I even saw the guy coming out from cleaning the Men's room put away the cleaning supplies and broom abd leave the women's with dirty toilet paper on the floor and no toilet paper anywhere... thank goodness they do have seat covers. I can't pass on wawa's matcha latte. I got the seasonal pumpkin spice matcha. They never disappoint and quite frankly the lattes are cheaper than Starbucks. There is nothing better than their avocado toast, I always customize mine with the garlic aioli with parmesan and sometimes with egg. It's my favorite. I got my food at a good time. The bathroom wasn't clean. It grossed me out a tad bit. I didn't even bother to use the restroom and wash my hands. Aside from the cleanliness the food is what was important and I left satisfied. The location is great and I love that it's conveniently near the Richmond airport. It's a best place to just do a grab and go and fill up your gas. Stopped in a little before 4 am to fill up the rental car before I returned it to the airport. Pump did not dispense the receipt which forced me to enter the store. I approach the register to get my receipt and the guy next to me at the register that was mulling around mumbled something to me. I asked the cashier to interpret what he said and she responded "He asked you for a dollar". The dude was obviously strung out on drugs as he was mumbling and stumbling. This actually scared the crap out of me so I gave him 2 dollars and got the heck out of dodge. I just got off the phone with the manager to make him aware of what happened and he could not have cared less. He asked what I think he should do about it and I told him to maybe instruct the staff to not allow crackheads to loiter by the cash register and maybe they should call the police. He responded .... I had a great experience at this location. I stopped by before starting my road trip to Washington, DC. Didn't really think I would be writing a review about Wawa, but after today I thought I would. Stopped bye this Wawa while driving to a customers house to grab a drink. It's pretty close to the airport, so as Bob Marley would sing" It be jamming". When I first walked it, I thought it was a little more unkempt then most Wawa's I go in, but hey high traffic right. We this staff was one of the most friendly I have encountered. I got a "Hi" from everyone there. The register lady was quite talkative, but in a very pleasant and fun way. She made a couple of comments about the Monster Drink I got that made me chuckle. Then I got a pat on the back and was asked if I wanted some free samples of some shake they had just made. What really stuck out at this location was the friendliness and the hustle of the staff. The store was busy for the lunch rush and I saw the general manager, Mike, making sandwiches on the line with his team.
