Wawa has certainly expanded its presence throughout Florida and that is certainly good news for Floridians, but for Floridians who relocated here from eastern Pennsylvania and New Jersey, it was bringing a piece of home down here to the Sunshine State. Wawa is so much more than a simple gas station. Yes, it features a multitude of gas pumps offering competitive prices and I applaud them for offering air for your tires from an air pump that does not require a payment. Should be common sense, but most gas stations have decided that they can generate a few more dollars by charging people to put air in their tires. Wawa goes above and beyond in customer service by letting people get air without a surcharge. But for me and I would hazard a guess that endears Wawa to most of us is the food that they offer, mostly their subs (what they call hoagies due to their original locations). These subs, er, hoagies are freshly made 24/7 and many, myself included, have ended an evening festivities at a Wawa grabbing an end of the night snack in the form of one of their subs, hoagies, or whatever you want to call them. They have both hot and cold sub/hoagie things, as well as other foods like breakfast sandwiches, bagels, bowls, etc. I also have always liked their pretzels, available at the cash registers. Oh, speaking of their food, keep an eye out for Hoagiefest, where they offer any sub st a discounted price. Truly a good deal. So, yes, I recommend Wawa. I would almost climb a mountain to scream its praises for the four winds to carry to the far planets of this world (perhaps even going so far as to reach my home state of New Jersey). Check them out, you will be a convert.

Wawas are pretty awesome! This one is no exception and it's everything you would expect a Wawa to be: *Cheap gas *Hot food *Snacks *Milkshakes *Clean restrooms *Etc. *Etc. *Etc. This one gets 4 thumbs up from me!

    Great price!

Clean as they always are. The food though, not good. Came in to get some soup and ordered on the machine. Waited 14 minutes and then the guy yells over the wall that there is no clam chowder. He was entirely ambivalent about that. I asked him why he didn't tell me that before I waited for 15 minutes. He lied to my face and said "well we took it out of the computer but you must have slipped through" which is not a reason to wait 15 minutes to tell me that they were out. Then I walked over to the computer and it was still in there. Just lies. That is sad that one guy can ruin the reputation of a nice place like this.

This is what I found on my sandwich from this Wawa!!!! Paper in between the meat!!! Disgusting!!

You really need to retrain your lunch time staff. This is the 3rd or 4th time I have had something missing from my order, the wrong sandwich, paper in my sandwich, forgetting the salad I ordered along with my sandwich and this last time they forgot my salad and when I said something I received dirty looks, it was quickly thrown together with no care ( the wrong lettuce) and hastily slid at me with no bag that the dressing which was on top of the salad fell to the floor and opened. I asked for another salad and it went through 4 workers before one of them just got it for me. This was the last time I visit the Wawa at 11812 beach Blvd!!!!!

I was excited to try their "soft" pretzels, but they feel hard to me. =/

I have a confession...I like Wawa's coffee! Noooo, it's not because I was bribed with free coffee and hot chocolate during their grand opening celebration, but it's actually good! I like that I don't have to add a ton of cream or sugar for it to taste good. So 5 stars just for coffee? Of course not! Lol Typically I only go to gas stations to fill up, unless I'm traveling and need to make a pit stop to use the restroom, but I'll go to Wawa even if I don't need gas. This location is fairly new, it's bright and clean, and they have plenty of pumps so I never have to wait to fill up. I've ordered a sandwich and a hoagie and I did like the Cuban sourdough melt but didn't care for the hoagie. The chicken noodle soup was pretty tasty. Their fresh squeeze orange juice was just ok, not something I would buy again. My girls love the stuffed pretzels. After the grand opening, they sent a flyer with coupons and stated they offer reasonable gas prices or something along that line. So far I've been impressed that it wasn't just a marketing gimmick and their gas prices are reasonable (in general gas prices at gas station are less on Beach Blvd then the ones off Atlantic). See my tips regarding their app if you like freebies. The newest version still doesn't work for me so I just log onto my account on hubby's phone since he didn't update to the newest version. The employees aren't super friendly as they were during grand opening week, but friendly enough and there's usually no wait or a short wait to cash out. Good coffee, clean store, decent food options, plenty of pumps, competitive gas prices, occasional freebies, and efficient employees are all the reasons for the 5 star rating.

