, tender. Seasoned wonderfully. Tray order was placed at night, chicken was greasy, soggy, and only seasoned with salt and maybe a little pepper. I dont know. Hard to find, but good when you do. Their fish is just simple fried fillets, but they come out moist with a good flavor, not all dried up and tasting like cardboard. . They do pretty good gyros, too. Not as good as in New York, but pretty decent. But what made me really do this review is their little $1.75 dish of sweet potato pie. You know, the kind they sell on the corner for a dollar in NYC and Philly? Along with the bean pies? The owner says he gets them from NYC and he has people driving all the way from DC to get them. Anyway, he has some in the warmer, and for seven bits (plus tax) you get a tasty little bite of the Big Apple and what it's like growing up there. Nice memory. This place can be hard to find though. It's tucked away between the split lanes of Route 1 as it leads through Dumfries. If you can picture East Coast Harley and the Baskin Robbins, keep coming south on Route 1. And as soon as you cross through the traffic light (cross all the way THRU the intersection) the entrance to Triangle Shopping Plaza is on your left. If you miss it, you can redeem yourself a little ways up the hill at the next entrance on the left. If you're coming north, pass the fire station and the Corvette dealer on your right and start looking left . I think it's your first turn although it looks like you're going into a VDOT facility. You'll see the lanes for the plaza as you head in (if memory serves me well here). And if that doesn't work, oh well, just try the next left :) read more

Ala carte whiting was $1 less than the meals, next time ill get the whole the meal which includes fries n a biscuit. Whatever dill sauce they gave us was also really good.
