I ordered two ham and cheese hoagies and a hot roast beef with sharp provolone and hot peppers. The ham and cheese hoagies had two slices of ham- it was more like an oil and onion hoagie that was falling apart. The roast beef didn't have the hot peppers on it like I ordered so when I called, he just told me he was very sorry and didn't try to make it right. I ate almost half of the ham and cheese hoagie when I bit into something hard which was a piece of wood. I'm assuming the wood came from a cutting board but I still find this completely unacceptable. Unfortunately, this will be my first and last time trying Waskos.

The food took a little while but it wasn't too bad, in that time I tried to find a table that was clean and the only one I could find was next to the bathrooms. Food came out after a wait, dine-in was packaged to go, warm. Chicken sandwich is very dried out, I think I would have had a bigger piece of chicken if I got a McChicken instead. The fries didn't taste all that good, I think they're the first time I've left fries behind in quite a few years. Soda was strong, the coke zero had a lot of syrup- it was pretty much the only thing that this place did right. It just felt a little rundown, a little dirty, and a little like nobody wanted to be there. There are a couple competitors nearby that with house slow this place is, you can get there, get your better food, and drive back to this parking lot faster.

The chicken is simply the best if you life juicy, tasty chicken with little breading... it's healthy! I do love the crunchy, crispy breaded chicken but this is better and you don't feel bloated after eating and you can taste the chicken without the starchy breaded coating. The Crinkle fries are the best ! I could eat 5 orders of the fries ! The burgers are also amazing,?I haven't tried anything else , it's chicken or burgers when I visit! The service is quick and they have a nice counter if you want a quick meal all alone. The old school decor is right out of a 1950's movie set, I love the nostalgia and it's extremely clean and well kept. There's a reason this place is famous, actually many reasons!

The menu has a lot of ice cream, sundae, and "float" options as well as a lot of choices for mix ins. My husband got a a double cheese burger and said it's probably best fast-food burger he's had. The patties are thin, and cooked to get that crust on the outside. I had an all beef hot dog and it was good. The bun was a little overdone, but not the end of the world. They have shoestring fries, which I thought were delicious. Their onion rings were also good compared to other fast food rings I've had. We tried the cheese curds, and I felt they were way overdone and about half burned. I wouldn't get them again. I expected the service to be faster than it was, but the food was fresh and came out hot, so I'm willing to wait a few extra minutes. Overall, I would recommend this as a good burger spot!
