I ordered delivery via Doordash, it showed up quick. Milkshake, Fries, Chicken Sandwich, Tenders. The tenders were very small and the chicken sandwich had a tough, Woody texture. Like nuked chicken. I called the store and asked to have it remade, and when I arrived I was greeted by a super standoffish staff, including who I assume was a manager. Apologizing a little too much (kinda in a not so nice way), manager grilling me on what EXACTLY was wrong with the sandwich. "Was it overcooked?" "Nope, bad cut of meat" "undercooked?" "No, the chicken had a tough Woody texture. It was just a bad piece of meat". "I don't understand". Here's what was wrong: it was a bad cut of meat. It happens. This place is phenomenal. Whenever I'm craving a burger anymore I skip McD's and head here for a Big Way which is somehow less expensive these days. Well let me say that this Wayback used to be my go to for tasty shakes, delicious burgers and banging chicken tenders but wow have times have changed!! Now you get sloppy food, super slow service, unhelpful service team and corporate eeek it's pretty bad. So all in all, unless you have 30 minutes to kill waiting after your quoted order time or you want to deal with the mess of an experience you will most likely get to get mediocre food then go here! read more

Place was very clean and fully staffed. Ordered the single Chipotle and was underwhelmed personally. Thinnest beef patty I've ever seen. Too heavy on sauce for the lack of meat. Skip the single if you want your burger fix. Friendly service with table delivery. Under $22 for three of us is reasonable, but I left still a tad hungry. My daughter and I stopped here for lunch because we had a coupon and I wanted to see if these burgers were better than your standard fast food. It's located in same shopping center as Dunkin doughnuts. We saw as we were walking in that they had outside dining, which is a plus for the spring. This restaurant was very clean in side and the employees were very friendly and kind. I ordered the philly burger combo and my daughter choose the chicken tenders kids meal. We were told to get our drinks and sit down and they will bring our food out when it was done. The wait was not too long, about 10 minutes. If you're planning to order out, I d suggest to call ahead. We were pretty hungry when our food arrived and disappointed when we saw it. My daughter said pretty loudly that the tenders did not look like the photo on the board, the breading did not look right and it had a lot of fat. She did not eat them at all. My burger also did not look like the photo on the board and tasted like a standard fast food burger. The meat looked like a higher grade, but tasted like a mix between Burger King and McDonald's. The mushrooms and onions did not look fresh. The fries on the other hand were very delicious. You get a large serving of them with your meals, so we had some to take home and snack on. I brought them home to my husband and he liked them as well and they were pretty cold by then. I expected a better meal for a $11 combo, but I might have had a higher standard. I am willing to try them again in the future and see if their other kids meal and adult combos are better. I will update my review if I come back. read more

Doordashed from wayback, was given incorrect sauces, burger was made incorrectly (missing cheese, didnt have cheeeesy style buns, and i can see in my order i selected all these things), cheese fries had so MUCH cheese it leaked all over and literally had to be scooped off with a spoon. Ive never had a problem with this location before food wise, but do get the occasional bad attitude if we go any time after 6. Maybe they're rushing to get done for the night, which I understand, but I expect something close to what we ordered. I try to use yelp for positive reviews, but what the heck, man Onion rings and the other burger were perfect though. I went here for a date night with my husband a few weeks ago and the whole experience was (as the kids say) "mid." Which for all your old folks means terrible. The customer service was lower than the McDonalds almost adjacent and the men working were sitting eating before making our orders and I did not notice them wash their hands or put gloves on before making our meals. When handing us our food the man was rude and did not even address us (as we were the only people in the whole resturaunt (probably for a reason)). They were also very short and rude to the one polite man who did not speak english very well. Overall not a great experience and the food was a grease ball. definitely not coming back- again- just go to McDonalds. The customer service will be 10 times better. read more

Went here Sat eve looking forward to a quick burger. Arrived at 8:45 pm, plenty of people inside eating and OPEN sign still on. Wait in line behind a long winded woman who put her order in. Then was promptly ignored for about 10 minutes by cashier who finally asked "Oh, are you waiting to order?"!! No, I'm just standing here at your cashier being ignored. So I start to begin ordering when a short blond haired goateed manager steps in and tells us that they can't take an order an they are closed now. They have plenty of patrons in the restaurant eating and just took an order in front of me then left me hang for about 10 mins before telling me this. Completely rude and totally unacceptable service. I would not recommend anyone support this establishment. On my visit I had the Southwest Chipotle Burger. It was tasty but needed more sauce. Wayback's burgers are thinner than other burger chains. I found that a Triple Wayback is on par sizewise with a Five Guys double burger. Wayback's fries need improvement. They give you a large portion but I'd rather have better fries than more fries. Fast, friendly service and the store is clean and much more spacious than their old location in Exton. read more

When I walked in who did I see but AMY CONEY BARRET along with CLARENCE THOMAS. They order 5 burgers to split between them and once Clarence ate all 5 of them before Amy could get a morsel they began to fornicate on the table adjacent to us. I was in awe. But not in a good way. Ordered a burger, onion rings, and a cafe mocha shake from Doordash. I knew the food wouldn't be hot so had the oven ready. Put the onion rings in a rack and into the oven. They heated through, the batter crisped up, but there was absolutely no onion flavor. I looked, there was a ring of onion inside, but absolutely no flavor. How is that even possible? The bottom of the pan was covered in grease - after heating for just 10 minutes! The burger was edible, although I ordered grilled onions and got minced raw onions instead. Worst service, ever. After waiting more than fifteen minutes, while other orders went out ahead of ours, we asked. At that point, the "manager" had come out and was working the grill. We were told it would be another 5 minutes...while other orders were still being filled ahead of ours. At that point I asked for a refund. The girl at the counter, who had taken my money to begin with, didn't know how to refund. The manager gave her instructions and went back to the grill. She called another employee over, who finished the refund. I paid $23.05...and received 20.52, even with the receipt handed to them. When asked, the girl who did the refund seemed very put upon, saying, "well, I could reenter your entire order and..." At that point, I said never mind, it's just not worth it. That got me a very sarcastic, "have a GREAT weekend." I work in the service industry. At no point was I rude or mean. Very Underwhelming. This was our first trip to this place so I ordered a simple single bacon cheeseburger with small fries and husband order the grilled chicken ranch. No line, not busy and still service was slow. Burger was as thin as a McDonald's Burger and tasted like one. The chicken ranch husband said his food was forgettable it was dry and overcooked. He threw half of it away. Fries where okay. For the $20 we paid for the food we could of gotten better meal at Wendy's. I have been to this location a handful of times since it opened and while I do enjoy the food the service leaves something to be diesired. I was in on my lunch break thursday hoping to pick up some food for me and the boys and when i came in there was no one at the register, which is strange because they ussualy have a good crew in there. Wayback burger has always had great food in their restaurant. That being said, I had worked at the new one in Phoenixville right next West side and it is the worst place I have worked at/ate at. Serving raw chickens to customers, fries being cold, milkshakes not being mixed enough, burgers being raw, just an unsanitary environment. The food quality over all is not what I had expected before it had opened. People are so mean there, everyone gets treated differently, people's attitudes are just terrible. My experience there had ruined it for me and it's a shame. read more
