If you have an issue with an incorrect prescription... the management of the Garner location will not fix it with common sense. It will be (1) your own fault or (2) the system's fault. Do NOT sign up for any service like "fewer trips" or "syncing your prescriptions"... I had to pay $12 for ONE pill one week and then go back the next week to pay $36 for 12 pills... the "system" was setting me up for "fewer" trips. No common sense could get any reasonable resolution! They would not even admit that the situation made no sense. It was MY fault for signing up for their service to save trips and money! Obviously I saved neither time nor money. read more

Dropped a prescription to be filled on Friday afternoon, stopped by Friday evening to pick it up during normal pharmacy hours and the pharmacy was closed to to being understaffed. Stopped by the next day, Saturday afternoon and the pharmacy was again closed for the same reason. Bad company practice. I know they have plenty of money to hire more than enough staff but they are playing the cheap bastage side of things. read more

I have never had a positive experience at this location after 10+ visits. There is always a long line both outside and in the drive thru. The pharmacy is never prepared to give you help with prescriptions and the workers are not positive or kind when helping you. They are always understaffed and are not able to complete orders. I ordered same day Christmas cards on 10/31 - I called to check on them that afternoon as well as the next day in the morning & kept being assured they were almost done and they'd be ready soon. I called at 7:30 pm, and they said they were done and ready for pickup. Although the store was disorganized & my order wasn't ready when I was told it was- I have to say that Bri (the employee that helped me) was literally breaking her back to get me the cards. She was a total gem & stuck it out to get me what I needed. If it wasn't for her, I probably would've been wayyy more upset than I was - this store should definitely give her the recognition she deserves. She's the best! read more

ABSOLUTELY AVOID AT ALL COSTS I have never encountered a more inept and purposefully unhelpful group of people. 1- they intentionally push you to hold and keep you there, have spent 30/40/60 minutes on hold on three different occasions. I stood in line at the pharmacy on hold and watched them hang up on me twice. 2- they can not find a prescription, the pharmacist was unable to locate a prescription two times and not until a tech practically handed it to the pharmacist could they find it. is this really someone you want to rely upon for life saving medication? 3- they faxed information to the wrong pharmacy and then had no clue how to solve it or offer any help. I had to contact the doctor and another pharmacy for them to pull their heads out of the sand and do their job. 4- once you do get your prescription filled, which is never done on time, they treat you with utter disdain as you attempt to pay and retrieve the prescription. read more

If I could give this Walgreens a negative star I would. Every single time I go in it's a major hassle. The pharmacy is extremely understaffed all the time. It takes a minimum of an hour every time I go there. Today was the last straw. Would not fill prescription because I was out of refills. Took time off of work.. waiting for an appt with doc.. no meds.. copay. Doc says you should have plenty of refills!! Why are u here!? Go into Walgreens. They said. I don't kno why you were told no refills.. we will have it ready in 10 minutes. An hour later no meds.. no refill.. Waiting for over an hour for a scheduled flu shot. This place is a madhouse. Avoid at all costs.

They have 15 people all waiting for Covid shots, all past their appointment, i was 1.5 hours past mine, and instead of giving shots they are helping people find Flonase, and complaining about printer problems. I guess they have a captive audience but they act irritated when you expect somewhat reasonable service. They did not staff enough pharmacist. read more

Terrible customer service. Attempted to pick up a script three times over two days before the pharmacist finally told us after asking that it needed to be called in differently. Very simple issue to resolve if they had simply let us know what was going on. Now 24 hours till don't have the medication that I should have started yesterday. read more

This pharmacy is the worst. Terrible service. Meds are never ready even when you get a call saying that they are. There is always some kind of issue when i go to pick up meds with little to no explanation. The staff don't seem to care. I've switched my prescriptions to a local pharmacy. I'm in Shock at how ripped off I just was. I use Good RX. My generic Zofran I had filled for an upcoming surgery is between $6.00 and $20.00 Everywhere except Walgreens which charges $117.00! Since Walgreens stands in solidarity at that price they won't price match a price for other pharmacies. Of course I didn't notice this until After I left the store. I was picking up multiple RX and just told them to use the "Express Pay". I'm SOL and pissed as hell. read more

I think the problem is they let people sit in the drive-through lane that have problems that should be addressed in the store. They are nice enough but I really have never dealt with a Walgreens that has this much problems with their pharmacy. Went to pick up a prescription and they had no idea what I was talking about even though they had been telling me to pick up my prescription by text. read more

Poor service, I would call and the would inform me.me my prescription is ready, when I arrive to pick it up my medicine was not ready. They kept telling me they were waiting on the truck. The next time they told me that they had put my medicine back on the shelf, after I had called to tell that I would be there the next day to pick it up. read more

The folks at the pharmacy are really nice. However, unfortunately they are not efficient. Half of the time these prescriptions that I get on a regular monthly basis or not available and I have to wait days before they can re-order it and I may be out of the medication by then. I have complained and they do nothing so unfortunately I am choosing not to use this pharmacy any longer. read more

This Walgreen is close to my house but this is the last, last time I am dealing with them. The pharmacy is so understaffed that customers stack of 6 or 7 deep before the only person in the pharmacy wanders over to offer to help. They have a consultation area but they consult with customers -- some who discuss their meds for 20 minutes -- right at the register. Also, I have yet to have a prescription filled there that was completely correct. They either find out they don't have the drug, they can't fill it in the quantity prescribed, they get it wrong or something else that requires more than one trip to get simple prescription filled. Management needs to take a serious look at this location before a terrible mistake is made. read more

I don't know what has happened to this place but I sure have had enough of a drugstore not having the medications I need. I have been on the same 2 medications for over 3 years and for the last several months I've had to go to other Walgreens miles away because they don't have one or both medicines in stock. Then I am the only person in there and I am told it will be 45 minutes to get one prescription filled after just driving 30 minutes from the first Walgreens. They told me if I call a few days in advance they might be able to have the medications I need in stock. After over 3 years of picking up the same medications I now have a new job of informing the drugstore that I am going to need my prescriptions filled and what brand and quantity. The worse part is I have to get them on the day I run out so I have no room to wait and have to go wherever the nearest store that has them even if it means I have to go to 3 different locations which has happened just in order to get 2 prescriptions filled. Here it is 6 hours later and 80+ miles and I finally have 2 prescriptions filled lamo. They call at lunch time and tell me my prescriptions will be ready by 1:30 and once I get there they inform me they only have one and won't have the other one for about a week. When I tell them I have to have it today they told me I will have to drive 25+ miles away to get it and we are having a drug problem in this country why!! It seems the drug dealers have more drugs than your local drugstore and are a lot more convenient on getting them lol. Thanks Walgreens for contributing to that problem!!! read more

The pharmacy and staff are amazing! My daughter knows them by name and rushes to give them hugs! It's really a community store!
