Listennnnnn... Wawa wins. I've always been a Wawa fan, but THIS Wawa is, as the cool kids say, "the gag". While I was pregnant, I somewhat craved mangos. That was when we discovered Wawa's delicious smoothies. I got a mango smoothie with whipped cream more often than I want to admit. Anywho, I went in there the other day and got the best hoagie, strawberry banana smoothie, kale salad, and argo tea! I was in heaven and couldn't believe my meal came from a gas station. I've already looked the tea up in hopes of being able to order it again or find it in a larger quantity at another store. Let me tell yall about the kale salad though. I went back the next day and bought three for me to eat later on in the week for lunch. Don't even bother going to this location to see about the kale salad that I'm talking about because I bought them all. I'm anxiously awaiting the next shipment as we speak... Needless to say, Wawa is my new guilty pleasure lunch/dinner/whatever spot. And, quiet as it's kept, I don't even feel *that* guilty about it. read more

Use to be my goto but not anymore. Hoagiefest has changed and the last straw was employees speaking bad about each other while we were waiting!!! The kitchen manager defended them and it was about her. I feel sorry for her. I won't say what was said because it's just mean and hurtful read more

We literally waited over 40 mins for a food order. Inadequately staffed and terrible service. Not prepared for late night crowds. I've gone to many sit down restaurants with faster service than this Wawa. read more

Busy as all wawas are. Friendly team members every visit. Bathroom could use some serious attention ad they have some long term issues that need to be resolved. The shelves are always well stocked and the line is always fast, but I tend to use self checkout to avoid people lol read more

There are two kinds of people: those who love Wawa and those who are wrong. Joking (kinda) aside, this is my favorite location in Richmond of the chain. I may or may not have started going out of my way to come here because one of the workers was unbelievably handsome, but I stayed a regular over the years because of the service. Every worker I've interacted with has been wonderful. They are efficient, accommodating, and friendly and chatty in a way that makes this feel like a neighborhood store. I love the coffee (and you really can't beat the price) and the freshly made food is absolutely a step above what you can expect from any other fast food restaurant or convenience store. Their gas is always competitively priced, and it's one of the few places where I never have to wait for an available pump. read more

Great people work here that are friendly to the customers. They have gas, hot prepared or cold foods, smoothies, sodas and bottled water etc. If you're interested in playing the lottery then they have that as well from daily pickings to scratch off tickets. WaWa started in Pennsylvania where their corporate office is located. WaWa is a great place for stopping when traveling as they have clean restrooms and coffee too. The only difference is that if you've been used to the subs at the WaWa in the northern states you'll notice a difference in the taste. If you don't believe me, stop at WaWa in Pennsylvania or New Jersey and get a sub there. You'll see the difference. The subs at the local WaWa here aren't bad but they're not as great as they are up north. read more

I prefer Wawa b/c it's alot bigger than your typical convenience/one stop shop and it has more options. This place has a smoothie maker/mixer, Subs, Sammies, Pints of ice-cream and half gallon iced teas, fruit/cheese platters, etc. It's also always staffed properly to handle the heavy food traffic that comes throughout the day. Also, this location has a car wash that is pretty solid. You can choose between 5, 8, 10, and 12 dollar options and all do a great job. read more

I love Wawa because we don't have it in North Carolina and it reminds me of New Jersey. I always have to stop in for a hoagie and some coffee when I am in Richmond and this location is easy to find on the main road and has gas, food and coffee. Nicki was really friendly after I ordered my latte on the kiosk. She double checked that I only wanted espresso and milk and no other fancy flavors. Wawa's kiosks are really user-friendly and you pick what you want, take the paper slip to the register and pay and then pick up your food or drink when it is ready. read more

Just like all the other Wawas - friendly, dependable, and efficient. I've been to Wawa more times than I care to mention. Simply put, they make some of the best fast-food/gas station food around. Try the breakfast hoagies or lunch hoagies and iced coffees. They were out of all iced coffees at 8am, but they were quickly refilled after I mentioned it to the cashier. for a convenience store/gas station its not bad at all here is what i got 1. hoagie-cheesesteak, egg and some veggies- by the time i got to tearing it open to eat it, it was a bit soggy but still good. what really got me irritated was when i found a small hair in my sandwich. then i stopped eating and threw it out, the spinach leaves were not as fresh as i wouldve liked 2. pumpkin spice latte-excellent 3. pretzel, soft style with mustard-excellent, and you cant beat the price! it was like 60-sumthing cents ambiance unfortunately, unlike other fast food places(mcd's. DD,BK) there is nowhere to sit, but the place was VERY clean price everything i got was around seven bucks, which is on par with most fast food places. id say its a good value for the money i did not get gas here, but its no way cheaper than BJs and im not sure about the quality of wawa gas so there... overall worth a try, id be willing to stop by if i was driving and need a quick bite to eat. read more

I am a HUGE fan of Wawa's sandwiches. They are simple, but so flavorful...and there are actually vegetarian options. Today, I ordered an egg salad sandwich... Simple order. Unfortunately, as soon as I took a big bite, I realized the woman had given me chicken salad. As a vegetarian, I was extremely disappointed and perplexed at how this mistake could even be made...the salads are 2 completely different colors! The manager Phil is the rudest, conceded, selfish, non personable person I've ever came across.. I feel he should not have the job title he has. I've actually had to stop coming to this wawa location and told my family and friends to do the same.. But the other employees are angels. Wawa always has reasonable priced gas. If you need quick food or snacks at a reasonable price, Wawa is a good choice. There are bathrooms for customers. Wawa is great for one stop convenient needs especially if you're making a pit stop off the road. read more

Wawa is quick food heaven and you can get gas at the same time. I love Wawa! We don't have anything similar to Wawa in LA which is disappointing. They have food made to order and it is fast and cheap! I love the computerized ordering screen which makes communication mistakes fool proof! But my absolute favorite thing about Wawa is the vast selection of COFFEE and the many flavors and choices for milk and creamers! Coffee here is made fresh all the time. I came here one day for breakfast last week and wasnt disappointed thats for sure. I had their pumpkin spice latte from the machine they have out which was amazing and better than even the Starbucks version in my opinion and it was like 2 bucks for a medium. i then hot the sausage egg burrito with salsa, that was the bet breakfast burrito ive had in awhile, i would not recommend eating it on a weekly basis, because with 650 calories over a thousan sodium and like 50 carbs for one burrito may not go well if you are normally a healthy person such as myself. most the time lol. last thing the customer service was great, one of the managers rang me up and i felt as if he was an all around good person and made me laugh at his witty self. ill probably go again tomorrow! read more

My little secret is that I love Wawa coffee!! They always have several roasts and flavors when I go in the morning and I end up mixing a few for my own creation. A cup of coffee from Wawa is cheaper than most places and I usually end up in and out with little to no wait versus waiting in line at coffee shops in the morning. I came in at 1:00am, I walked in and the two men that were at the counter staring at me like I had done something wrong. My wallet had been stolen with my entire existence in it and didn't figure it out until I pulled into the parking lot. I used change to pay for my black and mild since that's all I could afford. Point is, you don't treat customers like that because it's your job as customer service to help the customers have a better day. Been in the industry for 6 years and NEVER received service like that.
