Publix at Embery Mills is clean and well stocked with a variety of food and produce. Our trip today included only the deli that hosts Boar's Head meats and cheeses. They have an efficient staff cutting meats to your desired specifications.

So glad there's a Publix right up the road from me. In GA this was my supermarket to go to. This location is everything I expected of a Publix: Welcoming, Clean, knowledgeable and helpful staff along with great selection of products and the freshest produce around. Special thanks to Ms. Angie for phenomenal customer service at the Hot Entrees and Sides counter.

We stopped by here for some fried chicken and sugar cookies on our way home. I've been meaning to stop by after finding out that there's finally a Publix out here. The sugar cookies were only available in a half and half box at the bakery section -- half chocolate chip and half sugar cookies. The really nice lady at the bakery section was willing to make a box of sugar cookies only for us to purchase. It totally made our day because we love the Publix sugar cookies. The friendly service reminded us of the good hospitality back in Florida. The deli chicken and salad area had us drooling and we were going to get some fried chicken as well. However, we skipped the atherosclerotic treat for the next time after having scrumptious meals after another this weekend. A quick auditing of the store had me smiling because of the good nonverbal acknowledgments by the store associates. Out of 10 associates I came across, every one of them made eye contact with smiles. The cleanliness of this store inside and outside was outstanding. I had trouble taking pictures in the refrigerated door aisles (e.g., frozen food, beer aisles) because of how shiny and clean the glass doors were. The floors were also nice and spotless. Their merchandising was great as well. All advertised on sale products were full stocked, and no empty / gaping shelves anywhere. I liked that the pharmacy here can fill pet prescriptions. The alcoholic beverage aisle had some Japanese sake at a less than $10/bottle price. They can be used for cooking as well as preparing confectionery. The only gripe I really had was the woman's bathroom. One of the stalls had no toilet paper and it could use some tidying up. I wish people stops hovering over the seats......it's so gross when there's just droppings everywhere. Nobody working there or coming in afterwards should have to see or clean up such a mess!!

Never had a sub here. Told the guy. He gave me their top 3 choices. I opted for chicken tenders with Buffalo sauce white American toasted added spinach onions bell peppers and pickles. Was one of best subs I've ever had. Super friendly staff helped me decide everything. Bread was amazing. I will definitely be back!

The DMV supermarket chains are about to get a run for the money now that Publix is slowly drifting up I-95 like kudzu. Clean aisles, well stocked items, employees on their best behavior and willing to go above and beyond, they even offer to drive the shopping cart to your vehicle and place items in your trunk or back seat. Also, let me tell you, not only do the supermarkets have formidable competition, but Wawa, Subway, Capriotti's, Jersey Mike's and any other sandwich shop better watch out for the Publix subs! On Saturday for the grand opening, the line for sub sandwiches were almost to the middle of the store! Oh, someone even created a Facebook page letting people know when the chicken tender subs are on sale! That immensely popular!

Publix is hyped up so much. Not to say it doesn't deserve it, but Publix gets much love from word of mouth. It's a very nice grocery store that focuses on being clean and put together. You will not find a messy Publix. I think they're unique characteristic is their "pub subs." It's freshly made sub sandwiches that you can make your own, or choose a premade combination of cheese, meats, and sauces

I'm in pain leaving this review. I grew up with publix in Florida. This location just isn't doing it for me. Aside from not putting out the proper sides that go with mojo pork (rice and beans) as advertised on the website, this is the second time I bought food from there and it was bad. The first time, I thought it was a fluke, this time, I had to return the food to the store. The chicken I bought appeared okay when I looked briefly in the box window. However, after getting home and preparing to serve to a child is when I noticed it was burnt to heck and drenched in oil. Needless to say, I won't be getting the chicken here anymore.

I got the Beyond burger and let me tell you... IT WAS HUGE! So fresh with all the toppings and be prepared it takes a while to make but worth every minute of wait (to the point I thought mine wasn't being made LOL). I got mine with onion rings and let me say i can't wait to get those again! I also added the dipping sauce to try since why not?! My family got the BLT, steak && cheese sub, and shrimp basket. Everyone CRUSHED! They don't skimp on the fries w each meal either. You are going to be full. Cute 'I Love Lucy' themed spot with the can in the parking lot. I wish i could special request tuna because i know it'd be amazing! THANK YOU NYID

The Castellano had a crisped pile of gorgeous beef, with crispy fries, and super fresh veggies (basically a cheeseburger on a sub). My husband ordered this one, so I didn't taste it personally but he absolutely LOVED it. The Thommy, The Three Fingers is a chopped cheese. It's, by god, the best I've ever had in my life. I add peppers, provolone and mayo and an extra side of tzatziki (labeled garlic cucumber on the menu), and oil and vinegar (which tastes like Italian dressing, but who's counting?). The bread is phenomenal. I may literally just order a sub roll with no ingredients one day, just so I can eat it toasted with butter, with every meal I have. It's soft and fluffy, crispy and chewy all at the same time. (It almost gives bagel, but not tough). I also got the y cheesecake. Not as special, perhaps from the Cysco truck (iykyk), but I still bought it and scarfed it down. Strawberry topping was def the average canned-strawberry topping (but I personally love that). I cannot stress, the food is OUT OF THIS WORLD! As for service, the entire team is so friendly and helpful. They kid around, make silly jokes and make sure your order is prepared fresh and fast. It isn't "fast food fast", but also doesn't taste like shit either, so the wait is worth it. At most 10-15 min if you don't call ahead. As for seating, in winter there are only two two-tops so seating is extremely limited. It is mostly a deli-and-get-outta-here kind of place, but nonetheless welcoming and charming. They have tons of Italian memorabilia all over the walls including giant GodFather posters, taxi plates and more. Today was my first time inside, but I've had my husband go pick up food several times on the way home. I cannot live without one of these subs AT MINIMUM once a month.

The owners had a bright and friendly disposition with every single person that came in, and for those they knew, they took the time to interact with them. The sandwich I had was good too, which made this experience even better. After some thought, I had to downgrade this to a 3. This place is dirty. Their menu was quite large, with hot dogs, cold subs, hot sandwiches, and paninis listed. They also feature a couple soups daily. When we went, they had a loaded baked potato soup and a lobster bisque. The young girl working the front was very happy and helpful and gave some good suggestions too. The place is quaint, with several tables and lots of historic signs on the walls. We started with their baked potato soup - The overall flavor was nice. But the potatoes in it were rubbery, like they used the wrong type of potato or maybe over-cooked it. Also, the soup was just warm, far from being served hot. Next up were the sandwiches - I chose the BBQ chicken sandwich, which had thinly sliced chicken breast on it, along with BBQ sauce, mayo, and onions. The sandwich was pressed, like a panini and was pretty good. I liked the smokiness of the BBQ sauce. I also got a bottle of their homemade root beer and it was pretty good. They serve Route 11 potato chips, which are my favs! So, I had to pick up a bag of Mama Zuma for later - those things are spicey, hot, and tasty! Overall, it's a nice spot, I can see them being a popular lunch spot downtown.
