Prior to even needing a refill I brought a list of all our prescriptions with insurance documentation. First encounter, I waited more than 30 minutes to pick-up a RX that had been phoned in 6 hours earlier. They had no record. (I am SURE the doctor had transmitted it). Second occasion, again nearly a half hour wait to pick up RX refill for my wife. Was told the Rx was going to be over $200! Said, we have insurance with a co-pay of ZERO. Was told her insurance info wasn't in the system and if I wanted it I needed to pay the $200. Very, very unhelpful. That's why we go to Wal Mart...no hassle, notification and personable staff.

This Walgreens used to provide excellent service; however, over the last 6 - 8 months their service has been absolutely ridiculous! As the primary caregiver for both my parents, I am having to fill prescriptions more frequently. For the last several months, I have had to deal with prescriptions being canceled without notification, critical prescriptions taking 5 - 7 days to be filled, and most recently, very rude and non-empathetic customer service not to mention that they have also hung up on me several times in the midst of discussions regarding issues about the prescriptions. I am very frustrated and will most likely take my business elsewhere. I don't know if they are understaffed in the pharmacy department or what the problem is but they need to DO BETTER!

Explained that I understand my insurance doesn't cover it and said I will be back Friday. 10:30 Friday I return to pick up and it still hasn't been filled. Now I am being told that they do not know if they have it in stock. The pharmacist writes down my phone number and says he will call me in an hour or two. He didn't. I drive up here again three hours later and it still hasn't been filled. An employee presses a couple button and says to the pharmacist "we have one hundred and thirty in stock". Then I am told "we do have them in stock but we are closing for lunch you will have to come back at 2:30". There is a sign on the drive through window saying that the drive though is closed due to short staff. Meanwhile there were 4-5 pharmacy customers on hold according to there phone intercom. I understand being short handed. There is nobody to man the drive through, close it. There isn't enough people to handle every caller, by answering the phone constantly the people who are here get bogged down and cannot do the job in front of them, ok don't answer it. Now you can focus on the customers standing at the counter and they will receive your full attention. If that's what it takes Great!! But I have stood at your counter four times this week my needs have gone unaddressed and you just turned me away again because my medicine was interfering with your lunch break.

I've had visited better and cleaner CVS locations than this location before. However, it's pretty conveniently located in the corner of Aversboro Road and Timber Drive. The inside feels slightly unorganized, but you can pretty much find everything you need here. I actually LOVE their self checkout stations because sometimes I don't want to interact with anyone when I'm buying something at CVS. Pharmacy section can be slow at times, but I usually have a good experience with the staff there. This location is much more convenient than the ones inside Target (there are 2 off on Timber Drive), so this will continue to be my go-to CVS :)

CVS is 2 minutes from my house and the vet is 30, so sure. But they had to special order it. It took a week. When it came in they texted me I could come pick it up. So far, so good. I get there and the pharmacist is standing there with the bottle in his hands and proceeds to tell me they can't "dispense" the meds because it is a non human, pet only drug. My wife was in the area taking our son to Snapkick and daughter to Christy's Dance. After karate class my wife called me and sat in the car blocked for nearly 30 minutes before walking to salon to ask if they knew who's truck had her blocked in. An employee laughed and said it was her husbands truck who was in the salon and she wasn't going to move it. When he proceeded to finally come out side and move it he was rude and lying to my wife about how he was there for only a couple of minutes. He also proceeded to lecture my wife about parking in salon only parking. At the time of this post there is no sign in the parking lot saying salon only parking. I was on the phone the entire time listening to these "nice and honest people" be disrespectful to my wife. Upon calling the salon myself to speak to the a manager, she laughed about the whole situation saying it was unfortunate and prolly shouldn't have happened. After telling her I plan to park there every time I am in the parking lot going forward, she tried telling me two wrongs don't make a right. From there I made it clear being disrespectful to my wife will not making anything right before getting hung up on.
