What can I say about Wawa's. I remember more than 15 years ago a friend from Philly telling me how great Wawa's was cheap prices great food and great service. It was my surprise then when Wawa started opening stores here in Orlando and he was right lobster bisque corn chowder great sandwiches decent prices however over the years many of those great things have been lost . What was once go to place to eat breakfast sandwiches a great Philly cheesesteak and a nice soup are now gone still a decent place to go get gas and a coffee but I think it's lost a lot of his charm quality and the things that made it great. after passing the store for the past year I decided to go in and give it another chance I purchased a cheesesteak to my surprise they no longer have sautéed onions and the cheese steak was dry sorry but I won't be back again. read more

I asked the person making beverages if there would be more Holiday Blend, but they didn't answer. Yes it is 9 PM, but it's cold outside and a Tuesday when they offer free coffee for rewards members. I noticed last night that the Wawa down the road had FINALLY opened. Time to go! Food? Stopped in for breakfast this morning. I was impressed and slightly disappointed at the same time. I ordered (via the touch screen) a small Philly cheesesteak & egg breakfast hoagie with sauteed onions on it. Since I'd never been in Wawa before, I had to ask where to go pay (rookie). Got paid up and headed back to wait for my food. It came out pretty quickly hot & ready. I walked back to my car to eat it there before driving to work. When I unwrapped the sandwich, immediately all the egg fell out. I guess it was good that there was so much steak in it, but the egg didn't fit in the hoagie. It was mainly just laid on top, and barring a miracle opening of the wrapper in just the right fashion, it was going to fall out. I had to basically put my sandwich back together again on my lap. About half-way through the remade sandwich I noticed that while being delicious, something was definitely missing. Since my sandwich had spilled out all over the place, it was easy to then notice that they had not put sauteed onions on my sandwich. What's a cheesesteak without onions!? I checked both my receipt and the one taped to the sandwich and they both said sauteed onions, so they just forgot. Bummer, it could have been so excellent! I'll probably hit them up for dinner tonight as the wife is away and I could walk here for another opening special for $2.99! Gas? Due to the lack of onions, I didn't burp up or gas out in the other direction nearly as much as I would have expected from a yummy, greasy philly cheesesteak. Oh, other gas? It was $3.05 on opening day. Most places around were $3.15 to $3.10. I was sad when my new job took me away from passing Costco daily. I think this Wawa will be my new go-to place! read more

I watched this store being built with my own eyes. Build it right boys and girls, is what I would yell from the car as I passed by, as I plan to visit much. It's new, it's open, and it's packed!!! Fuel is CHEAP, and the food and service is what is expected from any wawa. It's still so new yellow tape is still up in some locations, and the outside eating area is still not yet open. So happy to have new location closer to the house. read more

Quality meat, cheeses and breads are the key to the hoagie. My personal favorites are both the turkeys. Skip the roasted red peppers as they are soggy but the other veggies are spot on. If you're in a hurry or not, don't think twice about stopping into a wawa to get a quality hoagie to satisfy you're need for a quick alternative to subway. What can Wawa improve on, can I get some type of non sugary drink!?? We used to go all time to Wawa. But we moved so there isn't one on our way, today after a few months we went back, o decided to try the broccoli and cheddar soup, my favorite from Panera, I got the small one to try it out, the price is great, and for my surprise I loved it! It is not the same as Panera, but it is really good. The reason for me to give 4 stars not 5 was the waiting time for it. It took longer then usual. Another point was the quantity of meet on the philly sandwich, before it used to come with a lot, now is not the same, my husband ordered one and I got a small one as well and both were with less meat then usual. Ordered a sandwich and Mac n cheese for the kids and I drive home about 20 minutes away, it's a plain bread and a soup. They even put the paper on it that says what it's supposed to be. I work the food service but damn, how idiotic do you have to be? I was the only person there ordering too. I'm just shocked. Never again. read more

It's easily the best quality food on the go. I love how close it is to home. The ease of ordering should be mimicked in all other fast food establishments. The touch screen ordering leaves very little room for error. I love the Cuban Sandwich!, I have it regularly...the only negative would be if you select too many ingredients on your hoagie it tends to be very messy. They should limit the number of ingredients if it means the sandwich is going to fall apart on you. read more

