Anyone that chooses chipotle over QDOBA hasn't tried it in the last couple years! The ingredients are so fresh & tasty. I'm upset they got rid of the habanero lime steak. I enjoy adding a taco shell to my bowls for an extra crunch. It just elevates the bowl even more. I think besides guac and queso being included their toppings are elite. Pickled onions && jalapeños?? A great place for a burrito or a bowl I recently stopped by Qdoba Mexican Eats on the north side of Prince WIlliam Parkway to the west of I-95. I had a genuinely good experience from start to finish. Parking was easy, with plenty of spaces right in front of the store. Inside, the restaurant is surprisingly roomy, with a large dining area that had several booths and tables. The tables and common area seemed clean and well kept. There's room to sit comfortably, eat, and actually talk without feeling rushed or crowded.The staff stood out as especially pleasant and welcoming. As with other restaurants in the chain, customers order at the counter from right to left telling them what you want on your order. You follow your order to the end of hte counter where you pay for it and ither take it to go or take it to your table. Drinks are by the end of the counter in a self service setup. Our party ordered a chicken burrito and a chicken bowl with lettuce instead of rice. The portions were a decent size. Everything looked fresh and well put together. Prices were reasonable for what you get and the economy. . It's not bargain-basement cheap, but it feels fair and consistent. Overall, this Qdoba delivers exactly what you hope for: easy parking, a comfortable space to eat, good service, solid portions, and fair prices. This ranks in the bottom of the Qdoba's I've been to. Although most of the staff was pleasant, they nickel and dime you (i.e., one dollar extra for X, only X amount of toppings, no complimentary side of chips, etc.) and the food doesn't taste the freshest. This was a spot that offered burritos, burrito bowls, tacos, quesadillas, etc. They had customizable choices where one chooses the protein, rice, sauces, etc., but also had a wide range of prepared entrees. There were a lot of selections for every different category. The service was acceptable as I was telling them my order. I created my own burrito and chose adobo chicken ($9.35?). I went with brown rice, salsa verde, fajita veggies, raw onion, shredded cheese, and romaine lettuce. The burrito was poorly made as it fell apart immediately as I picked it up. I should have got it double wrapped, which usually does the trick. However, I prefer this than getting not enough filling. The chicken was flavored nicely but seemed to be missing something. I really enjoyed the fajita vegetables. Overall, it was a decent tasting burrito. Will I go back? Probably. read more

I fist visited this franchise at Ronald Reagan Airport. I was hooked. Each time I flew out of Reagan, I would stop and get a chicken bowl. It was so tasty. Now that I don't travel much, I visited a QDOBA in Woodbridge, VA. It was terrible. The chicken no longer tasted like chicken. The veggie were sweet, and the beans were bland. I used to like Qdoba a lot in the past, lately I've been trying more again just because I feel there's some of lacking in consistency. It doesnt taste like it use to :( One time, I came for to go order. The lady behind the counter picked the bit of chicken that fell and put it back to the box. It's nasty! and I actually said something like " hey why did you put it back?'' and she probably doesnt understand good and no apology whatsoever she quickly added more chicken like I care? No! 2 stars is because the cashier always nice and friendly. PS : Imagine if I'm from the health dept and saw it, it's an automatic violation. Please please please DO NOT disrespect customer by picking fell food and put it back to my bowl. What if you're the customer? What if I'm the health dept or secret shoppers? I'll stick to Chipotle and Taco Bell. I'll be nice, but in all honesty, it was a 1.5 experience. You walk in and it's deserted, dark, and dingy. The employees are a "meh" at best and nothing's being cooked. It takes 5 minutes to be recognized, 5 minutes for a 4 ingredient bowl, and 10 minutes to be checked out. Despite having a Yelp coupon, the manager argues and says she'll allow it, "Out of the kindness of my heart". I took it to go, as the dining area was neglected the whole day (overflowing trash and messy tables). The meal had some flavor, but the lettuce was wilted and yellow due to neglect (probably not kept cold and sat out all day). Will I be back? Definitely not to this location! Qdoba has some GREAT potential, but it is floundered by poor, careless employees. read more

