I stumbled upon Purdue Memorial Union because I was staying at the Union Club Hotel, and was looking for something to do, so I went for a little walk. And then I realized that not only was I staying on the campus of Purdue University, but I was staying in part of a building meant for students! Purdue Memorial Union is huge and a neat place to hang out. I would imagine it would be a cool place to study, as well, and I did see a few students doing that. There's also a Starbucks on site, as well as a food court, but when I visited in the morning, none of the restaurants were open. Perhaps they are just open for lunch and dinner. You'll also find a bowling alley and gaming center somewhere within the recesses of this student union, and lots of places to sit and corners to hole up in.