Great location, in a very busy area. On the corner of Orange Ave. And Hunter's Creek Blvd.. Always packed. Love the free air. Drives me crazy that other stations charge for air. Like the outside dining tables. Usually the tables are all taken when I stop by so they must be good. Love the way you order your sub here. Computerized system that is extremely easy to use. Also, order specialty drinks on here. I like the prepared cut fruit in the middle case when you walk into the store. A quick good fast treat. Their brand of ice tea/lemonade is the best. Love the freestyle soda machine. What I don't like about this location is the fountain area seems not clean and kept up enough. The bathrooms seemed taken care of. I absolutely love Wawa, and I wanted to love this one, too. However, the service here was very mediocre, and the coffee I got was horrible. The good: the place was clean, shelves stocked, etc. The bad: One of the coffee drinks, an iced latte, was prepared almost correctly, but barely had any ice. The second, an iced macchiato, was made with steamed milk and little ice, resulting in a warm drink that wasn't very pleasant and that was mixed too much. It also took 25 minutes to prepare these drinks, when only one other person was waiting on anything. While the person who helped me wasn't rude, she was anything but friendly. I haven't been to this particular Wawa before, but I don't think I would like to come back. read more

I live so close to this place. When we walk in they always say, "welcome to Wawa!" And genuinely mean it. Sandwiches, hogies, burritos, and flats are always made perfectly, if not, they replace it immediately. Customer service is key here. The staff are very friendly, the store is very clean, bathrooms are cleaned and stocked, gas pumps are sanitized, trash is never overflowing, coffee is always brewed and ready, and shelves are stocked. Prices are reasonable. My favorite item they offer is the Italian Wedding soup. I recommend stopping an for a bite to eat. read more

I've been buying the same sandwich in 50 different Wawa's for the last 3 years and because I have it in the morning and at night I mix the item between cream cheese in the morning and one slice of pepper jack or swiss cheese in the afternoon instead of the cream cheese. I've been buying this for 5 years now from 50 different flowers as I said and there's no issue at the store every time I go there the manager Nicole asks for $0.20 extra which will actually give me two slices of of Swiss cheese instead of one. But since I'm vegetarian and trying to keep my physical health and in shape I try to avoid too much cheese the only reason I buy that Bagel is because it comes with cucumber tomatoes and I also ask them to add oregano on it. All the other stores that I've been to they have never had an issue and they actually know me by name because I am there in different areas on assignment for a construction company as a foreman and at the end of the day because I work later than the others I buy a bagel with ice tea or coffee and a few other snacks including filling up on gas. Since I've had this issue for the second time with his manager and I've been on the same and in this house in Maitland close to the Winter Park Wawa I have tried to avoid buying there as much as I can and I visit Blaze Pizza behind them and chipotle where they have the amazing veggie sandwich with guacamole and rice and beans and basically it's a huge platter. Everywhere I Go it's a pleasant experience because I am a pleasant person and I am always thinking how to make people happy and also I have many years of customer service experience and understand the business concept and how to keep a big corporate company with the return customers. At this point I will never get gas at WaWa which will be a lost to them of about $20,000 a year because we fill up at least $400 a week between the cars and SUVs and there's no need for the aggravation over $0.20 from that one particular Wawa on Orange Ave and Lee Road in Winter Park. Nicole the manager of corporate operations and she thinks that by aggravating a customer she is actually making $0.20 for the business when in fact she is losing thousands of dollars and at this point the policy is not in place but she said that it's her prerogative because it's her store so basically by me explaining to her that all the other stores are fine with the option of cream cheese instead of Swiss cheese or swiss cheese instead of cream cheese she says she doesn't care what the other stores do. Therefore she will lose me forever as a customer and also I got my friends and employees buying at Wawa which I will make sure to let them know the experience I've had and they can make their own decision. At this point it's not an issue with any of the Wawa's except the one on Lee Road in Orange Ave in Winter Park where the manager is so rude that I did not I did not anything but tell her that I will be getting my money back and never shopping there again since she is a woman and there's no way to argue out of respect for all the other women. I did however tell her that I am leaving and not shopping there again and I will be calling corporate which I did and they said it it is not their policy to have disrespected me and they try to please all customers with their menus which includes a lot of additional items that you could have including oregano or spinach or so forth. So basically this is the only store where the manager wants to run things her way. At this point it's not about the money or the $0.20 like I said I get extra cheese for the $0.20 but it's not something I am looking for it's about the customer experience and the only reason I go to Wawa and supposedly they are clean. I believe that corporate at Wawa should contact this lady and just ask her nicely that she should be more pleasant with paying customers because the food business inside is just an additional item from the gas business which we get on a daily basis or every other day. read more
