We make sure to go to Wawa and get our tomato soup our Panini and our sub sandwich. I actually prefer theirs over Subway or any other chain. I get my bread toasted and I usually get honey turkey and add some toppings with mayo oil and vinegar. It is top-tier. My grand loves the Panini with cheddar cheese and turkey. Add a little mayo. I like that you can sit curbside, especially when it's late with children. This is before 10 PM and they will bring it directly to your car if you pay in the app. You also earn points that get you free things inside the app. Also love to go and get their Frappuccino's. I love Wawa don't get me wrong bc there food is good but I seen a gentleman come in and had his own small container to put ice in it from the soda machine and before he walked out a Wawa employee stopped him and said he had to pay for the ice. C'mon are these gas stations that Petty to have him pay for basically water that turns into ice cubes. That's ridiculous. I mean really really really. Let me get this straight. I swung by Wawa for a sub recently, and it was decent enough to satisfy my sandwich cravings. The flavor was good, but they somehow managed to forget my tomato. I guess it isn't necessarily essential for an italian sandwich.. Alexis, the sub creator, was nice enough she seemed to have her sandwich game on point. Wawa continues to expand throughout Florida and for us transplants from the Northeast that is great news. Wawa is more than a gas station, it is an experience and for us from the Northeast, it brings back a flood of memories. For me, the best part about Wawa and what truly sets it apart is the subs that you can get it freshly sliced and prepared 24/7. I spent many a late night after carousing through the town at Wawa getting a late night feast before calling it a night. Wawa also offers free air for your tires, so there is often a line (hey, a buck saved here and there makes for a few bucks saved). Long awaited Wawa has finally made it to Ocala and we're doing a happy dance! I'm familiar with Wawa from traveling to other cities and to have one here is ideal. A convenience store is quite an understatement. Their freshly made meals are ideal for anytime of day. From daily made pastries to made to order hoagies, sandwiches, bowls, soups, sides and breakfast items are most of the main stays. These are ordered how you would like them via a computer. As if that's not enough the coffee's and latte choices are endless. Did I mention hot cocoa? Seven different kinds!! Restrooms are spotless and one of the things I love the most is there's always at least one associate on the floor cleaning something. The petro is the cheapest around so fill-er-up!!! read more

I have said it once and I will say it again, I love Gas Station food. Now I am sure you are thinking, how can someone love gas station food. Well keep reading and I will tell you why. WaWa is a Northeastern Gas station chain, that specializes in Gas, but also specializes in quality good. The company I believe was started in New Jersey and is starting to come down to Florida. There are already locations in Orlando and Tampa, but it is slowing moving north and I had to stop in Ocala just to go to WaWa. The menu is pretty complex and offers a wide range of breakfast items and then moves to lunch/dinner sandwiches and has a great dessert section. Of course you will find items like chips and soda inside, but you will find some pretty high class made to order sandwiches as well. WaWa also is the only gas station that always has my banks ATM inside. I am a PNC guy and it is so nice seeing PNC inside WaWa locations. For drinks they have the Coca Cola Free Style machines where you can mix any type of drink you would like. I love this and always get the 44 Ozer. Overall Wawa is a great addition. I can't wait for the Gainesville stores to open! read more

Got the breakfast quesadilla and it was so good!!! The process is to order your food/specialty coffee on the screens. Then a little receipt prints out, you take it to the register to pay, and then wait for them to call your number. The salsa on my quesadilla was so fresh and the tortilla was crispy. First time to try food at Wawa...heard it was decent. Go in to order..have to use a machine, then stand in LONG LINE at 6:15 A.M. to pay.
