On the way to Orlando airport, there's an area where you can get off to get gas for your rental. I notice that this restaurant is new (to us at least for this trip), so we decided to stop for a meal instead of the airport option. The restaurant is clean and the staff are friendly as we walk in. The menu is simple - chicken roasted or fried with different sides. It comes with either dinner roll or corn tortilla. We have one of the each, and both chickens are delicious and flavorful! In addition to soda, they also offer aqua fresca. I have the horchata and it is not too sweet (a good thing). If you are local, or on your way to the airport, this is a good option for food. read more

I really enjoyed the chicken here. The food is really good. I like the fried chicken a little bit better than the grilled chicken cause it has a crunch and has a lot of flavor. The service here is really nice and the inside is very clean because it's brand new. I haven't tried the drive-through. I only been inside, but I love the side items. The mac & cheese is my favorite. This was my first time in any Pollo Campero, of which I've noticed a couple opening in my area. Ambiance is basic fast food: service is minimal. I had the Campero Bowl, with large chunks of fried chicken breast, cherry tomatoes, roasted corn-and-peppers mix, pinto beans and spring mix on a bed of rice topped with guacamole and crumbled feta. Judging by my chicken, their fried chicken is tasty, crunchy and well-cooked. It was a nice mix of flavor, and was served in an actual reusable, nice, plastic bowl. read more

This place was delicious! I purchased the 4 piece meal that came with 2 sides, a drink, and a roll/tortilla. The fried chicken was the perfect level of crispy with delicious seasoning, and I was impressed by the size of the thigh and breast, in particular. I went with a friend and we were able to sample each other's sides. He got the campero beans and sweet plantains, both of which were absolutely mouthwatering. My sides were the mac and cheese and sweet plantains. The mac was decent, but the real winners were those sweet plantains! The restaurant also has some fun beverages to try that are different than the usual sodas on tap. RUN for the horchata. I've never been a fan, but this completely changed my perspective on it. The staff was friendly and while you order at the counter, they bring your food out on real dishes with silverware, so it feels like a bit of an elevated dining experience. read more

The staff is nice and I can always order relatively quickly. The portions are a good size and everything is cooked well. My only issues are that they never have grilled chicken when I go and they've forgotten my sauce two times. Not deal breakers, I'd definitely go again. read more

My parents and I have been waiting for this location near us to open, and it finally has! We were excited to finally be able to eat here. I would compare it to a raising canes but make it Spanish. The food was really good but also limited. Just like raising canes the menu is small. But it definitely doesn't lack flavor. The staff here are very nice and sweet. It's also super clean, could be because they just opened. Anyways it was super packed inside we were lucky to find a seat. Next I go I want to try their campero bowl because it looked insanely good! read more

We saw the grand opening sign and we couldn't resist but to go inside and try it out! This restaurant did not disappoint. It was the best chicken we've ever had! We ordered the combination of fried and grilled to try both and it was so delicious! I will have to say, the fried chicken was so juicy and well seasoned that it left us wanting more. All of the sides we ordered were so good too. They gave us several choices of house sauce and we picked the campero and ranch. Both so good! The service was exceptional. We stopped here to get the 12 piece mixed fried chicken, coleslaw, mac and cheese, plantains and rice and beans to bring back to the house for dinner on our way home from the Magic Kingdom. Absolutely the BEST fried chicken I have ever had: crispy, juicy with flavorful seasoning! All of our sides tasted terrific! I especially liked the creamy coleslaw and I believe there was a hint of pineapple juice. And the plantains, so delicious! I wish there was a Pollo Campero in upstate NY. Came here the day after hurricane Milton, the process ordering through drive thru went well. They only had 1 cooker & 1 taking orders and both ladies were super nice! I ordered the Campero Bowl & it was very yummy and a good size portion! I will need to order again. read more

Stopped in this evening for chicken as the Pollo Compero in Chicago has always been delicious - this was a big mistake here in Orlando. Food was old, grilled chicken was dry as a rock as if it was reheated. They ran out of Mac and cheese and the Yukon fries were not fresh. Overall this location is quite an embarrassment to the Pollo Compero brand name and deserves a corporate audit to ensure food quality is actually being delivered at this location as it is not on par. Management was reluctant to make things right for our order and we will never be visiting this location again. read more

Staff doesn't speak good English, making our order process lengthy and difficult. When we got our food (to take out), ALL 4 meal's sides were missing. After we informed the staff, they acted all annoyed, confused and like they didn't know what to do. Then the lady that was serving us starts laughing whilst muttering 'sorry', and goes on giggling as she checked our order, touching the food without gloves on, ew gross! We spent almost $50 here ! Expected MUCH better! That being said the food is actually really good! Would love to return but they've got to step up the service. Really unsure if we would give it another try. read more

First time coming here because it's closer to home than the one in St. Cloud and Unfortunately this place had us waiting 45 minutes for our food and not just us there were 4 more tables in-front of us that order before us so I can't imagine how long they were waiting the place is a mess food all over the empty tables I believe they are low staffed but the wait is crazy the chicken that came out to one of the tables was raw and when we received our chicken it was RAW as well I was so disappointed our rice was cold everything was bad we gave it a try but we will not be coming here at all.. the cashier was doing his very best to get everyone helped in the front and helping in the back I will not say anything bad about that because he was actually trying but this place needs more workers and it needs more attention read more