The introduction of Wawa has turned this town upside down when it comes to "convenient stores." Once the announcement was made they were moving in, you could see the immediate reaction from Daily's and Gate all over the city. Pretty decent food along with an app enabling you to pre-order sandwiches for breakfast and lunch (and dinner if you want) are definitely a level up from the norm and about 10 levels up from the days of Jiffy and Li'l Champs. Did I just expose my age? #OldManfromJacksonville I've made Wawa a regular stop because of their aggressive gas prices. At one point, gas was about .25 cheaper than my side of town - WHAT? That can add up quickly in my V8 so the savings help to increase my lunch outings for YELP! #SYOY

I was walking back to my shed and I was so hungry I stopped at this wawa. I was eating a meat ball sub and snapped and starting vigorously having sex with my meatball sub picture included. The Philly Cheesesteak looked so good I had to give that a try to. Then I moved onto my milkshake. You guys know how can taste things with your balls? This milkshake really hit the spot. I had to get on all fours on the table to get the right angle. It really helped me deal with the trauma of my 3rd wife leaving me. Thank you wawa staff.

My daughter asked to go by "any" WaWa to see what all the FIS was about. We had just finished her Saturday volleyball practice, she was Uber hungry and I always let her choose our lunch spot. Walking in, half of the store is dedicated to preparing food and drinks, so if you are into performance ratios, that should help you make your choice. I did not see any menus, but I did see a scrolling kiosk, so we step up to it, touched the screen and the rest was self intuitive. Ordering was really easy with the food choices broken down into sections like flatbreads, club sandwiches and soups. Once you press on a section, you are offered a standard preparation or you can choose to "customize it", by formatting your own meal. There are also options to make a combo, by adding a soup and each section has add for options like sour cream (quesadillas), peppers (sandwiches), or adding chips. Speaking of chips, they have a Costco size section of chips to please any chip lover or chip allergy. We kept to pretty standard faire, a chicken salad club, chicken quesadilla, chicken noodle soup and lemonade. The lemonade was really refreshing, but the hot of the visit was the chicken noodle soup. It was phenomenal and packed with chicken, noodles, and vegetables in a flavorful broth. The other items were good, but not destination good,if that makes since. Overall a good visit and if you are pressed for time and need gas, a worthy option. If you are looking for a special lunch spot to impress someone with your knowledge of good food, maybe this is not your spot.

Wawa hoagies are well known to be among the best. I'm a grill cheese addict so I could not resist trying this for my first visit. It isn't as buttery as a grill cheese from happy grill cheese, but they do sell herrs chips here which only adds to the tastiness. My pumpkin spice smoothie was nice. Not too flavorful to overwhelm after a couple of sips, but more milkshake than smoothie.

Finding a clean table in the dining room was a bit more of a challenge. Each surface I checked was visibly dirty. I found a pack of wipes near the trash cans so I was able to clean my own table to have a sanitary surface to enjoy my lunch. In about 10 min our meals were ready. I ended up having chicken, mashed potatoes, gravy and peach mango pie. I also got the mango drink which is my favorite here. My food was good and I still think Jollibee is one of the best chain Korean fried chicken restaurants available but the cleanliness of this location might make me think twice about eating here in the future.

That attention is a luxury these days and I wanted to make a note of that. The cashier would go from table and ask if anyone needed anything and we got into a discussion of how good the tempura green beans are. This is a hidden gem she gets everyday and I agree. It is lightly breaded, crunchy, and pairs excellent with ranch. Now I couldn't wait to rave about the burgers. Hands down the best "fast food". The burgers came out medium and perfect. I got the double and char burger with lettuce tomato, onion, bacon, cheese, mayo, ketchup, and mustard. The burgers came was juicy and reminded me of home cooked burger. Each bite the taste was of a cornucopia of flavors blending together of perfect harmony. I just can't give justice to these burgers you have to try for yourself. And the seats were cushy and comfortable. Half the burger was covered in paper so your hands don't get messy while eating. Nice! The sandwich included a chargrilled beef patty, shredded lettuce, tomato, pickles, and caramelized onions. I love onions but caramelized onions took it to another level. And it was topped with mayo on a toasted bun. The burger was fresh and juicy and there were plenty of fixins. The sweet potato fries were hot and yummy. But my friends tempura green beans stole the side order show. They were lightly breaded and fried and served with a side of ranch for dipping. I couldn't get enough of them! I can't wait to go back and order them again;))
