I love Wawa gas & store. The best of the best is al I can say. I spennx the summers in Maine & hope Wawa's plans will include southern Maine, New Hampshire & all of New England. Have a sandwich, enjoy a 40z .99 fountain drink. Make sure you buy a Philadelphia pretzel at the register. read more

So today is the first time I've left a negative review about any establishment, or professional individual. ( I use the word "professional" loosely.) in my 38 years of living. The date I'm leaving the review for was for the night of Mar 13th. It's a little late, but I felt obligated to leave this review. On one hand, I can count the number of times I've sent my food back to a restaurant, returned something I've bought, etc. So the fact that I'm writing this review speaks volumes about our experience. I'm happy to elaborate. The other night (march 13th) around 11:30 pm I asked my fiance to grab me a smoothie from Wawa bc he and his buddy were going there to grab a few things. It was my fiances birthday so he was in a good mood and happy to oblige. Also, I'm pregnant, and he knows how my cravings are. He was wise enough to pick his battles. Lol. He and his buddy proceded to walk into Wawa in Ladylake just after 11:30 p.m., and are immediately informed that the registers are not accepting any form of payment other than cash. He orders my smoothie on the kiosk, and his buddy grabs the things he needs. They make their way to the front of the checkout line with about 40$ worth of product. They come face to face with the cashiers' somewhat familiar, extremely unfriendly face, and even worse attitude. She proceeds to ring up the items without uttering a single kind, or positive word. But at this point, this behavior is to be expected from this cashier. When it was time to pay, my fiances' buddy pulled a $100 bill out of his wallet. He only had two $100 bills on him. When he tried to hand the cashier the money she flipped out on him, screaming bout not being able to break a $100. I guess he wrongly assumed that a convenience store as busy as Wawa, thats only accepting cash at the moment would have accumulated enough cash to break a $100. Especially when the total was nearly $40. She then proceeded to make multiple offensive and uncalled-for comments towards them. She told our friend in a very loud voice that she would put away all the stuff that he couldn't pay for. The statement was not only humiliating but completely false. Then she leaves a whole line of customers to run over to the person making the smoothie, and to tell him not to give my fiance his smoothie, bc he didn't pay for it, and to throw it away. He was so embarrassed because she made a scene. My fiance and his buddy then had to go to the bank and pull out a couple of smaller bills, then made their way back to Wawa to get my smoothie. He rang it up on the kiosk and paid the same lady for it. This time she was willing to break a 10$. They opted not to get anything else. After he paid for the smoothie and went to pick it up, they handed him a cup, which he later realized, was the first smoothie they made for me. The worker just hadn't thrown it away. It was melted, and less than chilled. I've only ever had a problem with this particular cashier, and if I knew her name, I would do everything I could to make sure she wasn't working any type of customer service. Coming from a woman who worked retail or some type of customer service in the villages for 15-20 years, I know what good service is, and what bad service looks like. I also understand that people have bad days. this wasn't one of those incidents. This woman has been repeatedly nasty, and hateful to multiple people I've spoken to. They have a great establishment, and I have never had any problems until dealing with her. I've been a loyal customer since the day they opened the store, and i have nothing bad to say about the company, but if they want to keep business booming, I'd think about letting go of that wench cashier you have. She needs some time off to do some soul-searching, take a long look in the mirror, and figure out why she's so miserable. He misery loves company, and that is a recipe for disaster in customer service. read more

Just a great convenience store. Their coffee bar is great!! Very friendly staff. Many choices

Went for free coffee on Tuesday as advertised for rewards members. Coffee was denied because I didn't have the app on my phone even though I had presented the rewards card to the cashier. So I tried downloading the app to my iphone but WAWA doesn't have wifi. Cell service was no good inside the store. They just lost me as a customer. 7-11 is right down the street. read more

Subs are great! I've had the Italian both cold and toasted and enjoyed both. If that was all I tried it would have been 5 stars. I removed a star because we tried the sizzli breakfast sandwiches this morning. I had the biscuit with sausage, egg and cheese and hubby had the croissant with the same. Very disappointing. The sausage was so thin I couldn't taste it. The biscuit was dry. I threw most of it away. The croissant was about the same, it was a smashed mess. I wouldn't have known it was a croissant if I hadn't ordered it. Both were loaded with cheese but it was tasteless also. McDonalds breakfast sandwiches are much better so that should tell you something. read more

Grand openings are always crazy but this crew is doing a good job. This is a very welcome addition to the community. The product selection is outstanding and I've already noticed the gas prices at the local competitors have already come down to match Wawa's prices. Some may also be interested to know that they have ethanol free gas. read more