A solid Qdoba. I hadn't had Qdoba in several years (though I eat Chipotle regularly) and we decided to grab some when we were driving through Woodbridge, VA. This location is decent. Not the cleanest, but the employees were nice. Qdoba currently has this awesome deal where you can grab as many sauces as you want and if you don't like the sauce mixture, you can return your bowl for a free bowl. I ordered a burrito bowl with chicken, guacamole, two types of beans, and several of their sauces, with lettuce on top. Pretty delicious and filing! My fiance ordered the quesadillas. He also was a fan. I'm still a bigger fan of Chipotle, but I love how Qdoba emphasizes its different and unique sauces. Great place to stop if you're in the Woodbridge area. I would go to Qdoba more often if there were any around where I am. read more

First time visiting and I got the chicken burrito bowl. I was really excited to see that the pricing is very similar to other similar style places ( chipotle , moe's) qdoba gives free quac and queso so I was sure to add those on. I think what would make this place better is if they gave free chips and salsa like moe's. Overall really good and will probably visit again! read more

This is my first review, I've gone to restaurants that I have not liked but today made me so upset, I downloaded this app, signed up, just to leave a negative review for this store. Today is free burrito day, so I understand it was going to be a busy day. When I opened my app it, it advertised a free burrito with a purchase of a entre and drink. I did just that, waited 30 minutes in line just for them to tell me I have to pay full price. I showed the cashier that I have a rewards program through my app and that it's been advertised on my app, but she said she was not seeing it in her system. She called over the manager, I believe, and she confirmed she was not seeing the BOGO in my system. I paid full price for bowl, burrito and soda, even though my app advertised free burrito with a purchase of entree and drink. What I'm most upset about is wasting 30 minutes, standing in line just to pay full price when I went in thinking I'd get the burrito and the manager couldn't even honor that for me. I love Qdoba but I will not be stepping foot in this store again. read more

Stopped in for lunch.... the menu was rather large, but I just ordered a rice bowl, so I never really got a chance to review everything while standing in line to order. The service was fast. The food all looked good. They don't have trays to put your food and drink on when eating in, I couldn't carry everything in my hands. The food tasted rather bland. Nothing really special. Qdoba is trying really hard to compete with Chipotle. Unfortunatly for this location, they are not doing a good job. First fail: The workers are not very friendly and consistantly cannot understand what you are asking for. Second Fail: I have been in a few times and the place can be quite dirty. They are trying to look upscale over Chipotle and because of this, the dirt really stands out like a sore thumb. They really need to get the workers out to sweep and mop the floor more often. Also, have someone cleaning the darn tables! Third Fail: The quality of the cooked meat is just no where near Chipotel in terms of flavor and appearance. They need to step it up! But, there is potential here... There is a better variety and some of the signature borittos can be quite tasty. read more

My kids have been wanting to try this place and I kept resisting thinking it was some kind of dive. So not true. It's like a wanna-be Chipotle but in a good way. The only problem I had sounds like the same problem the other reviewer had: I feel like I've been rushed through the line even when we were the only ones in line. I went there last night for dinner with my husband, because he said the food wasn't as spicy as Chipotle, and they were very accommodating. It was about 6:30 pm, and when we arrived we were the ONLY people in the place, besides the employees. They were far from accommodating, and didn't care if I wanted to see how spicy the chicken was. I asked if there was a difference in the heat of the tequila lime chicken and the adobo, and was told, "it's just chicken". I asked for a sample of the adobo, and was told "we don't do that". Frustrated, I order a burrito. The tortilla was not warmed (like my husband's was); I guess they weren't happy with my questions or requests. The food was thrown onto the tortilla, and was very hastily attempted to be wrapped into a tortilla shape. We go to the table after paying, and I open the tortilla- it's oozing stuff out all sides. It's not that big- it's falling apart. A room temperature tortilla also makes for a very chewy, tough burrito. I also got a huge chunk of the lettuce core. And their Adobo was *very* aggressive with cayenne, or some other very painful spice. Will I go back? Maybe- but I *highly* doubt I will return to this location. read more

Anytime I get a feel for Chiptole (which I have been really leary of going to since they whole issue with the food a couple of years back) I had to to fresh Qdoba! The staff is always helpful and the food is always delicious. I love the seasonal shrimp burrito (I really think it should be a year round staple) and the pico de gallo with chips are delicious!!! Portions are nice (One burrito bowl fills well.), Open seating area (tables are not on top of each other) Servers are usually nice and smile when providing service. CONS: I hope you speak Spanish (English is in short supply around there). We didn't have major issues with the Language barrier, but it is there. Parking can become an issue; every time I've been there someone nearly backs into my vehicle or they speed within the very tight parking area. Have your phone ready, you may see an accident. The area where the spoons and forks are kept gets a little messy; makes me want to bring my forks from home somedays. read more
